SQUARE PORTAL have started a pretty amazing fan project concerning the FINAL FANTASY XIII games. Check it out here.

I wanna participate...even though I never played XIII...

i got to like chapter 5 on the first game wish I would have beat it

Farewell? It's only beginning

Farewell? It's only beginning

They meant a farewell to the XIII trilogy that's gonna end with Lightning Returns FFXIII

The whole project will consist of letters being sent to Square Enix,fanarts,contests...etc

The guy behind this project looks passionate about it and I hope the fanbase won't ruin it

They'll be back...one day >.>

They'll be back...one day >.>

That's the end, they can never extend the story anymore than what they did already

And if they came back it's probably gonna be some definitive edition bullshit for next gen like Tomb Raider Definitive edtion

Exactly

Exactly

But it'll still be the end of the story itself and there won't be more sequels

Square does love making money~

Square does love making money~

And that's why the XIII trilogy isn't selling as much as any FF game before it

Hell, the Compilation of FF7 games have sold way more than the XIII trilogy, and that includes the hated Dirge of Cerberus....Advent Children doesn't count because it's a movie

XIII-2 sold half the sales of the first game

and LRFFXIII is falling in the Japanese charts with FFXX-2 HD surpassing it

So yeah,if Square wants more money they should start working on other Final Fantasy games and leave the XIII games for good

Y'know what??

Since they actually decided to conclude the XIII saga

Why not conclude the story of the FFVII saga then???

Dirge of Cerberus ended on a cliffhanger secret ending where Genesis(from Crisis Core) carries Weiss and flies away.

I know we got so many sequels these days, but please FFVII-2 instead of X-3
