Nintendo have announced Pokemon X and Pokemon Y for the Nintendo 3DS. They will both be released worldwide on October 12, 2013.

 

Kinda on the topic, I wish there was a online MMO like the pokemon MMO, but you make your own region for others to go through with others...

A trailer in Japan has revealed that a new 3DS XL, themed around Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will be released in Japan in October when the game is released. There’s no image of the hardware yet, but it’s said to feature a print of Xerneas and Yveltal, the legendary additions to the games, and will be available in both red and blue. Fingers crossed it’s released elsewhere.

I need more pokemon...to be revealed. We should be getting a new Pokemon of like half of the types existing in the next reveal.

 

 

I STILL want to see a gen 6 Dark, Psychic, Pure Electric, and Pure Normal...I have a feeling they're gonna put off Steel and Pure Dragon types for a while.

To make it realistic, flying Pokemon (That are actually off the ground) should have new models and be on the ground standing after being hit with Knock Down. It'd be a nice touch.

yeah, and maybe it can show status effects more. Not like closing eyes when asleep, like constant flames if on fire, or purple bubbles when poisoned. Oh and derpy ass cross eyes when confused :D!

I'll laugh seeing Areodactyl using Smack Down on a Flying Pokémon in Sky Battles. That's like the end of the entire battle right there.

Pokemon X & Y Global Link Opens. Will Spell the End for Pokemon Black & White 2:

 

With the highly anticipated Pokémon X & Y due for release October 12 on the Nintendo 3DS, the Global Link will be undergoing a few renovations. Scheduled maintenance for the Global Link will run from the beginning of October for twelve days in order to prepare for the special X & Y version, but it will also spell the end for various online features within Black, Black 2, White and White 2.

October 12 will see the trial version of the Dream World deactivated from the previous versions, as well as new user registration, plus on December 10 you will no longer be able to put Pokémon to sleep. Fans will have a few months grace before the big changes start happening, though, as on January 14 the following features will be deactivated:

• The GTS tracking for Gen V and Rating Mode on Random Matchup
• The ability to do WiFi Memory Link in Black 2 & White 2.
• C-Gear, Musical and Pokédex Skin changing.
• Waking up your Pokémon to get items and Pokémon – however, you will be able to wake your Pokémon up from the game side at any time, but the ability to do so from the Global Link will be deactivated.

Using GTS, Free Rating in Random Matchup and all other in-game online features will continue, however, so there’s no need to completely abandon your beloved Black and White games just yet.

I actually hope they make Pokemon Z and not Pokemon X2 and Y2 like they did with Black and White, and I'm not even gonna get X or Y because if they make a Z I would be like well then....so yeah I'm just gonna wait to see if they make a Z, and if its X2 and Y2 well then I will see which one I will get out of them.
