So, as a lot of my fellow North American Pokemon fans know, Nintendo's giving away free copies of either Pokemon X or Pokemon Y if you register a 3DS and a few certain games on Club Nintendo. Now, I got really excited. I can get a free copy of the alternate version of my favorite 3DS version? Well, turns out, if you've already registered your 3DS and the game, then you aren't eligible. This is just... dumb. I'm a loyal Nintendo fan, and always will be, but this is really frustrating. I registered my 3DS and Animal Crossing on the day that I got them, so now I can't get the free game. It'd be nice if those of us loyal fans who already registered could get the games, too.

yeah that is pretty damn stupid

This makes me glad that i didn't registaer my 3DS even though I bought it the day the system launched. I will; be getting my free version of X even though it's the digital version. But still, free is free.

Fool. Reminds me of highschool. The ones that didn't do what they were suppose to do get rewarded.

Honestly I don't see it as that big of a deal. If you think about they're not really getting it for free. Obviously the promotion is to draw in new customers who probably don't have a 3DS etc. With that being said the new customers are paying for the new system, the games to qualify for the promotion, and any extra accessories they may want or need. All that can range 200 hundred plus for a 40 dollar game. Just because we are loyal customers doesn't mean we're entitled to everything.

p.s This is the one time procrastination has paid off xD

I haven't registered my 3DS because the code behind it weared off. I can't find the box either, assuming it has a copy of the code. e_e

So I'm not able to go out and buy Yoshi's New Island and register its code for this because I already registered my 2DS? Oh well...maybe next time. xD

Why?You already have a copy of X&Y,this offer is for people who never bought the game

I haven't registered my 3DS yet and I won't honestly, one copy is enough for me

This offer is obviously for people who never got the game and they clearly said that in the trailer

We don't need to make a big deal of everything that happens
