How about they finish the Final Fantasy VII saga(a.k.a the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII)

 

We've been left on a cliffhanger ever since the secret ending of Dirge of Cerberus

 

 

During this Genesis awakens but looks like he's possessed by Nero(the one from this game not from DMC4),he takes Weiss and flies away

 

This ending occurs after the events of Dirge of Cerberus not before Crisis Core as some people say

 

I know that Square has made too many sequels recently,but honestly instead of X-3 how about VII-2

 

 

I really want an actual definitive ending with an epic showdown against a resurrected Jenova with a battle system similar to either the original or Crisis Core

 

And before you say Advent Children is VII-2....no.That was a movie not a full game and Dirge of Cerberus is not VII-2 because it was more about Vincent than Cloud

 

Crisis Core was a prequel

 

I know that the VII series had been milked already but I still want VII-2

 

Lightning got her conclusion and Cloud deserves one too

 And before you say Advent Children is VII-2....no.That was a movie not a full game and Dirge of Cerberus is not VII-2 because it was more about Vincent than Cloud

 

 

Not saying it was VII-2, but Advent Children was the conclusion to Cloud's story, even if we didn't get to play it... 

 

Either way, I want Square to go full force into focusing on XV now.

It wasn't really a conclusion at all.

 

It's just Cloud protecting Midgar from Sephiroth clones...that's it

 

There isn't that much conclusion here to be honest

 

And I never said they should leave XV to make a VII sequel.

I know you never said that. I was saying they should all focus on the next big thing for them. XV's gonna make gaming history for Square Enix.

Hojo is beyond redemption,we've established that ever since Dirge of Cerberus

 

But at least Sephiroth would've known the truth regardless of redemption or not

 

Speaking of Redemption,Golbez totally redeemed himself in FF4 The After Years despite him killing so many people in FF4 when he was under Zemus's control

 

Sure he was controlled but that isn't what other people would see about Golbez,he may never redeem himself in the eyes of the general public but he redeemed himself in Cecil's and his friend's eyes

 

I never said Sephiroth should redeem himself once he knows the truth,but it's not impossible to do

 

I just want the final showdown to be with a resurrected Jenova with all of her true power that she used to fight the ancient(cetra) 2000 years ago and even more powerful

It could be possible, but I see them revisiting and messing up the X story first, and then head over to Final Fantasy VII. Though the plot may feel quite similar to Crisis Core, if Genesis is back. Since he will probably be trying to recreate "Loveless", once again, specially since in that secret ending in Dirge of Cerberus, he says:

 

"is not yet time for slumber"

 

Which means the recreation of Loveless, should still be in the 4th Act, letting a space for Genesis to finish the 5th Act. Which also fits with what the Crisis Core Ultimania says, that he is back to "protect the planet", fitting the 4th and the whole 5th act of Loveless.

Yeah, I see JENOVA as the main primary antagonist as well :].

there are too much FFVII and XIII  side things anyway, so I hope no more sequel to vii

as for X-2 was horrible, so  unless it's a prequel  that shows braska,auron and jecht journey(what IMO a side game to ffx should have be instead x-2)

IMO square should quit make ff after XV, and instead  a new game series.
