Man I cannot wait for Monoloth Soft's X, Bayonetta 2, Kingdom Hearts III, Final Fantasy XV, Persona 5, and Tales of Zestiria. My body is ready for all of these games. Who says that JRPG's are starting to die out!?

To be honest, the only console JRPGs I'll be getting this generation (That have been shown, anyway) are X and KHIII. Handheld games, however, are a different story...

i dunno. from the trailer it looks to be a lot darker than P4. like persona 2 but i stayed away from that one becouse of how dark it looked. love persona 3 and 4 tho! persona is my 3rd favorite video game franchise! ^_^

I'm all for dark- 3 was dark but bland (especially that month when you had nothing to do) while 4 had amazing characters and a hooking plot- if 5 is dark like 2 and 3 but with characters and a plot on par with 4 then it will indeed be godly to say the leastAlso if they can top the way to summon Personas from 3 I will be astonished- nothing is cooler than pulling the trigger of a gun-shaped evoker to your head in order to fight

I truly love JRPGs. Heck, my top 3 games (Tales of the Abyss, Rune Factory 4, and Persona 4) are all JRPGs. I'm glad this year is chock full of them, and hopefully I'll actually be able to play one or two...seeing as most of these are for the PS3, a console I don't have.

KH3 and FFXV up in this bitch.

ive only played 3 and 4 and there both amazing. but 2 looks a bit too dark. i also loved the charicters in both but mostly P4. i like P4 a bit more, but just by barely. should i try P2?

Tales of Zestiria looks sweet! And like any other on this forum I'm incredibly excited for Kingdom hearts III.

I dunno- I never played either of 2's games xDPersona 2 is two games- the first being Innocent Sin and the second Eternal Punishment

Bayonetta 2 isn't really an RPG (it's more a hack and slash/action game like DmC), but it'll be a great game nonetheless... Jealous of people with Wii U's South Park TSoT will be the next great RPG, as well as the Witcher 3. (although neither are JRPGs)

Ok, FF XV, KH 2.5, KH3, MOTHER 4, Persona 5(possibly, if its for PS3).

I'm looking forward to the JRPG-inspired Ubisoft game Child of Light as well as X, Ragnarok Odyssey Ace, Kingdom Hearts III, Final Fantasy XV... well those are the ones off the top of my head any ways. I'm sure there are others.

 

 

Plus I got a backlog, I already have Xenoblade Chronicles, my second playthrough of The Last Story, Bravely Default, Earthbound, replaying the second Golden Sun and Sword of Mana to get through

I really should play one and then move on to the next instead of having playing a bunch at the same time
