You awake for the first time. You try to recall what has brought you here, but nothing comes to mind. You see others around you, also waking up for the first time. Confused, you sit up as a voice echoes all around you.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Boys and Girls,

Welcome to the Amnesia Games!

You have been allowed to remember three things

Your name

Your goal in life

And your skills in combat

And some of you don't even have one of those!

I have brought you here

From all over the omniverse

You each have an interesting story

But none of you know it

Because I have taken your memories

And the only way to get them back

Is to play my little game

So have fun

I'll be in touch

And the voice goes silent.

Mission 1: Interact with each other! Find out everybody else's name. One memory will go to each group at the end of the mission.

Renton 'Ren' Kisaragi, Neena Mors, Switch, and Noah Himitsu awake in a dense forest.

Walter Evergreen, Joshua Akira, Dom Locke, and Bronshu Wes awake near a bubbling spring in a flower meadow.

Morgan Etiam Vinctum, Mes Orem, Wolf, and Rexon Wrexx awake in a desert, sand blowing and sun shining.

Sylar awakes at a snow-covered mountaintop, all alone.

Auron saw one of the girls in the group waving her hands (Mes). He slided over the sanddune, reaching the group. "Hey...is good to see you are fine." He said while looking at them. " My name is Auron by the way. What´s yours?" He asked.

Harry appeared out of nowhere in front of Auron. "Names Harry. The girl that was waving just now happens to be called Messy, and she is madly in love with me." Harry said to mess with Mes. He then teleported away before he got hurt.

Rexon stopped for a moment and shouts out loud:  "If there's someone back there I didn't or forgot to meet, the guy that's yelling to you now is me, Rexon Wroxx!  But please, Rex for short!  I'm not sure what the rest of you are doing, but I'm still looking for the oasis."  Res scratches his head and thinks:  Wherever it is. and resumes his search.

"whooa!" Auron shouted as Harry appeared... however as soon as he appeared he vanished..... probably running away from the other girl. "So.. Mes.... That´s a nice nickname huh?" Black said as he checked his game one more time.... "Mmm... so indeed this is not the Reaper´s Game... mmm" he said while touching his chin.

"Mmm... Rex... Looks like we all are together right Mes and... uhmm... who is she?" Auron asked as he looked at the girl with a certainly purple aura around her.... - Somehow it reminds me of someone... but who?- Auron thought for a moment

Before Joshua could think of anything to say to Walter, Ryonne stepped in abruptly, laying out all of her thoughts a bit harshly. He stood near them silently, and nervously. Ryonne didn't seem to take quietly to those who were a bit...dependent...exactly what Joshua himself is. Without...Aisling...he was defenseless. "I-It's okay, Walter...don't worry about me, I know not everything you remember will be...nice." Joshua looked down a bit, he was standing almost exactly where he awoke. Along with that single celandine near the spring, many of the lilies, daisies, and roses were blackened with Sylar's shadow and drained of life. A fitting sign of what he felt-- so much more than misery and self-pity, even if those were both present within.Noah remained silent, without any reason to respond to anything to neither Neena nor Ren. His gray eyes remained blank without emotion, and he drifted his eyes to the direction of the mountain. He examined the mountain itself, trying to anticipate an approximate distance between themselves and it, Evidently, it was a bit inconclusive, with an abundance of trees blocking his view, as well as the chirping and chattering of various animals and arthropods simply irritated him. All he knew is that the mountain was...far. "...We should start going. No time wasted. Even a single memory might be useful...."Morgan gave a smirk behind Mes and took her scabbard, latching it back onto her side with the blade still sheathed. She gave a quick look at Auron and began reading his thoughts based on expression. "I appear to strike a sense of familiarity with you...strangely, however, you do not have such with me. Interesting...."

Ryonne nodded to Walter, who seemed to take his words a bit harshly. Good. They were intended that way. He gestured to Joshua to follow, and jogged back up to Bronshu, at the front of the trekking group. He didn't say anything to him, but rather walked on in silence. He wasn't going to start any conversations voluntarily. No need to. The voice had laid it all out for them. Make it to the mountaintop, the faster the better.

~~~~~~~~
Neena nodded to both Noah and Ren. They had similar thought processes. Get moving. Neena gestured for Robert to follow. "Moving along it is." She agreed with Ren and Noah. She slid her sword back into it's sheath, and began the long hike out of the forest. Neena had never really like going through the forest on foot. It really caused so much noise. Going through the trees seemed more her style, but she didn't want to seem like she was abandoning the rest of the group.
"I swear Harry, don't think I wouldn't stab you and leave your body to burn in the desert sun!" Mes threatened after she heard Harry's interjection. Those little words had seriously ticked her off. She took a deep breath, and recomposed herself for Auron. "Nice to meet ya, my name is Mes, Stiff over there is Morgan, and Rexon just yelled his name to you. So, if there are no further questions, we better get to finding that oasis."
Bronshu stopped a moment from Ryonne passing by and shook his head.  He thinks:  Huh.  Nice moving there man.  I understand we have to get to where we need to go asap, but there's such a thing as going too fast.  There's no point in getting worked up about it.  Bronshu shakes his head again and keeps walking.
Rexon stops in place, wiping sweat from his forhead with his left arm.  Sighing, he says:  "Whew.  This is what I'd expect from a desert.  So much heat.  I wonder if I'm close to the oasis."  Rex squints and sees something in the distance.  Shady trees, pushes, a kool and refreshing pool of water!  Smiling, Rex says:  "The oasis!"  He stops and says:  "Wait a minute.  I need to think about this carefully.  On one hand, it could be the real thing.  On the other hand, it might be a mirage.  Well, there's one way to find out."  Rex heads out towards the oasis.  When he get there, he heads to the water to get a handful to drink. Before drinking, Rex watches the water turn to sand and everything fade away.  With his right eye twitching, Rex faceplants into the sandy ground and mumbles:  "Sand fail."
Harry reappeared not far from Mes. "Well honey, I felt the mist of water coming from the southeast direction from here. I would say about five to ten miles away." Harry said. He knew which directions were which, since he found a compass spell in his memory. The actual miles though were beyond what he could figure out. "Also sweet baby Mes, you couldn't hurt me if you tried." Harry said with a smile.
Robert sat a short ways from the rest of the group, his back against a tree and tears trickling down his face. The memory he had been "rewarded" was a particularly painful one. Not only that, but somehow he knew that this memory had greatly saddened Robert from the moment it happened to the moment his memory was erased.
In his memory, Robert looked to be only six or seven years old, with tears running down his face. He was standing in a graveyard, in front of a headstone.
He then turned his head to the left, where another headstone lay, this one clearly planted recently.
As Robert stood there crying, a clean cut man in a suit and glasses, who looked to be in his early fifties, walked in front of him. "Hello, my name is Mr. West. I am sorry for the loss of your father." he said somberly, and stretched out his hand to Robert, who hesitantly shook it. "I'm with child services. I'm afraid you'll have to come with me."
Robert was shocked, "But why? I thought I live with uncle Andrew now." Robert said. He wasn't very close with his uncle, but he was the only family member he had left. He turned to look at his uncle, who was at the top of a hill, but uncle Andrew was busy getting into his car and driving away to notice. Robert wasn't even able to look long enough to see if there was any regret in his face before he was gone.
"Your uncle has been deemed unfit to take care of you. He claimed that the only way you could have made it out of the house in time while your father did not was that you set your house on fire, and made sure to run out before it was too late. However, we have all the reason to believe that the fire was an accident." Mr. West said.
The young Robert looked at the ground and shed a tear, and his appearance became a little fuzzy for a moment, before returning back to normal. Mr. West squinted his eyes and began cleaning his glasses, clearly thinking that there was a problem with his vision. The present Robert, however, knew better, having seen himself do the same thing while fighting the lizard men about a minute ago. He then knew exactly what happened. When the fire went off, he likely panicked, became intangible, and ran straight through the fire and the walls, and out of the house. Some how, deep inside him, he knew he was right. After a minute of silence, young Robert finally spoke up, "Okay, I'll come with you." he said, and took the man's hand. The memory faded.
Robert wiped away his tears, took a deep breath, and stood up. He had to keep his calm, even though he now had to go through that horrible experience of learning he didn't have a family anymore a second time. Now having regained his composure, Robert began following the rest of the group on their hike out of the forest.
Walter looked at Joshua. "I feel... Quite unwell keeping this to myself... My memories must all be tragic... My heart has a feeling of..."
He couldn't pinpoint it .
Joshua's eyes drifted a little nervously, but he smiled optimistically, as he always did with other people. He was never pessimistic with anyone but himself. "Just...don't pay any more attention to them...! All that matters is now, right?"Noah continued observing the forest inquisitively as they strolled through it. While they were making a bit of noise, surely any potential predators would have shown by now. With the lizard creatures having battled earlier, why would any animals stray away? Unless, perhaps, they were controlled just as those reptilian warriors. Regardless, this was the most simplistic means of travel.Morgan sighed, "I'd prefer to not be referred to as 'Stiff.' In fact, I fail to see how that became a nickname of mine." She glared at Mes for a moment, such a pretentious young one she was. She gave a soft smirk to her then, having thought of the only memory she regained. Morgan then looked to Harry, "Southeast-- the exact opposition of our true goal. We must decide if reaching the mountain is of greater or lesser significance to the oasis...."
"I-I guess..." Walter said. "I just... Who was that girl..."
"Even if w-- you don't want to...I think you'll find out, anyway...." Joshua pointed out, taking Walter's hand and strolling to Ryonne and Bronshu before Ryonne would say anything to them...again.
Walter walked right behind him. That boy really might be light... Some way for reform..
(I suspect you played Journey.... for the light in the mountain.... just saying xD)
"Alright then" Auron exclaimed with sucha  confident tune.... but indeed was a serious need, even if they walked to the light far away, the heat of the sunrays would do a huge amount of damage to them...."But... where we can find the oasis? mmmmm"
Joshua's eyes drifted a little nervously, but he smiled optimistically, as he always did with other people. He was never pessimistic with anyone but himself. "Just...don't pay any more attention to them...! All that matters is now, right?"Noah continued observing the forest inquisitively as they strolled through it. Then Auron heard Morgan´s words... the choice was hard.. if they pursued the light the desert would do the deal... but if they went to the oasis, maybe it would be  a trap... "Mmm... still we need water to move.... mmm is there a way to travel faster? perhaps the teleport guy can help us ...right?" Auron said reffering to the avoid-conflict Harry.
Dom kept quiet after the battle ended. So, 'the crowd' was watching. That could be useful later on.
"So, I'm thinking about possible advantages in a fight but not worrying about possible death." She thought. "Interesting."
With the knowledge that they had to head for the light, Dom started heading that way. She had managed to kill a few soldiers, but something was way off about her fighting. There was her weapon having to be drawn by her off hand, for one, tp but there wasn't a holster or sheath for another weapon.
"There is this backpack." She thought, feeling it with her left hand. "It's empty, but feels right on my back. Maybe my other weapon goes in there."
Also on her list of oddities was her vision. She wasn't seeing through her eyes, she knew that well enough, but the eye patch worked well to make up for it. But there was till something wrong, like it wasn't all she should be "seeing."
Mes wanted to give a sharp retort to Harry, but didn't. If he wanted to think he was stronger for now, let him. She'd teach him someday. But for now, she needed to attend to deciding which way to go. She looked back to Morgan and Auron. "We should head to the oasis first. If it really is only a short distance, like Harry said, then it'd be more worth it to go there first, especially if we can get some water to carry." Mes said logically. She was smart, just lacking common sense. Oh, and lacking manners. But those didn't matter.
~~~~~~~~~~~

Neena looked behind her at Robert. He seemed to only now have recovered from the pain of the memory. Then she remembered her own. Keyblades... no wonder she hated them. Those weapons had taken them from her. Neena also remembered her own weapons. She didn't use a keyblade. Was it from choice, or was she not worthy. Something told her that if there was a conscious choice, she wouldn't hate the weapons as much as she did. Now, Neena really only wanted to find out more. What happened to her as she grew up? It was a question that wouldn't be answered for a long while.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Ryonne walked. If the others were judging him, that was their business. He knew who he was... sort of. In any case, he doubted that others' opinions had ever mattered to him. He glanced back to the spring they had just left, and saw one more person still. "Come." He said calmly, and directly. He doubted that she really wanted to be left behind, but if she held them up too long, then Ryonne was not going to wait for her.
Harry made a smile. "Well, I may not know much, but I can still remember what mist feels like. And if we are able to get all the supplies we will need, then we can make it to that light without any problems. That is if we don't run into any enemies." Harry said. He still knew that they might run into more enemies like the lizard men.
Rexon removes his head from the sand and shakes it.  He thinks:  No oasis here.  I should probably go back to the others.  Rex gets on his feet and marches back to the group.  While he was getting back to them, Rex thinks:  I'm curious as to what I forgot.  Were most of them good, bad, or indifferent?  Well, no point in trying to focus on it for now.
  • Author
Mes smiled at Rexon as he rejoined the group, then nodded back to Harry. "Cool, we got everybody back and ready. Southeast it is I guess. Better get going." Mes said easily. She set off in the direction Harry had pointed out. She was curious about the memories she was going to receive. Would they be good, or bad? Would she turn out to have been a good person, or a bad one? There were still so many questions, and not a single answer. But Mes was determined to get through this. She continued walking through the desert.
Walter was walking down the meadow. He felt so bad... He, in a pervious life... Had blood on his hands...and they were only a fraction. Should he fight more? It would only bring pain...
Ren looked around in the forest. He looked at his hands, and ethereal blades came back. He cut down some trees with one swipe to see a clearer path
  • Author
As Ren sliced down the last tree in their way, a small clearing became evident. There was a fire pit, five bedrolls, a large cask of water, and some butchered meat on a large plate. Neena stepped forward into the clearing, examining everything. She counted the sleeping bags. Five. "But there are only four of us..." She muttered to herself. Right after she said that, another woman stepped out of the forest across from them. The woman was humming easily, holding a basket of gathered fruits. The she spotted the group. She dropped the basket immediately, and drew her laser sword. It glowed a soft purple. On the other side of the clearing, Neena stood with her blade ready. Both women were staring daggers at the other. Eventually the new woman's expression softened.
"Oh, you must be the people the voice was talking about. My name is Rija, and it's nice to meet you guys." Rija said easily. Neena refused to put her sword down. Rija gave her a look that said "Seriously?". Rija gathered the fruits back into the basket, and placed the basket next to the meat. "You guys can leave if you want, but this is the only place with fire, sleep, and pre-made food. I recommend you guys stay here, for the night at least." Rija said.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

As Ryonne stepped over one last foothill, his eyes were met with a welcome sight. Bedrolls, fire, food and water. An excellent settlement for the night, if a bit suspicious. Ryonne walked closer to the fire. No one was around. Or so he thought. It was then that Brooklyn wandered over the hill. In a blink of an eye, Ryonne was on top of the teenager, blade to the newcomers neck. "Who are you?" He asked threateningly.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mes ran to the top of a sand dune. On the other side, she could finally see the oasis. Near the oasis, there was also food, a fire, and some sleeping bags. "Woo!" She yelled, and jumped down the dune towards the water. At the oasis' edge, she gulped down handfuls of water at a time. She turned to yell to the others. The young keyblader was met by the sight of a young man, stern expression on his face, weapons in sheaths all over his body. Derik did not look very happy. "Umm, hi." Mes said defensively.
Ren walked forward, looking at Rija. "Hello..." He walked to the campfire, and ate some food.
Brooklyn merely moved the blade away from his neck with a single finger. "I would ask you, but your not too easy to talk to, seeing as you would cut me down before asking me my business. This is my camp, last I checked. And besides..." A rope trap sprung up under Ryonne. "I prefer you not step in my baited traps." He said, his calm tone never once left him. He produced Finrir, and used it to cut Ryonne down. "My name is Brooklyn, and I would prefer you not to try and kill me.""Who are you, and what's your business?" Derik asked, his anger slightly apparent in his tone. "These provisions are for myself and one other person, should I find her, so you better have a damn good reason for being here." He stated, drawing the laser katana off of himself and pointing it at her back.
Walter looked at Brooklyn, and his weapons. Immediately, he produced the weapons. He sighed. His powers seed cool, but now? With all the people he might have killed? "My name is Walter Evergreen." He said, acting as he did before he remembered. "Nice to meet you, mister Broklyn! It's always nice to see an new face!"
