instead of making it a full story line game where you are a character, they could make it like ffxi, an online game! after all, they have done it before, you could choose a class based on the type of abilities you would use, and you could customize your armor color, and based on your class, your armor would be a different shape

Nah. It would lose the KH feel.

That works best for FF, but not KH.

yeah, thats true, plus it would take a lot of work and time away from the story plot

it could be a single player game with co op.like gears of war kinda.you get to play as 4 characters,get 4 friends,and there you go.not a huge mmo but just a multiplayer experience.it could be just for xbox...though id be disappointed with square enix if it was.

I just read the title and knew it was an MMO idea. It's ALWAYS an MMO idea to use the Keyblade Wars. But a series with such a complicated backstory as the Kingdom Hearts franchise can't just go off and create an MMO. It just wouldn't work.

 

FF11 and 14 could do it because the story was simpler, and there weren't any specific laws of order and the like to follow. It didn't matter who was who, because all you do is go around doing quests, just like other MMOs. This doesn't apply to KH.

 

Wielders are meant to uphold world order and keep balance in the universe. They can't go around performing good deeds for munny and items; whether it's the right thing to do or not, it doesn't fit their job description. They have a higher sense of responsibility than that.
