Posted January 24, 201411 yr When you play a video game, do you get emotionally invested in it? Do you feel for the characters and the events in the story?
January 24, 201411 yr Not really, I used to had the "feelz" for Final Fantasy, and Halo but those "feelz" were moved to Anime's now.
January 24, 201411 yr ...OF COURSE I GET FEELSY WHEELSIES. THIS...(points at self) IS HEELY MCFEELSIES HERSELF.
January 24, 201411 yr Yes I'm empathetic when it comes to characters of video games, movies, tv shows, or books And when it is over I feel empty lol
January 24, 201411 yr Not usually but when you have some amazing characters worth caring about then sure.
January 24, 201411 yr I definitely become emotional if I make a connection with the characters. Not just with video games, but with books and animes.
January 25, 201411 yr Yes I'm empathetic when it comes to characters of video games, movies, tv shows, or books And when it is over I feel empty lol Same here.
January 25, 201411 yr Xipn's death and some scenes in Tales of the Abyss did raise some emotions. At first in Tales nothing happened, but as more stuff happened in my personal life, I started to connect with one of the characters.
January 25, 201411 yr 358/2 Days, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team/ Explorers of the Sky .-. ^This! Yeah, I can get emotional at games. But it's a VERY wide variety of emotions. Phoenix Wright Justice for All legitimately got me mad at one of the characters, I feel happy and laugh every time I play Earthbound, I can connect with Shulk in his quest to slay the Mechon in Xenoblade, and that ending of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky...just... ;_; THE FEELS!
February 2, 201411 yr Depends how much I like the character I guess. This goes for both games and shows/movies.
