Has anyone but me noticed that whenever there's a new KH game out every Kh fan just goes and buy a console FOR JUST THAT GAME? Not to be mean but isn't that kind a desperate way to play Kingdom Hearts games? I mean you don't need to get EVERY console just to play the series. Just look at kingdom hearts 3D. Already Kh fans are gonna sell their DSI's just to get the new kingdom hearts 3DS. Don't you guys think it is kinda a waste of money to buy a console just for one game then sell it just for another KH game coming out for another console? Sorry if this was mean, not trying to be a troll or anything.

I'm getting a little fed up about having to buy practically every handheld so I can play the next KH game...I will be sooo poor by the end of this. x'D ...I only have a DS lite and PSP so far...but the 3DS actually caught my attention at E3 before they announced KH 3D would be a game for it...so I guess that worked out. > >;;;

Thats because they want to play the game, All True Gamers do that. If there is Game they really want they buy the console.

I'm a big fan of the KH series and I will buy the 3DS but I aint buying it just for Kingdom Hearts but for other games as well. I will admit however that Kingdom Hearts is a big plus in my decision to buy a 3DS so you can call me a little desperate.. lol

Well if you think about it, they are selling their DS to get a 3DS which lets them still play their DS games. So i guess its really just extension.. At least thats my reasoning for doing it

But yeah, I understand where you're coming from. It's kinda sad, considering (sad as in the pathetic sad) how the game's just been announced. I mean, if you're going to buy a new console, at least wait to see if there will be a few more games you might want. Otherwise, if you buy the console and the game you were looking forward to and it turns out you hate the game, you'd have wasted a significant amount of money and time.

I'm pretty sure they don't just buy the system just because the game is coming out for it. That's kinda too hardcore. If they do that, they are either spoiled, rich and can afford doing that, or just don't have common sense.

joking aside, I know what you mean. If you really look at it though: KH1, KH2, and Re:CoM came out on the PS2 and Days, Re:Coded and 3D will be out on a DS platform. If you have a PS2+ or a DS+ you can play almost all of the games right there. Coded and Chain of Memories don't count since they are remade into one of those consoles so basically the only game you really had to go out of your way to buy was a PSP for Birth by Sleep.

 

And as for the 3DS, don't you just want it? Not only will you be able to play the newest game, but also Re:Coded and 358/2 Days and so many other great titles

 

And there are many reasons for it, but one reason why they probably decide to put different games in the KH series on different platforms is because that's what offers a new viewpoint and challenge, and that's what the fans want. How many people have you seen beg for a KH game on the Wii? You have to think of some people also who only have one console and want a KH game to come to them.

 

Of course though, we're the obsessive ones so we will do whatever it takes to go to KH

...I know right? I like Kingdom Hearts, but I'm not buying a system just for that game. I just watched BBS clips online and read summaries. (And I found out that I hated it, lol.)

So I'm not buying Kingdom Hearts 3D. :| If that wasn't already obvious. XDDD

I'm not gonna buy a new system for each new game that comes out, I rather just watch it on YouTube

Damn, now I just feel akward. :idea: I've been buying the portables just for the KH games. Yea that's true, but it still was a good game. But I didn't really clear up any points, it just shows wut happened

Whether people liked the gameplay or not, Days offered a missing link (quite a few actually) to the story and was a necessity. All the games offer new pieces to this great and complicated puzzle of a story

I'm getting a PSP for BBS.

And besides, I've always kinda wanted a Psp.... ._.

Well, yeah I kinda did that too. I got my psp mainly for bbs but i always had wanted one in the past so it wud be cool to get one so i traded my DSI in for one. Which didn't matter cuz my brother has a DS so i cud play that wen when i wanted to play days and he cud use my psp wen he wanted to play something. So it all works out.... As long as i share

Well... I'm buying the 3ds because it has so many great games coming out for it, and it's an overall powerhouse of a handheld.

Then I found out there was a new KH game. Plus Final Fantasy confirmed for it.

Similarly, Birth By Sleep is what pushed me over the edge to get a PSP. I was already interested in a bunch of other games for it.

So far I already had the console for every KH game except BBS. I was going to get a 3DS anyway, the KH game is just (a huge) plus. Since I found that there would be a 3DS KH I lost interest in getting BBS. Yes it looks like a great game, but dont want to go outta my way to get a system I don't want.

well I always wanted a DS and getting 358/2 Days is what pushed me to finally buy it along with the other games I wanted. I'm borrowing a PSP for BBS, and I just really want a 3DS, but not only for KH.

yeah, a few years ago my dad got me the ps2 slim, and i was talking to a friend about it, and she suggested that i try kingdom hearts, so i went to best buy, bought the second one, and was pulled in by roxas, (he is totaly awesome ), after being confused about the story line, and who those fallen organization members were, i got the first one, then com, recom(i just innocently walked into a gamestop looking at the ps2 games and behold, a better version of a 'difficult' game), days (the first time i heard about that game was from the same friend nearly two years before i even saw things about the game), and now i have to buy even more systems to play the games, a psp, and a 3ds, yes its frustrating, but i really want to experience the gameplay for myself,

Its hard to pick..... I wish they wouldn't do anymore handhelds. Kingdom Hearts is more of a non-handheld thing. Days and bbs are great i was really surprised at how good they were (tho i haven't played bbs yep ) but i think they shud lay off the handhelds for awhile don't you? I think its time for one for the ps3

KH 3ds isn't the reason i would buy 3Ds it would be for MGS Snake eater: the naked sample,Paper Mario,Star Fox 64,Mario Kart 3ds,Kid Icarus uprising then maybe Kh 3ds

I mean I heard about KH and read about it on wikipedia and saved up my money to buy a playstation 2 and the first KH game and i ended up loving it, as well as other games I purchased to play on my playstation.

I mean if we want to buy a new system to play the game, that doeesn't make up desperate. It's our choice to buy it and I don't see why it matters to anyone else

i don't think it's desperadoes. i would do it ~ if i had money. if i did i wouldnt buy a brand new one, i'd try find a used one on eBay. (: <3 i'm more interested in the storyline and cutscenes of the games compared to actually playing them tbh. i wouldn't say "... every KH fan ..." because not every one of us does. but i do borrow my sisters DS and buy KH games for it. she doesn't care. 8D /shot

I agree about the no handheld thing, but why should we then go out and buy a ps3? Its way to expensive(in my opinion) and it would break the whole ps2 thing they have going on for the "Sora" part of the story.
