What if Isa was to become a Keyblade wielder in KH3 or a future saga?

Posted

So I'm pretty sure Lea will do literally anything to bring back Roxas, Isa, and Xion (If he even remembers her) which is why I think he turned to the light. Anyways, what if Lea saves Isa from Xehanort's wrath and maybe in the future saga's (when Lea is a Keyblade Master) he chooses Isa as his apprentice? Or Isa chooses to become one himself. Isa deserves so much more than just the enemy. I mean, he was Lea's childhood best friend. I don't know. Is this too far fetched?

Huh... didn't think about that...I'd personally like more proof, but it's a very interesting theory!

It not a theory the only part that is really theory is when Siax was norted. However in game canon highly suggests that Isa and Lea were experimented on and norted before being split into Heartless and Nobody. Xemnas or Xehanort new once he norted the two and split them he would still need a way to track them and minister their progress. So theoretically he would have branded their bodies with the Recusant Sigil so that their bodies would bear it when they were reborn as nobodies. Hence the "As your flesh bears the sigil so your name shall be known as that of a recusant".

That just tells what the sigil means. I'd like to know how exactly he got it. That would tell a lot of info on whether or not Isa is willingly going with Xehanort's plans.

Young Xehanort explained that the Recusant Sigil was a way to moniter and track those who bear them. There is a reason why Xemnas changes their names to include an X. The ultimate goal was to convince the empty shells to renounce their sense of self and accept the identity Xemnas/Xehanort gave them. In other words to become recusant is to become a Xehanort. Its quite clear that Isa and Lea were victims of Xehanort's experiments. Based on the struggles he encountered with he knew that it takes time for the heart piece to take hold if it does at all. With that being said the vessel candidates had to tracked and monitered at all times. How do you think Xemans knew what Siax and Lea were doing the entire time they planned to overthrow him.

Lea & Isa are not friends anymore & neither of them seem to want go be. Saïx let jealousy & hate tear them apart. One of the things I want to see most in KH3 is Lea & Isa fight. If Isa has a keyblade, it will just make the battle that much more epic. Everyone knows keyblade battles are the most epic. This is going to be a Keyblade War, so there is no reason for Isa not to get one. Braig allowed Xehanort to make him a vessel, because he wanted a keyblade, that was the deal. Xehanort is a keyblade weilder, so if his heart is in you, you should have access to a keyblade. Idk about you guys, but to me me, best friend/brother rivalries make for the best fights, probably because they do or did care for each other. Saïx kills Axel in the novels, so I'd like to at least see a fight between them in the game. TEAM ISA/SAÏX!!!

I was kind of hoping it would be the other way round. Like in DDD when Isa jumps at Lea and the clash then Isa has this "get out of here, idiot!" look on his face. Doubt it means much, but a man can dream.

Isn't he already a keyblade wielder because he could call a Keyblade in his hand.

Isa wouldn't be suitable for a Keyblade in Kingdom Hearts 3, so I agree that in the next saga he could possibly wield one. There is always that possibility.  And well, I think he'd make a fine Keyblade Wielder because he certainly has the fighting chops going for him.  Only time will tell what happens to our fellow Luna Diviner. :)

I think you may be thinking of Lea? I've never seen Isa wield a keyblade.

Well I was thinking that Isa becomes a wielder at the very end of KH3, kinda like how Lea was announced in DDD. It would be a great way to kick off the next saga while still completing the current one.

I would rather have the Keyblade be something that eludes Isa. It makes sense for his character arc: he's obsessed with power and crawling to the top, but the most powerful weapon ultimately eludes him, because he doesn't really understand the power of the heart. He bases his decisions on a superficial understanding of who's in charge, rather than trusting in friendship and loyalty, and that's why he fails in the long run.
