They should have Xion and Kairi have the same voice actor as well. It just makes sense. o-o

 

Personal opinion, but I don't like alyson, her performance in days was less than great to say the least.

She was great in the original Days. Didn't do too well in the Cutscene collection, but hopefully, she gets to take on the role again. This was the first time she had the role of Xion since 2009, so she might just have to get used to the role again. I'm hoping we can get someone else to voice Namine. If not, then Xion can go to Hayden and Alyson can voice Namine since she did both Namine and Xion in the cutscene collection from what I remember. She honestly did good with Namine but that voice stuck through both characters.

I was very disappointed that Alyson returned as Xion for the HD REMix; I was not a fan of her voicing Xion in the DS version of Days, but I gave her another shot with the HD cutscenes version....only to be let down by her performance again. I don't think I have it in me to give her another shot to win me over, so I'm hoping and praying that Hayden Panettiere comes back for KH3 as Kairi and Xion. 

I honestly don't mind Kairi's, Namine's, or Xion's voice actors. I think the problem is that she is told she is voicing a character with no heart, and so plays it flat. Even Jesse sounded a little stale in the early parts of the Days movie, and we all know he is pretty good at voice acting by this point.

That's okay though, it never had a heart. Xion is a mere puppet through and through. A failed puppet at that! It didn't even complete its original purpose. Shame too. It could have been VERY beneficial to the Organization.

Thats not an excuse for bad voice acting. Namine didn't have a heart either.

The DS version of Xion was better than the 1.5. I'm going to be completely honest. Alyson was very good at voice acting Xion. But in BBS when Xion is eating icecream Hayden was so excellent I almost cried. So Hayden should be Xion's voice actress.

I think it will be Alyson, they've shown that if they wanted to, they could have gotten Hayden to voice her from the beginning, Alyson returning in Days shows that they never intended to give them the same VA.

 

Plus, the more actors they have voicing dual roles, the longer localization will take. If everyone has different VAs, they can all record at pretty much the same time, But if they have one person voicing two characters, that means that those two characters lines cannot be recorded simultaneously.

Namine's voice actually isn't bad, it was just the writing.The only time our new Namine voice has really gotten to speak is in Re:CoM, and honestly, EVERYONE sucked in that game. You can tell the voices fit the characters, but between the weird original CoM dialogue and the jarring Japanese lip syncing, none of the voice actors really stood a chance,But, that's just my opinion. I think Alyson could do a good job, she just hasn't for whatever reason. I think Terra is worst than both of them though, we need him (and possibly Aqua) to change.
