February 25, 201412 yr Well... as I played every FF Main numbered with the exceptions of XII, XIV and LR. let me give you advice. Yes it it. For the main point of NO SAVE POINTS IN DUNGEONS this is not a trouble unless you are in the crystal tower near the end, when you need to cross 3 dungeons and many bosses before get to the final boss and if you die you need to restart all over again... u.u. Despite this, certain bosses are easy others are a truly pain in the ass. So level up is the key. Have fun
February 25, 201412 yr I've actually heard it's II that's the hardest, due to the toughness of monsters, extremely high encounter rate, and leveling mechanics that aren't (to my knowledge) found anywhere else in the franchise. I hear III is up there in difficulty, but saying II is the most difficult seems to be more common.
