LIGHTNING RETURNS posts 1.06 million copies sold so far not counting digital sales

Posted

LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII has sold 1.06 million copies worldwide (as of February 22) so far on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It's a disappointing amount so far but it doesn't include digital sales.

Well, for all the 1.06 million people that have bought the game, I say this: "You have made a great choice and are playing an epic game.  Please give it the recognition it deserves!" :)

Digital sales probably total 10.

It would total much more than that.

Alright, 12-15.

You're not funny.

Sora'sMum is a beautiful person

On the topic at hand, the game was pretty great so it's worth it in my book

Is that the shipped number or the sold one cuz there is a difference between shipped units and sold units

And quite honestly, the game doesn't deserve to reach a million units,it's just selling on the power of the final fantasy brand

Sold.

Have you even finished the game? It's a good game.

There are plenty of people who like the XIII games.

Dude I'm almost finishing it,and the only fun I had with this game was the Dead Dunes and the battle with Caius and Snow

Everything else bored me to freakin sleep

I loved XIII-2 only that game was very good

Guess you definitely wouldn't like MMOs then.

Not everyone is going to like it, Square Enix has admitted that but there's enough people that do.

Dude MMOs play nothing like that

the closest entry in the FF series to an MMO aside from 11 and 14 is FF12

and in MMOs you have more than 1 way to grind, not just from sidequests and in MMOs the sidequests had variety, here it's just delivery boy or find a bunch of people

Alright, but it doesn't change the fact that a lot of people do like it.

This says otherwise

it got scores that are even less than XIII and XIII-2

A lot of people do like it, you can't say just because the average score on Metacritic is average that a lot of people don't like it. A lot of people like it, and a lot don't. This is normal. You can say this about pretty much every major game.
