level up?

Tried that, monsters are too weak.

Leveling up, getting better equipment, just the basic stuff any RPG player knows.

It's not, massive difference between the monsters outside the cave and inside it.

oh do you mean that the monsters outside the cave are too weak, which cave are you in then? usually I will level up until I get bored, going to somewhere else with chocobo then try again haha

Yeah, like the second one. I just met the king and got the fourth party member.

What's your party members job?

Ummm, grinding for experience just like any RPGs and have strategies???

I'm pretty sure that there are some enemies before the final dungeon that gives a decent amount of experience

Or if there is an enemy that can generate monsters like the Puppeteer in FFIV in the Tower of ZotBabil, you can grind it until you get the amount of experience you need

1.He's in the begining

2.FF 1-10  don't need grinding if you fight even half of the encounters you get, and get to know what to do(leave  8 since not leveling up is actally good in 8).

3.He probaly got problems with jobs and set his jobs a little wrong, orand didn't got the best equipment and magic he can get from where he is.

1he talks as if he's reached the final dungeon

2I meant if he was under leveled and that's why I mentioned examples similar to the Puppeteer in FF4's Tower of ZotBabel

3that's what he gets when he misses treasure chests, ignore shops and not setting his job classes carefully

Some enemies are easier to defeat with a specific job.Even though changing jobs is kind of punishing in this game for some reason, you have to do it once in a while and make sure you explore every town to find hidden chests.

Haven't finished it, but what does that have to do with what I said?

Oh hell the Djinn....

Well, the monsters around are zombie type if I remember right.

First of all try leveling up in Sasune´s castle tower, where you get the wight Slayer. It´s a holy type sword so it can be helpful against the undead monsters, also daggers helps. DONT WASTE  the holy arrows until the cave.

When in the cave, get some antidotes and potions, and keep your magic only for emergencies.

this is the first dungeon... deal with it xD

It's the hardest game in the series.

Then In which cave are you? The sealed cave? the mytril cave or the crystal cave?

The one the King told me to go to.

The one the King told me to go to.

Alright it´s the sealde cave. Return to the castle of the king. (Sasune castle). in one of the two towers you´ll need to climb up there to get a sword called the wight slayer, also a bunch of holy arrows. But inside are enemies, just like in the sealed cave they are zombie type, and that means cure spam time!. Dark Eyes and Zombies are undead, so a cast of the Cure spell distributed across a party of undead + a physical attack by one of the other charcters generally means dead monsters which generally means the fights should be over with in one round. You can also level grind here.

After you get the sword and the arrows, return to the sealed cave, equip the sword to Ingus or Luneth and keep the heal spell to Arc or refia. Good luck

And what do I do in the cave?

And what do I do in the cave?

The best you can do fight and cross all over until the boss room. xD With those two weapons it will be a piece of cake. Oh and teach someone Ice, you will need it! :D

What boss room? I've explored the whole cave, there's nothing in there.....

Ice? I don't have that....

Let´s recap don´t we? You were given the task by the king also a raft, you crossed the little lake and entered the cave, you crossed thecave until the path was closed. Then you checked that little stone which shines when you make a close up... right? the key to keep going.

Those shiny things are so hard to see....
