Heroes of Excalibur: Honors Age (RP)

Posted

Okay guys lets start!

In the beginning of time in the world of Ariena

There was a legend of a battle between a great warrior in the heavens

and a great darkness.

Wielding the holy blade Excalibur..

The warrior defeated the darkness

and scattered its body into 7 different orbs of darkness in Ariena

The great warrior also scattered 7 pieces of the Excalibur into the world of Ariena

In case the darkness should rise again.

A great rip was opened in the sky of Ariena

What seemed like monsters escaped from the sky

This day was known to some as the Darkest Hour

Because many monsters destroyed and killed humans

and set up empires to rule the nations

To others, this day was know as The Great Enlightenment

Because many monsters lived among humans and taught them advanced magical abilties

This brought upon a time between the old ways and newer ways of doing things

Now, 300 years later,

The Dark Ones, or the monsters whose forefathers set up dark empires have and still ruled the nations.

However, while the odds are against the humans and Holy Ones. (The ones who lived peacefully among the humans)

Recently, a piece of the Excalibur has been discovered, but not claimed yet

This could be a big turnover for the humans and Holy Ones.

Soon, the humans and Holy Ones set out on an adventure to retrieve the 7 parts of the Excalibur

And while they are doing that,

In the shadows, some of the Dark Ones are looking for the 7 orbs of darkness

While others are looking to destroy the Excalibur itself.

The tide of this RP is up to you

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

No Godmodding

No killing off someone else's character without their consent

Keep the romance PG15 (You know what I mean lol)

You may only control up to 3 characters

You are only a human in one location. Don't go somewhere whenever something bad happens in that location on the excuse of "I sense something" (Super long rule but it happens smh)

Have Fun!

(If I forgot any other rule, I might sneak it in there)

I'll start.

It's been about 3 months since a piece of Excalibur, specifically the tip of the blade, has been discovered in a far-off portion of the world called Bradun. It hasn't been found or claimed up until now. Many even doubt the omens and signs that point to it's location. Either way, the area was covered in ice and no normal human or "monster" could get there, or so Titus was taught. Titus Sage sat in his seat in Arlolin Magic Academy and sighed. He was late yet again. However, instead of pondering about how late he was, he opened his book to review notes about command magic. He was a general wizard meaning that he could learn all types of magic. He was said to be called one of the best ice magicians in the academy because of his expertise in ice magic. What Titus really aspired to be was in Carmaerd's Honors Magic Academy. That is when magicians from all around the world gather for 4 months, learn advanced magic, and end the 4 months with a tournament. In order to go there, however, he had to pass a castle exam that no one knows about.

As Titus drifted away in his thoughts, he snapped back to reality. He needed to start his adventure fast. That meant that he had to get better in magic. Titus read over his notes once more.

As Ken watched Rei dance in the air, he became a little interested in her fighting style. He then saw her cloak signifying who she was. "Igirai'kei Jala-Kalipar!" Ken says. Ken becomes engulfed in a flaming dragon and by using wind and barrier command magic, he not only boosts his flaming dragon's speed, but the clash was almost equivalent to a sword hitting a flaming shield.

(If you don't mind Oathkeeper..)

As the two clash, a loud crash drew the attention of countless panicking townsmen and women to the skies. The clash created a mini flaming vortex in the sky. Ken landed a chapel's steeple. The sweltering heat from the earlier burning blurred vision as the flames from below grew bigger. "I've actually wanted to fight you for a while now. You have a name for yourself back in our kingdom. However, right now, you're regarded as a B-rank so I honestly don't know what's so special about you," Ken commented.

Titus thought about it. HE, a beginner, wanted to go and fight these Dark Ones who were strong beyond his imagination. Titus shook his head as he saw Rin running to a stranded boy. It was the same boy he saw earlier.... The same one that he felt the darkness from... Titus shook that thought out of his head as well and ran up to the boy. "Hey are you hurt?" Titus asked the boy. Where's Lyra when you need her? She should be in Carmaerd, Titus thought to himself.

"It's definitely here," Seth said to Kyo. The two were in the castle's garden. The air was unusually thick with light mana. "Sir. If it is here, wouldn't the light mana negate it?" Kyo asked respectfully. "That's why the light mana is strongest here. But fear not," Seth says as he focuses his mana. Seth reaches for an invisible object on his back. "I'll take care of it," Seth says. There was something eeire in the air. The wind blew Kyo back a little as he said those words. "Jis'trah Angus Raigeki. Tou'ham," Seth shouted. Suddenly, a giant greatsword appeared in his hand. The blade was glowing green and the rest of the sword was black. The hilt had an unusual green gem on it. "Divine Sword Orichalcum," Seth says. "The sword of magic's demise. It's a little early to bring it out right sir?" Kyo asks. "It can't be helped," Seth replies.

With skill she battled, and floated apart from the flaming warrior.

"B class? No matter. Even strength must bow to wisdom. That was the first lesson my master taught me." Her swords set into attack lositions, she readied herself. "Nor do I fight alone. I have the will of my master, the Holy One who took upon him the name of Gawain. Your kind is what caused such hatred to exist, and I have chosen to chase the darkness away in brilliant light." The wind whipped up faster, fanning the flames. "I don't care if you are Endymion. Your blood will soak my roses, and my cross will mark where you fall."

She went with a reckless charge that she would immediately backpedal upon any movement. The words ofnmagic for Rose Storm were on her lips; fire would burn them, but her roses wojld burn black smoke, effectively creating a smokescreen she cojld control with the wind for prime misdirection.

Izanagi never spoke. That was what made it terrible. Izanagi was just a presence in Kazuhiro's mind, something that he knew was there, but could never communicate with. Either that was because Izanagi was mute, or the Dark One simply did not wish to speak with Kazuhiro.

As the headache persisted and gradually deepened; Kazuhiro, amongst the massive and  frantic uproar, Kazuhiro knocked into another person, one who seemed to be running off in a completely different direction than the other civilians.

"S-Sorry.." Kazuhiro murmured, holding his head as he glanced at the other. He recognized him, Kazuhiro realized. The person he had bumped into had certainly been in the Academy not too long ago.

While glad they didn't want to kill him, Joshua still wasn't exactly pleased being referred to as he was. He turned red though, blushing, and knowing that they had already seen him, and it would be too late to leave. "...Don't...call me 'little'...." He growled, still shyly, though. He shook his head to Titus, then, "...No...I'm not hurt." He felt somehow intimidated by Titus, as if he knew...what he was.Ancitif chose not to do anything for the moment, and let everything fall where they may. Still though, it had an essence of malicious and devious ardor.

As Chase took off towards the city being ravaged by the Dark Ones, Lyssa sighed. Dark Ones... and powerful ones from the sound of it. She focused, and her Academy uniform switched back to the combat boots, ripped skinny jeans, and blue tank top she had been wearing previously. She needed to get to that city, and start eliminating the threat. If she didn't do it now, she might not get another chance. She sheathed her blade, and holstered her pistol. Lyssa was glad that at least a few others would be making their way towards the city to help. Maybe they'd be of some use as a distraction. Specifically, the time magic user. That was a rare magic for certain. She had also managed to spot two other students that hadn't gone along with the evacuation pack. Theoretically, she wouldn't have to worry about them. Either they could take care of themselves, or they couldn't and there would be one less searcher for Excalibur. But she needed to stop stalling, and get going towards the city. She turned herself into a gas, and flew with the wind, and reformed atop the chapel, behind Ken. She kept her presence hidden long enough to hear a small bit of the banter going on between him and a girl that was attacking him. The girl was being reckless, a charge like that would present multiple oppurtunities for Ken to kill her. That meant Lyssa would have to step in if she wanted this to stay a two on one. So she did. First off, Lyssa shot the Dark One twice in the back, before launching herself towards him. She latched onto his back with her knees, and used her upper body to hack and slash at the Ken's back. It was a vicious attack, and never one she would try in a simple duel, but with the element of surprise and another combatant, it was a risk she could afford.

"Sorry..." Rin sighed.

Suzuki looked down at the boy.

"Well you can at least tell us your name, and we might be able to help you get out of here, however...Titus and Rin here want to fight." Suzuki explained.

"Let the kid do what he wants, Suzuki." Rin snapped.

"My name's...Joshua...." He muttered, looking at Titus and Rin. He's felt far too judgmental with Ancitif in him but he could already see...the two couldn't handle any of the Dark Ones. Not as they were...at least.

(Sorry bout being gone im back though)

Fiore was heading back to the kingdom when he saw it in flames. His eyes widened "uh! No! The library!" He yelled before heading into a full on das for the building which was the sanctuary of Fiore. The place where he learned everything and even though he couldnt find anything about his magic to a specific detail he still enjoyed it calmness. He drew his blade as he ran. His coat flapping behind him. As he ran he looked for something that could cause the flames to ignite. He was looking for what he expected to be a dark one.

"Come! Little girl!" Ken shouted at the girl he was originally fighting.  He couldn't help but notice the rose petals she had summoned. Rose petals? Ken asked himself confusingly. Ken shook his head of any doubts or second thoughts. This was a fight, after all.

Ken dived downwards before the bullets hit him. It was as if he had known that they were coming but instead, it was only luck. She should follow me. That's when I'll make my attack, Ken thought to himself. Just then, Ken felt as if the air above was pierced in an attempt to assassinate. "Gunpowder," Ken assumed. "It looks like another one's popped up," Ken said to himself. He counted himself lucky because he would have never reacted in time if he had stayed up there. He was only playing with them, after all. Ken looked upwards to see another girl in the same spot he had been before he decided to dive down. "She's a sneaky one," Ken said. It was a good thing he leaped seconds before the second girls' attack. Had he not, he would have been fighting an unseen enemy. He didn't like fighting unseen enemies.

Ken stopped his fall by using Jalar'en (Or Airwalk/Flight) and stood on the air. He was fighting two enemies now, however he now kept an eye open for anyone else.

"Nice to meet you Joshua. My name is Titus!" Titus said. He now looked at the destruction that was before them. There was no way he could compete with them. They were all Wizard class! "Rin, Suzuki. Lets get away from here. We need to survive to fight like these guys!" Titus said as he led the way to the underground tunnels to Carmaerd.

The Orichalcum glowed brighter as Seth held it in the air. "This is it," Seth says as he stabs the Orichalcum in the ground. A large earthquake followed and green and yellow colored lightning decorated the garden. The light mana faded as if it was being hidden under a box or blanket. "Kyo. Go for it," Seth said. Kyo nodded as he made his way to the center of the garden. "Oh great one who rules in the depths of hell. The god that once brought destruction to the stars and skies. Awake and Arise in the beauty of your shadow!" Kyo chanted. His right hand turned black as he threw it on the ground. The ground in front of him shook and gave way as if it was being sucked into a deep pit. An orb of blackish color emerged from the hole. "So it isn't a legend," Seth said. "Looks like Emirkol has the upper hand in the world. Finding something like this is almost godlike," Kyo replied. "Yes and if this exists, then....

Excalibur exists too..." Seth said realizing his new mission.

Rin made sure Joshua was behind the three as they ran into the tunnels.

"I told you it was a good idea to go down here anyway." Rin protested.

"So you were right, Rin." Suzuki added, smiling slightly.

(Short post, kill me Oblivion.)

The evasive manuevers didnt throw Rei off. She did a barrel roll, charging. She feinted it and pulled out in a trail of roses, a smokescreen that she hid withing.

Thorn roses were thrown at Ken, and then followed by more bullets from Rei.

"I may be little more then a child to you, but I still am Raziel, my my crosses of rose will always be there when one needs to know that you can die."

She charged.

"I don't get what's with this kingdom and gunpowder! No wonder they lost to us," Ken said pulling at his robe. "Ken!" Kyo shouted calling him. Ken stopped where he was and as if it were in a second, he was in the garden where Kyo was. "You can't call me on short notice like that," Ken said out of breath. The flash speed spell he had to do on short notice knocked the wind out of him. "Ken. We're done here. Our mission is completed. We have raided and destroyed this place in the name of Emirkol. Now our forces of 4,000 should be here shortly to conquer and rebuild this kingdom in our name," Seth said taking the orb of darkness before the three. The orb gave Seth a surge of power and it took all he had within him to stop his adrenaline from flowing and killing everyone else in Arlolin. "So that's the fabled Orb of Darkness. All we need to find is 6 more and we can accomplish our goal," Ken said. "Precisely," Seth replied as his sword disappeared. "Each member of that army is at the skill level of wizard class. No one in this kingdom should be able to fight all 4000 and survive," Kyo laughed. The three slowly made their way out of the kingdom unafraid of any sneak attacks. They were unstoppable together. Especially with Seth among the two.

Titus walked around. The tunnels weren't what one would imagine "clean". In fact, the waters under their feet were muddy and looked disgusting. "Is this really the way to Carmaerd?" Titus asked Mr. Nelson leading the way. "I've traversed these tunnels from since I was a kid. Of course I would know where I'm going," Mr. Nelson replied. Titus looked back at Rin, Suzuki, and Joshua. Titus somehow felt a strange connection to something within Joshua. Titus thought of it as his personality or that friendly aura one gives off when he/she first meets someone. It was, however, dark. Titus shook himself from his thoughts. He's been thinking too much lately.

"Isn't there a faster way Mr. Nelson?" Titus asked. "Well. There is. But it's dangerous," Mr. Nelson replied summoning some of his mana. Without asking if Titus and the others were ready or not, Mr. Nelson punched into the rock walls surrounding them. "Terraforming Mud Slide," Mr. Nelson called out. The water beneath them turned to slippery mud. It seemed like some of the rocks were being turned into mud that slid down into the water by some water magic. Titus knew what kind of magic it was, however. It was called Lastow Magic. It allowed the user to use magic without an incantation or command with the use of doubled mana to execute the technique. Unless the specific technique is mastered, one would always have to use doubled the magic for one technique. It was made by a clan in Lastow (on map) that Titus read about a while back. In this case, it seemed like Mr. Nelson was unfazed - showing that he had mastered that specific technique.

Titus' foot slipped off of the mud as he slid down on the water. He quickly drew his staff and casted Shirak which turned the muddy water into a thin sheet of ice making it a more speedy trip to Carmaerd.

Rei screamed in frustration as Ken disappeared. She sheathed her swords on her back, moving to the ground. She dispelled her darkness spell and hid her cloak in her bag. She quickly ran off as fast as she could. Another shooter. She had to blend.

So she ironicly ended up going down the same place as Titus and Co, and started speinting down the tunnel.

Chase held his head, looking up at the young man who had clumsily run straight into him, never placing himself at fault. “Jegus, watch where you're going! I don’t have time for this.” Chase stared at the boy and felt a weird sensation in his presence, as if he were someone he should keep an eye on, much like the other girl he kind of just left in the gym. Another thing that made him stand out what the fact that he was wearing an Academy uniform. (“Another guy who supposedly goes to this school, and yet I don't recognise them… There’s a pattern forming here…”) Chase looked at the boy with a frown. He seemed to be pretty confused about what was going on and seemed lost in his opinion. (“So, there’s a suspicious guy who I shouldn't leave alone and I need to get going to my apartment, what do I do? …”) Chase scratched his head, looking over in the direction of the boy, who would not know it thanks to his reflective shades. “Hey you, I'm in kind of in a hurry and it’s pretty dangerous to go out there on your own. Stick with me; I'll lead us out of the city.” Chase said, revealing only half the truth of what he was planning on doing, he then got up and put his sword over one of his shoulders. (“When I get home, I'll need to find my bro’s AR. There's a good chance that he'll know more about this situation.”) Chase looked back at the boy and held a hand out to him. "My name's Chase, what's your name?"

Rin imminently grabbed onto Suzuki as the water turned into ice.

"This isn't that fun..." she sighed, sliding down the ice.

"It's rather cold actually." Suzuki added.

They both sighed in unison, Rin shaking her head. The class would get their faster however, thanks to Titus.

Seth, and his other pathetic followers, well...followed him, and left. Morgan loomed down over where they just were, along with Malebolge. "It seems we now know the location...of an orb of darkness." She smiled. Malebolge did too, but much more toothy and sinister. "...Hehehe."

Joshua's timidity and shyness seemed to just add on to his social awkwardness, anxiety, and fear. He trembled of coldness, and of just about everything else. He had direct eye contact with Titus, but drifted his eyes away and broke it immediately. He had the slightest joy of streaking across the ice like nothing, but the ice was of muddy water, making it much more grotesque.

Titus and the others slid down the tunnel and was out in no time. The tunnel lead to a river a little ways outside of Carmaerd. However, the big kingdom could be seen well over the masses of trees and forestry around them. Titus and Mr. Nelson were the first to swim out of the river and catch their breaths near near-by trees. The ride was rough and they were tired. "There it is," Titus' face beamed at the sight of the large kingdom. This was his dream ever since he was little. Even Lyra, his friend, should be there! Titus was excited as he looked over at the others who were also catching their breaths.

The reverie of those looking out was broken by a loud girly scream.

"THIS IS NOT FUN THIS IS NOT FUN OH MY GOD OH MY GOD"

Wandering around, nothing had happened.

Then ice.

She slid down, screaming. Tunnels and ice and OH MY GOD PEOPLE.

She rolled and ended up in a heap, face planted ass up and looking pathetic.

"Why me..."

((If I mistook how easy it was to wander that way, please let me know.))

Joshua silently cringed, not at the sight of Carmaerd, as it was actually pretty, but at Rei. It may have been too quick of a judgment, but it wasn't just to her. Joshua and Ancitif had both placed judgements on Dark Ones, Holy Ones, and humans alike. It was just Joshua who tried to hide it. So far, Rei appeared spontaneously, irritatingly loud and clumsy. But still, that went away from his mind in very little time. He sighed. (I can't believe...we had to leave home so quickly. They don't even seem...fazed....)

(Gotcha)

Titus, hearing screaming, looked back at the tunnel to see Rei jump out. "Looks like she was surprised by the ice," Titus said to himself. Titus then looked at Joshua. He ignored the ominous presence he brought with him and looked back at Carmaerd. Though his home was destroyed and he should feel hurt or disheartened, the sight of his long-term dream overcame that sadness with joy.

Mr. Nelson looked back at Rei. "It looks like we're going to split up once we get to Carmaerd. I'm going to enlist Titus into the Honors Mages Program and search for ways of getting Arlolin back," Mr. Nelson said to both Rei and Joshua. Mr. Nelson felt the presence of both persons and could tell that both were already Wizard class - well Rei should already have her license.

Rei had her license; her schoolwork had been to get her intl a much higher rank, and using the basics as a refresher course was herplan. It had gone ok.

She stood and dusted off her clothes. "Uhm. Hi." She blushed. "Sorry to drop in." She actually had never talked to anyone...and waant sure who Titus was.

So she just stayed in the back.

Rin and Suzuki stared at the kingdom blankly.

"Hey Suzuki, do you think we should maybe get collars now so we don't get lost?" Rin asked sarcastically.

"The place is really huge Rin, even though you are joking, I would put a collar on you." Suzuki said with a smirk.

As soon as she heard Mr. Nelson, Rin sighed. Titus was like the little showoff of the class, and it actually made her mad.
