3 reasons why Igor might not be in Persona 5:

1. Igor's Japanese voice actor died

2. Igor looks like he's at a very old age so he might pass his legacy to someone else.

3. It's kinda time for a change but we still need someone with a long nose.

It's not that I don't like Igor, it's just that I think there needs to be a change for the Velvet Room, if it's in P5.

igor, you will be missed. i hope persona 5 is an awesome game! it looks really dark tho. i REALLY hope its as good if not better than 3 and 4. plus igor is almost a staple now. whenever i think of the velvet room i think of him.

I feel like Igor isn't exactly someone who dies. He just seems like an enigmatic immortal type. I'd honestly rather that he appeared in the next game, because seeing anyone else may not have that same 'fit' for the curator of the Velvet Room.

I seriously doubt they would eliminate one of the most iconic characters from the game. It's more likely they will either use old voice clips or just find a replacement and deal with the hate from fans. Igor's age has nothing to do with anything due to the fact that none of the residents of the room are mortal.

1.True but they could find another voice actor to voice him

2.True Igor is old but it's not like hes actually human he was created by Philemon or a servant of him anyway even though they seem to have removed that from Persona starting with 3

3.It just won't be the same

They could always find a similar voice actor to do his voice, so I don't think the voice actor dying wouldn't do much of a difference.

Well after looking in the SMT wiki, Igor is a servant of Philemon, and is supposed to be some kind of "doll" created by Philemon to serve him, so he shouldn't be able to pass on his task unless Philemon order it so.

 

So unless the Persona team of Atlus, want to change things up  a bit, I don't think Igor will stop being the host of the Velvet Room.

He's going to be replaced by his brother, Rogi

Igor's been in the games since the first Persona. They would never just get rid of him like that. lol

However, neither Elizabeth nor Margaret are found in these trailers. Not even Theodore. So Igor isn't going to be going anywhere, and there will most likely be a new voice actor.
