Akame Ga Kill a highly popular Manga that came out in 2010, finally has it's own anime adaptation for this year. Here is the teaser for it.

Akame ga Kill! (アカメが斬る! Akame ga Kiru!?, literally meaning "Red Eye Killer") is a Japanese shōnen manga series written by Takahiro and illustrated by Tetsuya Tashiro. It started serialization in Square Enix's Gangan Joker in March 2010. The story focuses on Tatsumi, a young villager who travels to the Capital to raise money for his home only to discover a strong corruption in the area. The assassin group Night Raid recruits the young man to help them in their fight against the Empire to finish its corruption.

I don't even know why it's making me so mad. It's just outrageous to me how much they're butchering their Names. Later on there'll be Attacks and other things with german names. When they firetruck those up too I'll probably quit watching the Anime.The sad thing is that they took the localized names in the Manga Fan translation too as they were revealed. It was a major downgrade, srsly. Some just don't even make sense to me anymore. Shura -> Syura. Maybe it's because english isn't my native language, but this goes far beyond my understanding of stupidity.I mean Esdese into Esdeath is kinda logical. Even if it doesn't sound that great IMO, it makes sense regarding her role in the Story.But then again, they changed Rabac into Lubbock. I... I'm going to cry now.

Neither do I, it's just making me extremely mad. It looks to me like the localization crew is a bunch monkeys, not smart enough to get the easiest translations right.

I'm concerned that the remaining episodes would end up becoming filler, or it may end up pulling a Tokyo Ghoul (in Firaga's words, a Deadman Wonderland). I haven't read the manga yet, but I checked the episode titles and the chapter titles and we are catching up very quickly to the current manga chapter.

Me too. I prefer if they pull a TG ending rather than take a Soul Eater route and end it with a filler.

 

We have 5 episodes left, so we just gonna have to wait and see.

Remember Blue Exoricst? How it went in a complete swerve during that middle arc, same thing happened at Episode 20 for Akame Ga Kill. You may have already seen my raged status about this already, but yea I love Akame Ga Kill and I was so pumped for the anime adaptation I mean I made this thread lol, I'm with animes changing a few things here and there in order to stay in budget, but they really skipped like 20+ chapter of important scenes, plot, and character development, which makes me highly disappointed.

 

Don't let my post discourage you or anything, honestly I'm just venting out as of now. If you enjoy the anime so far and you still will, that's great! Don't let me hinder you on your enjoyment, again I am just a bit disappointed.

Honestly, I'm swaying more in your direction here. I know that things have been skipped, and honestly, bad times might be ahead for the anime. I just hope the anime team is smart and can at least wrap up the show in a way that I won't hate it by the time I start reading the manga.

I just got into the anime last week, and I absolutely love it... But after hearing about how it completely went off track from the manga, I'm becoming a little disappointed. I'm probably going to go and read the manga soon, although I'm considering holding off until the anime is finished so I can still enjoy these last few episodes. It's always sad to see this type of thing happen with an anime adaptation.

For those disappointed in anime ending and worried about the manga, don't fret. The artist of the manga stated that the manga is far from over and to look forward to the new chapter of AGK on Dec. 22.

 

We probably see AGK hit the 100 chapter section, so that's good enough for me. The only problem? MONTHLY RELEASES ;_;

I haven't read the manga yet, but from what I've heard, they were right in discarding some of those chapters. The clown and the dog couldn't possibly be aired, and frankly, I wouldn't want to watch that at all.

 

I suppose they couldn't avoid the anime catching up with the manga because of that. They ended up making it a Full Metal Alchemist ending, where it's an anime original ending.

 

While some people were disappointed with the ending, I saw no problems with it, except for

Leone's Death. She was shot several times with a pistol that looked like only had 1 chamber. I felt like she was killed just for the sake of it, even more than the other deaths.

The eleventh volume of Akame Ga Kill! has confirmed that starting on volume 12, the series will enter the last arc.

I'd get it if it wasn't for the fact that I always get a bad feeling someone's going to look in and get me in trouble for having something that violent. I'd love to support the series, but I get a bad feeling it wouldn't end well if I buy the manga now.
