Okay I am not entirely sure where the firetruck this thread is supposed to go but this is a confusion I REALLY needed clearing.

 

Suppose I was born on 18th April, 1999, (okay fine this might be my real birthdate)

 

How old would I be this April? If I was "15-years-old" does that mean I've lived 14 years or am I working my way to 16 years, so then I've lived 15 years? THIS BUGS THE SHIT OUT OF ME SOMEBODY firetruckING HELP ME NAO

If things start to seem less fun, you're getting older. So in April, things will be 15 times less fun than they were when you were born.

By your 15th birthday you will have lived for 15 whole years. After your birthday you begin the 16th year. A birthday basically marks the completion of one whole year of your life and then the next one begins

The day after your birthday you will be 15 years + 1 day. I don't know where people are getting the "entering your 15th year on your 15th birthday" thing. This seems obvious, but apparently not for some people if this thread has been going for 2 pages.

When you turn 1 year old, it's not the start of your first year.

15 years old means that 15 years ago, you were born. Therefore, you have lived 15 years.

Um forgive my slightly harsh honesty but I don't see a conundrum here so I am a bit concerned that one is being made of it by so many people. 

On April 18th you will have officially been alive for 15 years. May 18 you will have officially been alive for 15 years and one month. Etc.
