Sup everyone, haven't posted in AWHILE. I've finally decided to get FF X/X2 HD for Vita (Not ps3 since my vita is desperate for some games) when it releases, since i've never played FF X nor its sequel before (crazy right?). Everyone says it's one of the best final fantasy games since 7 and i'm curious to play it myself and experience the praise it gets. (March 18th needs to HURRY UP! Persona 4 Golden cant keep me playing my vita for long :c ) 

 

Question though; is final fantasy X really that good that people say it is? Also, let me know if your getting it too!

I absolutely loved FFX, wasn't a fan of FFX-2 though.  Still, both games were an overall great experience, and I think it's worth getting.

I too look will be getting Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD and all I can say is that you have to play it, yourself to understand just how great FFX is.

One of the best stories ever, with brilliant characters. And its gameplay is one of the best RPG experiences I have ever had (and I have played a lot of RPG's). But when it comes down to it, it might just not be your cup of tea. Though as an experienced RPG player, I recommend this game to everyone.

I loved it, but it's better to form your own opinion than listen to ours, since across the board you'll get people saying it's awesome or horrible; it's that kind of game.

I owned both of them, but lost them in a move, good choice.

If you like Kingdom Hearts you should like those two games, have fun.

It's Cross Buy? I dont think it is, but i know its cross-save though 

I'll be getting them day one if I can,but I'll play them once I finish both Final Fantasy 7 and 9 and FF4 The After Years

Ive heard its pretty good, though i plan to judge it myself when i get it at release. Its said to be linear(at least for X) but people still love it. At launch it was more or less the way the XIII games are now(by that i mean you either loved it or hated it, and that people were critcizing it for the lienarity), but people grew to love it over time. I look forward to getting it.

FINAL FANTASY X and X-2 are amazing.
