Radiant Garden

Keyblade Academy

Indy made his way through the academy halls, glancing around at the rooms he passed by. I was told to meet with a teacher in the Gummi hangar... They said that there would be other students, too. What's so urgent that they'd call a few of us there? Is there something going on in other worlds...? Maybe they even have a mission for us... I've always wanted the opportunity to leave Radiant Garden, anyway... He thought to himself as he moved along, pondering what it is that he was ordered to meet there for.

He eventually reached the room, noticing that it was empty. "Hm... Well, I did try to get here early, anyway." He muttered, leaning against a wall. He appeared calm, but his mind was racing. Will I get to visit other worlds? Who else will I be with? Will I have a chance to see Allitt again...? He drifted into deep thought, not taking notice of his surroundings...

(And yes, the other students all received the orders, too.)

Indy

Indy watched as Ghost casually carried Rei into the palace, ignoring him and the others standing outside. "Well... If they can get in, we might as well join them." He shrugged, and opened the palace door. He was instantly greeted by the breathtaking architecture inside the building. He wanted to stay and sight-see, but shook his head. Mission first, exploring later. He made his way through the palace, hoping the others were following him instead of being distracted like he had been. After twisting and turning through the halls, he eventually found himself in the emperor's room. He joined Raidyn at the front, making it just in time to hear him talking with the emperor.

The emperor nodded in return to Zion. "I see. I wish you luck with that." He chuckled to himself, and turned back towards Raidyn. "Mulan is at a nearby camp, training new recruits for the imperial army. She might be willing to join you, however." He smiled.

Riku

"Hello, Gaku." Riku greeted the young student. "I heard that you and Master Sora already went over your mission." He admired his personal Gummi Ship. "I'm guessing you were planning on taking this one to the world they're currently stationed at, correct? It's true that it's all that we have here... However, you don't know where they are right now, do you?" He looked at the student questioningly, seemingly testing him.

Gaku looked at Master Riku, knowing that he is concerned about Gaku using the ship. But Riku should already know where Gaku is going. Of Course, Riku doesn't anything bad to happen to the ship, so it is proper to check on who is operating it, and for what purpose. "I'm heading for the Land of Dragons to meet up with my class. If I could borrow your ship, I can return it back with the others and ride along with the other students in their gummi ship. Is that all right Master Riku?"

Raidyn / Toshi

Toshi followed Indy without making a sound, but immediately piped up when she saw Raidyn.

"Raidyn! There you are!" She squeaked. Her voice was barely audible however, even more so after the Emperor told Raidyn where Mulan was, which had him estatic and completely focused on that single fact.

"Wow, really?! Cool! Thanks Mr. Emperor!" Raidyn said, shaking the elder's hand once more. He then breezed past all of his classmates and his teacher and headed for the door again.

"Can't stay and chat everyone. Now that I know where Mulan is, I gotta jet!" He said, exiting out the palace doors.

"Raidyn wa-... oh, darn it..." Toshi slumped, failing to stop her hyperactive teammate yet again.

(Joel went into the palace with the rest of the gang.)

"Geez, he needs to stop and smell the roses every now and then... or at least wait for us..." Joel said as Raidyn flew out of the chamber. "Guess we have to follow him, again. But first..." Joel walked up to the Emperor and knelt before his imperial presence. "Your Majesty... If you don't mind me bothering you with a question... Do you know where I- er, I mean, we can find any dragons? It is, after all, what this world is known for, and it would be a waste to not get to see a dragon during our travels."

(Lucas did the same as Joel. Sorry i havent posted lately, i've been getting a bit sidetracked.)

Lucas smiled in excitement after hearing Joel's question. "Yeah, we've been waiting for awhile now, your Majesty. It would greatly help us in our...Mission, if you will."

"Are you sure?" Ember asked Brooklyn, clearly concerned. "You don't seem very fine." She glanced up to spot Raidyn dashing off again. She smiled again. "Come now, you don't want to miss anything important do you?" She said, now trying to encourage him a bit. Somrene stood next to Toshi as they watched Raidyn keep going. "Handful isn't he?" The Son of Vincent said, talking to the shy girl. "Here's a tip to keep him in line. Make him a bit more dependent on you. Blackmail works too, but the former is the preferred method." He glanced to her, smiling as to indicated he is joking with that last bit. He shrugged. "Works for me." Somrene said, referring his own energetic partner in crime.

"Y-yeah.. uh.."Brooklyn looked around, he wondered what that was about. "Hold on a moment..." Brooklyn went and bought the wristband from the man at the shop as quickly as he could, then met back up with Ember. "Alright, let's get going..."

Zion watched Raidyn just run off. She turned and bowed respectfully to the Emperor.

"Your highness, I thank you for your help. I apologize for how brazen and...lacking of maturity my students have. I beg your pardon; they are a bit like Mulan, I would say." She stood straight, smiling.

Ghost hopped back up onto Ghost's back. "CHARGE!"

With nothing apparently happening here and feeling that he had nothing to add to conversing with the Emperor, Zale gave a curt bow, and went after Raidyn.

~*Inside The Nexus*~

"Well...that was nice." Annistha commented.

"Don't start." Zale sighed.

"What? Is it a crime to want to talk to knew people?"

"When we can be doing what we were sent out for, talking can wait."

Annistha sighed.

"You're just saying that because it gets us closer to fighting something, right?" She asked.

Zale smirked.

"Can't say that there isn't perks." He admitted.

Annistha rolled her eyes.

"Come on, gimme control."

"No, we need speed and I'm faster."

With Raidyn scurrying off, the students following with Zale bolting away, and Rei using him as her method of transportation again, Ghost smiled and sighed as he too started a slow build-up to running speed with his girlfriend piggy-backing off of him. Talking to others wasn't exactly something he was comfortable with, and chasing after Raidyn was the perfect excuse he needed to get out of the Emperor's scrutiny.

Up above in the rafters... Instructor Striker could only kneel there, completely flabbergasted at Raidyn's speed as he watched the student exit the main Palace room. He silently cursed to himself; chasing and shadowing the students is gonna be tougher than ever given their speed and eagerness to explore, but admittedly it would have been wrong to restrict them in the first place. The weaponized heartless smirked as he too started exiting the palace grounds, but was slower than the students since remaining stealthy and hidden was more important than keeping up with them...

Indy

The emperor looked at Joel. "The great dragon, Mushu, should be with Mulan as we speak. If you would like to meet a dragon, that is what I would suggest." He smiled at the students. "The young man ran off before I could tell him where she is... Mulan is at a camp in the forest outside of the city. Now, I wish you luck on your travels."

"Right. Thank you, er... Your highness." Indy wasn't exactly sure how to address an emperor. He bowed, and began to run off. He turned back towards the others, and grinned at Toshi. "We've got to catch up to Raidyn and tell him where to go. He'll never figure out otherwise." He ran off, trying to catch up to his friend.

Riku

"Hm..." Riku studied Gaku, also occasionally glancing back at his ship. "Sorry, but I'll pilot the ship. It's my own personal Gummi Ship, and I don't quite trust you with it." He apologized, and began to head towards the ship. "Go ahead and get in, I'll have to check on the engines."

Disappointed in Riku's response, Gaku picked himself up and head inside the Excalibur and takes his seat in the co-pilots's chair. "Well. . . So much for going alone." Gaku knew that it is probably best for him to have someone experienced in driving Gummi Ships to do the driving. Plus, it would be a waste of resources to go back and forth on the Gummi Ship. He ponders in thought of what he has to do in the Land of Dragons, Eliminate Heartless threats maybe? Oh yeah that's right, he thought. The balance of Light and darkness has been tipped recently, and it seems that the light is dominating over darkness and being used for wrongful purposes. I guess my mission is to investigate the worlds relating to the situation, Gaku concluded. "Hopefully, Master Riku finishes up with maintenance." Gaku stated with impatience as he awaits for Riku to enter the ship to take him to The Land of Dragons.

Lucas bowed quickly, barely being able to contain his excitement. "THANKS EMPEROR!" He quickly ran off after Indy. "YES, WE'RE FINALLY GONNA GET TO SEE A DRAGON! THIS IS GONNA BE GREAT!"

"Now, if we were actually be able to catch up to Raidyn, we wouldn't be having these kinds of problems," Joel remarked as the others started running off one by one. "And he's much too fast for me to cast anything on him." He began following his comrades. Oh well, guess we'll just have to do it the old-fashioned way.

Raidyn

"Alright, let's see where I'm going!" Raidyn cried, making it out of the palace perimeters and now standing in the middle of the intersection that lead him there. He didn't have a clue where the camp he was looking for was at; probably should have let the Emperor go into more detail

"Hmm..." He decided to just go with the flow; he put his hand over his eyes and surveyed the roads in front of him. "Well... I'll just choose this way!" Raidyn said, deciding on going down the path on the farthest right. "Won't know if she's there if I don't try!" Raidyn added, speeding along the path.

Toshi

"Oh... um... thank you, Somreme," Toshi thanked, obviously not preferring his second suggestion by a landslide but agreeing fully with the first one. "I'm trying to get stronger, so that I can keep up with him..."

Indy

Indy managed to see Raidyn run off in a random direction, and called back to everyone else. "Hey! Raidyn's over here!" He then continued to chase after his friend. "Slow down, Raidyn!"

Riku

After inspecting the engines, Riku made his way to the Gummi Ship's cockpit. "Alright Gaku, are you ready?" He called back to the student as he started his engine back up.

After seeing Riku entering the ship's cockpit, Gaku let out a breath of relief. "Alright Gaku, are you ready?" Riku questions. "Yeah. Let's get going." Gaku answered.

The Excalibur came to life. Riku made adjustments to ready the ship for takeoff. The roof above the ship began to open while the ship begins to lift itself into the air and continues to rise until reaching a safe distance to blast away into space which would then blast itself into full speed out of Radiant Garden into the universe.

While en route to The Land of Dragons, Gaku gazes out into the stars and looking at the worlds that pass by the ship. He ponders about the team's progress and the girl who was brought in. "Master Riku, what's the student's status so far before heading to Land of Dragons? And do you and Sora have any plans for that student the previous ship brought in?"

Indy

Riku

After inspecting the engines, Riku made his way to the Gummi Ship's cockpit. "Alright Gaku, are you ready?" He called back to the student as he started his engine back up.

Lucas ran after Indy and Raidyn. "Guys wait up! We can't get too far from the dragon!"

Hearing Indy shouting at him to keep up, Ghost hurried his pace and managed to make good progress despite his bubbly girlfriend piggybacking off him. Fortunately, she wasn't that heavy compared to some of the gear he used to lug around on 'Sentinel Expeditions', which he was pretty darn sure was a made up excuse by his instructor to justify carrying 250 pound loads for days on end. He took a deep breath, and started sprinting to catch up.

Striker meanwhile, went with the lazier option and went back to his personal gummi ship, deciding the best course of action would be to carry out the ship's namesake and perform Overwatch duties on the students. It wasn't long before the ship hummed back to life, and the instructor immediately took to the skies. Keeping his altitude rather high, he trained the optical equipment aboard the ship onto the students below and started flying in a slow, lazy circle high above the clouds. He keyed in the radio, tuning it to Ghost's personal communicator and established a connection. Satisfied, he quickly flipped the master arm switch, ready to help from above should the heartless start to pop up... Or if Raidyn doesn't slow down for the sake of others.

Zale, trailing Raidyn, was amused by the attempts to slow the speedster. Of course it was also handy that he would be the first focus of what ever lay ahead. Annistha objected to that reasoning, but Zale ignored her. One of the had to consider the tactics of the situation.

{Nexus Shift}

Annistha stumbled as she took control, but managed to get into her own stride. She had taken control because Zale was doing his...well, his dark, uncaring routine again. She kept hoping he would stop viewing other people as disposable, but she apparently needed to work on him some more.

With her being slower then Zale, Annistha fell behind in position till she was near Ghost and Rei, when she got back in step.

"You don't suppose this was all a ploy by the masters for us to run around and wear ourselves out, huh?" She jokingly asked Ghost and Rei.

Hearing Annistha's remark, Ghost playfully whimpered while still sprinting to catch up to Raidyn. "Don't get me started," he managed to say between breaths, toying with the idea of ranting just to get his mind off the tiring effort. "I wouldn't be surprised if that was true." It was then at that moment he heard a beep come from his tactical pad on his wrist. Balancing Rei on his back while sprinting, he haphazardly checked the instrument while managing not to stumble and fall. After reading the golden text, the Sentinel-in-training groaned rather loudly as he vented his exhaustion and frustration towards the sky. "My friggin instructor... Why do I have to draw the short straw?!" A grin formed on his face as he tried to laugh it off, focusing instead on their sugar-fueled companion. "On the bright side, if we run into problems, at least Raidyn will be the first to get hit, right Annistha?"

Meanwhile, Instructor Striker was reading the worldly newspaper as he leisurely sat in the main seat of the bridge of the gummi ship, now enjoying the pizza slice that Brooklyn graciously offered not too long ago along with a comically large cup of ice cold coconut juice, complete with a toothpick umbrella and crazy straw sticking out of the top. "Beff... gig... ephuuur..." he mumbled to himself while munching on the pizza slice, almost feeling bad for his student hoofing it below as he watched their progress on the nearby monitor. Almost... being the key word here...

Annistha slightly winced when Ghost mentioned Raidyn being first. Did everyone thing that way, just not her?

"I suppose." She replied distantly.

She then grinned and winked at Rei.

"So, you gonna carry Ghost back when we're done here?"

Raidyn

"Cant talk, gotta run, meet me there, bye!" The blonde haired youth sputtered out when he heard Indy's call. He just kept speeding along the path until he found himself coming towards a small ridge. Stopping in his tracks, he climbed the ridge and looked overhead, shading his eyes once more in order to focus his vision.

"There it is!" Raidyn cried, seeing ahead the training camp that the Emperor said Mulan was in. At least, it might as well have been the training camp he was looking for. There didn't seem to be another one for miles anyway, so the first option might as well be the best.

"Oh boy, I can't wait to meet Mulan!" Raidyn said, climbing over the ridge and running down its opposite side onto the ground and towards the camp.

Toshi

In the midst of her friend's hyperactive crusade, Toshi managed to tail Indy along with the others that followed him and looked overhead as Raidyn continued to outrun them all.

"Oh... there has to be a way that we can catch up to him..." Toshi said aloud. "I don't think I have any spells or abilities that could work," Toshi commented, putting a hand to her chin and thinking hard to try and solve this dilemma.

The camp Raidyn found was filled with tents, with a guard tower at each corner. At the center of the camp, a group of soldiers in training were lined up. Their commander stood in front of them, as the soldiers saluted.

"Alright, let's get to training!" The commander, seemingly a woman from her voice, called to the soldiers. They responded with a "Yes ma'am!" The commander tossed them small wooden poles, obviously made as prop swords. "Everyone choose a partner, and practice sparring!" After another "Yes ma'am," the soldiers began sparring with each other, some of which were comically bad at the exercise. The woman noticed Raidyn as he began to walk towards the camp, and turned towards him. "Are you another soldier who arrived late?" She asked, seemingly curious.

Meanwhile, Indy continued chasing after Raidyn. "I don't think any of us have a way to match his speed... We'll just have to run to keep up with him." The boy sighed after responding to Toshi, then tried to speed up. "Would it kill him to wait?!"

Riku

The Keyblade Master kept his eyes focused on the sprawl of stars and worlds ahead of him, but spoke with ease. "We're still discussing that. Master Sora and I are currently thinking about keeping her in custody until we can learn more about her. We hate to have to treat a former student like a criminal, but we will likely have to get more information about this new organization from her before we can make a final decision." As he finished speaking, a screen near the ship's controls showed text reading "Message from: Sora." Riku pushed a button near the screen, and Sora's face popped up on the screen.

"Riku, you need to hurry. We've got an emergency." Sora's voice was uncharacteristically urgent.

"What's going on?" Riku nearly shouted back, but tried to keep calm.

"It's that student that Striker brought back... She managed to escape from me while I was bringing her away! She's somewhere on the academy grounds, but we can't find her. Once you're finished taking Gaku to the other students, you need to come back and help us search."

"Got it. I'll get there sooner." Riku nodded. "We'll discuss this more when Gaku's not here." Sora nodded in response, and the call dropped. "Sorry Gaku, but we've got to speed up. Hold on to something." Riku hit another button, activating the Haste-G blocks that he'd installed into the ship. Their speed increased, sending the two hurtling closer towards the Land of Dragons.

Joel - surprisingly, according to some - managed to keep up with the group. Just because he slept a lot didn't mean he wasn't fit enough to run across China.

When we get there, we're going to have to teach that kid a thing or two, Joel thought as the group comically chased after Raidyn. Geez... After this, I'm taking a nap.
