Keyblade Academy

 

Indy made his way through the academy halls, glancing around at the rooms he passed by. I was told to meet with a teacher in the Gummi hangar... They said that there would be other students, too. What's so urgent that they'd call a few of us there? Is there something going on in other worlds...? Maybe they even have a mission for us... I've always wanted the opportunity to leave Radiant Garden, anyway... He thought to himself as he moved along, pondering what it is that he was ordered to meet there for.

 

He eventually reached the room, noticing that it was empty. "Hm... Well, I did try to get here early, anyway." He muttered, leaning against a wall. He appeared calm, but his mind was racing. Will I get to visit other worlds? Who else will I be with? Will I have a chance to see Allitt again...? He drifted into deep thought, not taking notice of his surroundings...

 

(And yes, the other students all received the orders, too.)

"R-really?" Joel stammered. "I had forgotten about that." Dangit, he figured it out... Wait... It was then Joel realized who was behind him. "Gah! How did you- Friggin' portals..." Joel exclaimed and muttered. "Okay, whatever. Now that you're here, help me take out this guy's wings. If he can't fly, he won't be as annoying."

"Why do you think I met you here?" Brooklyn summoned his keyblade. "But we're gonna wanna do this right. Just jump down from here. Don't worry about it. After that, we will clip it's wings." Brooklyn said. "Any arguments?

"None so far," Joel replied. "But I would like to know what exactly you have in mind before we just off of a giant flying Heartless."

Watching Raidyn get defeated, standing there as the cloaked girl vanished, and now having a freaking dragon breathing down their necks, Ghost sighed heavily and walked out of the cave and back into the open world outside. Seeing Allitt trying to attack the dragon with no avail, he decided to go with a more non-traditional option and pointed his rifle at the dragon. He fumbled the weapon at first, but quickly regained his composure and aimed for the belly of the beast, since it was the biggest target on the dragon itself. "I wonder if this will help..." he grumbled, then pulled the trigger.

 

An arrow bolt was sent screaming towards the dragon, and Ghost could only hope to find its weak spot so he could target that next.

"None so far," Joel replied. "But I would like to know what exactly you have in mind before we just off of a giant flying Heartless."

"The phisics of portals are simply this:speedy thing goes in, speedy thing comes out. We jump down, gain speed, portal back into its wings and clip them." Brooklyn explained.

Joel thought about it for a moment. "Oh, okay. That makes sense," he remembered. His eyes flashed as he thought of something and turned to Brooklyn. "I can also use Gravity to increase our accelerations, thus increasing our velocities. Then we can hit it even harder."

Joel moved to the "edge" of the Heartless's back. "Just give me the okay or something," he said to Brooklyn.

"Geronimoooooo~!" Joel jumped down with Brooklyn. As they gained speed, he cast Gravity on the both of them, causing them to fall faster.

"I think now would be a good time to make those portals!" Joel shouted as they sped down to the ground.

"Simple, Gaku, aim for the head." Brooklyn said, laughin. "Let's go!" Brooklyn jumped down, heading straight for the ground.

Gaku sighed. "Stupid. That was a stupid question to ask." Gaku facepalmed. "Whatever." Gaku turned his attention to the dragon's head and blasted five Ruin attacks at the dragons head, then summoned his keyblade and combo attacked the dragon's head as it roars in agony.

"Why thank you!" Joel shouted to Gaku, taking his words as a compliment.

(Okay, portal time.)

"Ahaha! This is going to be awesome!" Brooklyn yelled. The three of them zoomed to the floor, as they were mere inches from the ground, the portals opened, one siting Brooklyn out at the joint of one of the dragon's wings, the other aims Joel at the other wing's joint, and Gaku was sent flying at the dragon's skull, all ready to hit it...

The three of them zoomed to the floor, as they were mere inches from the ground, the portals opened, one siting Brooklyn out at the joint of one of the dragon's wings, the other aims Joel at the other wing's joint, and Gaku was sent flying at the dragon's skull, all ready to hit it...

Joel pulled out his Keyblade as he sped toward the joint of one of the Heartless's wings. He wrapped his Blade with dark purple energy and aligned himself with his desired point of impact. "Gravity Buster!" He swung down hard as he crashed into the wing joint.

"Ahaha! This is going to be awesome!" Brooklyn yelled. The three of them zoomed to the floor, as they were mere inches from the ground, the portals opened, one siting Brooklyn out at the joint of one of the dragon's wings, the other aims Joel at the other wing's joint, and Gaku was sent flying at the dragon's skull, all ready to hit it...

A portal opened below Gaku as he brought his keyblade over his head ready to crack the Dragon's skull open, but he gets surprised to see Allitt still slashing the Dragon's head. "Allitt! Jump off the dragon now!!" Gaku yelled as he went through the portal. In few seconds, he brought his keyblade downwards onto the Dragon's skull which proved to be a critical hit as it continues to fall down as Gaku recovered from striking the dragon.

Ghost's attack towards the Heartless caused it to roar in pain. However, it continued to fly.

 

When Brooklyn, Joel, and Gaku attacked the dragon, it began to shudder. Allitt heard Gaku's warning, but stayed on the dragon. If I jump off now, there's no way I'll reach the ground safely... The Heartless began to plummet. Once it had almost touched the ground, Allitt jumped off from it. It crashed to the ground, creating a decently sized crater. However, it quickly climbed out, and shot fire at Ghost.

 

"Now we can hit it more easily." Indy muttered. "Ghost, watch out!" He called to his teammate, as he rushed towards the beast. The stomach seems to be its weakspot... He dodged the fire, and stabbed at its leg. Once it stops attacking, I can get a better shot.

Joel, Gaku, you in for another one? Brooklyn asked after the group made it back to the ground. "I am!"

The Nexus Twins stuck with Ghost and Rei, fighting the Nobodies until Rei decided to just end the problem.

"Hey, I was saving that one for later." Annistha objected playfully.

After an interlude where they watched the cloaked girl, both of the twins were glad of the appearance of the heartless dragon.

"Now, there should be plenty to go around." Annistha called out, beaming.

She kept up a stream of Ruin spells and bullets from her gunblade at the Dragon's eyes, hoping to blind and disorientate the creature.

With the beast back down on the ground, it was Zale's turn to have fun. He ran towards the creature, blades ready.

Using the momentum Zale built up, Annistha took control and began climbing and vaulting up the dragon's face, finally landing on top of its head.

With a nasty grin, Zale switched his two blades around to reverse grips and began stabbing at the dragon's eye, a steady rhythm of one blade after another rising and falling into the Heartless.

Lucas stared in shock as the others fought off the dragon, but quickly regained his senses as the dragon crashed to the ground. Alright! Now's my chance! He quickly fired off 2 Blizzard spells at the stomach, and one at the mouth in the hope that it might stop the dragon from breathing fire. He quickly backed away and regrouped with the others.

A huge blast of fire and ice intertwined appeared out of nowhere, headed straight towards the dragon. Once they impacted, both exploded, and out of the explosion came Ember and Somrene. The two supported each other, Ember using her standard graceful slashes and Somrene supported with his brutal strikes. After a while, they stopped, and flipped backwards, landing nearby the others. "Sorry we're late guys. Ember ate too much at a food stand, so we had to stay and wash dishes." Somrene said, sounding exasperated. Ember smiled and laughed.

"I regret nothing! Those were the best noodles I've had in a long long time!" She said. Both the Ninja and the Beast readied themselves for more strikes.

Gaku saw an opportunity to attack the dragon, and decided to not go with Brookyn and Joel for round 2 of the portal attack. "Gonna pass on this one Brooklyn. I see an opening, and I'm not gonna let it slip away." Gaku stated

 

Gaku took the opportunity to attack the dragon after Nexus blinded it and turned his left arm into Ruined Sword. Gaku ran to attack the dragon's stomach and pulled a string of combos, using both Skull Noise and Ruined Sword to beat the dragon into a pulp. He finished his string of combos with a double stab into the stomach and backed away into the group before the Fire and Ice hit the dragon.

 

 

"What the factor!?" Gaku yelled at the scene before him. He notices two newcomers, who explained the situation they were in way earlier. Gaku looked at Indy. "Oi! Running low right now, and the dragon is a few hits away to oblivion. Everyone needs to give it their all on the next attack!"

The dragon was clearly severely damaged from everyone's attacks. It's movements were now sluggish. Indy nodded in response to Gaku. "Right! We've got this!" He shouted back. He backed up, then gave himself a running start. He slid underneath the dragon, and stabbed up at it's unprotected stomach.

Rei slid back beside Ghost, the Dragon pretty damn powerful.

"Pancakes. I don't have the energy yet to try to enter Dominion Mode." She said. "I need a bit more time before I can engage it directly. She breathed easy, and fired a few Pearl shots. "Also mommy called. Said she got blindsided by the Dragon and is hurt. She's healing slowly but will be here as fast as she can. So either we holdout or beat it. Easy."

Seeing the Dragon visibly reacting to his attack made Ghost feel a little uneasy. Something tells me I just got myself into a whole world of hurt. As the dragon plummeted towards the earth, Ghost was paralyzed with awe and being dumbfounded on what to do next. The resulting earthquake and crater shook the Sentinel-in-Training off his feet and sent him careening away from the impact zone. As expected from a student who paid attention to combat class, Ghost righted himself before touching down and sliding to a halt. He looked up to face the dragon and was instead greeted with the view of a wall of lethal flames quickly approaching him.

 

The attack was too big for Ghost to roll or run away, and in a last second move of desperation he quickly tried to conjure up a barrier between him and the dragon. Only a couple hexagons of the barrier were able to appear before the flames engulfed Ghost. The protective spell shattered under the immensely powerful attack, leaving him to take the full brunt of the attack as he gritted his teeth and tried to soldier it out. Covering his face with his armored arms didn't help much at all as Ghost was immediately seared with moderate to severe burns, but oddly enough his pristine short white hair remained undamaged. The fire attack now over, Ghost was visibly charred and steaming as he lowered his arms. Some of the burns were visible on his face, and the now pissed off student was glaring back at the dragon responsible for ruining what he believed was the smexiest face to have ever graced the world. "That hurt," he grumbled, reloading and aiming his arrow rifle one more time at the dragon, "Now it's my turn."

 

It was at this point that Rei appeared behind him. "Pancakes. I don't have the energy yet to try to enter Dominion Mode." his bubbly girlfriend started, "I need a bit more time before I can engage it directly. Also mommy called. Said she got blindsided by the Dragon and is hurt. She's healing slowly but will be here as fast as she can. So either we holdout or beat it. Easy."

 

Ghost tilted his head off to the side, but didn't quite turn it all the way to face his girlfriend since it now became painful to move. "I'd rather take this thing down. I have a sigil and a title to earn, dear." Charging his rifle, Ghost poured every bit of light that he could safely muster from his heart without killing himself into the arrow bolt chambered into the rifle. It took a while, but with everyone attacking the dragon, he was able to accomplish the charging with little interference. He felt weaker, but disregarded it as he once again leveled the rifle and aimed it at the belly of the beast. His sights were blurry, and after blinking several times in a row to clear up his vision, Ghost pulled the trigger and prayed that he wouldn't have to face yet another retaliating attack from the beast.
