• I am GM, so I can do what I want, and I can judge other things to be fair or not. Also, I have assigned Josh wilson to be in charge if I am away

How This Is Going to Work

Basically, as GM I will assign you all various missions to complete, along with free time to interact with each other. However, you must complete each and every mission with the character's Lifetime Goal in mind. The lifetime goal is one of the three things the Memory Master has allowed the character to remember, and it is the essential mission of the character. I will also offer divergent choices to all the characters. Also, at completion of certain missions, choices, or on occasion, inter-character interactions, I will award that character a memory. I will message you telling you that your character has received a memory, and then you post as the character remembering something. Those are basically how this is going to play out, so buckle up, and have some fun!

And posted, forgive me if I seemed to be OP with the aural disruption and all, but it can be avoided, albeit rarely, sometimes the magic is simply weakened by a large margin, but not flat out nullified, depends on the victim's overrall power of their Aura.

Now you're just being stubborn. You know that I can't have a 30 foot tall giant robot as a PC walking around. The scale and balance of the game would go completely off the rails. You'd have people like Sylar and Neena and Derik just getting swatted like a fly or squashed. Not to mention how much that being a character's main power limits the path of the game. It's simply far too large.

It has an AI, its made of metal, its highly technologica, its Gabriel's wet dream to mess with that thing, just looking at it on full power he'l stop it from moving.

The AI is less A and more I, and considering it was summoned by the gods I really wouldn't consider technology. But do what you want, character slots are still open as always.

 

Anyway, I guess it's a good thing that Mes certainly has a LOT of magic power, so she won't be nullified by Drax, just severely weakened. Considering my current hope for her development path for her in Tirain, I want her to be a magic glass cannon of the group. But who knows, plans change.

 

On another note, Sylar's theme song was just released. Oh goodness, you have no idea how long I've tried to find something for him, and I've made do with Fairly Local and some others, but this one is just so perrrrrfect.

Not every character here is godlike in power. We have plenty of Tier 2 power levels around. Don't feel like you have to catch up to the par set by characters like Neena and Sylar (especially since Sylar in particular is OP as all hell in this game). Greater mobility and agility, smaller target, but the suit is thinner and can be more easily destroyed, killing the user, and more often run out of power, armaments are often weaker as a result. Require a visual HUD and great strength to begin with to use due to their weight. Worn like a suit of armor.

 

Mech = pilot-able transformer, fully mechanical, has a cockpit where the pilot sits and is generally, though cramped, are very well armored and prorected, and are large enough to give some movement and freedom of body in the suit to an extent, often either uses physical movement tracking systems or specialized pilot seats with an assortment of buttons, nobs, touch pads, joysticks, ect. Generally faster as they can use larger boosters, much heavier, and better armored, and stronger but slower than a Power Armor, weaponry is far more intense in both size and power, and even appearance, and they're easier targets. Power downs with them aren't too severe nor is destruction of the suit all the time, as there is a chance to eject or leave the body in some matter without death or being completely pinned.

 

A power armor relies more heavily on the physicality and management skills of the user, whereas a mech more relies on one's ability to plan, counter, and adjust.

It depends on the situation. Personally I prefer a mech to a set of power armor, but that's me.
