Shrouded in mystery, a junior girl named Rose Williams was murdered at Centra High School in 1979 in a small town in Colorado, her mutilated remains were mysteriously found in the courtyard of the high school, with no evidence as to who did it. In her 1st period homeroom class, room 139, a student pointed to her empty desk a few days later and said, “I don’t know why everyone is crying about Rose, she’s right there!” Pointing at the empty desk she used to sit at. Though of course she really wasn’t there, the joke continued until the end of the year. As everyone got their yearbooks in the summer, people that were a part of homeroom 139 noticed something very peculiar. In their homeroom picture, was Rose Williams. She was smiling gleefully as ever in a picture taken three months after her death.

And so begins the Curse of Rose. After that school year, all juniors that are a part of homeroom 139 get an extra student, one who was a student last year in 139, and was killed. This ghost cannot be found through the attendance rosters, as their names are somehow placed in all the school’s records, and everyone around them seems to remember having always had classes with them. And every month, a student is tragically killed through some kind of freak accident, a result of the Curse of Rose. The school cannot prevent the curse by switching the students out of 139, as the curse will just follow the students to their reassigned homeroom. The only way to lift the curse, is to find out who the extra student is, and kill them.

 

This RP is based on the horror anime Another, and I’m sorry if the explanation of this complex plot being placed in two paragraphs was confusing, message me if you have any questions. It’s been a LONG time since I have been in the RP business, but I thought I would try giving it another go, and I recently fell in love with this really short anime, and thought the plot was interesting enough to do an RP on.

 

Rules:

3. I will make an actual seating chart, and after a certain amount of people have signed up, I will officially close sign ups, and randomly select the “extra student.” Only I will know who this is, even the extra student will not know

4. As added help to the students, as part of the curse there will be a student who will get occasional visions, helpful hints to determine who the extra student is (this will be the character I make)

5. Though there will be hints throughout the rp as to who it is, you don’t need to know for sure who it is before you make an attempt to kill someone. Feel free to kill anyone you think is suspicious. We gotta have some crazy antagonists for an interesting story right?

6. Write 139 curse at the bottom of your signup sheet to show you have read everything

Appearance: shorter grey-white hair with caramel eyes, her hair goes to about her shoulder in length, she has very white skin, almost to a point where she looks like snow. Her name is a play on the french name Léo, and thus with her skin and name, as well as short whiteish hair, she was nicknamed Snow Lion as a form of a teasing name, but she took it in stride. She is normally never seen out of the school uniform, which she has the longest of the skirts possible(Which reaches her knees) and it is always put together as in the handbook, although she school did allow her to put black stripes on the white version of their uniform as a form of her embracing the name. Mostly everything she has now follows the white and black scheme, save her regular backpack, which she rarely takes with her, but is in a dark purple/black color. She wears tall, very light grey boots that cover her legs up completely, with skirt included, and wears a similar shaded set of long gloves. underneath the boots and gloves, scars and tattoos of various kinds, from dragons of various kinds to a kanji that reads as "Death to all" on her right wrist.

She had once fought with her mother to a point where she decided to leave home and live with her father, who allowed her to do as she wished. She drank, got tattooed many times, did drugs, got into barfights, had been arrested, and was once previously accused of murder, which was self-defense in the end when a man tried raping her. She did may things that shocked even the hardest of the gangsters of the neighborhood, and she was only a twelve year old at the time. Learning on the streets how to survive, like she wanted, gave her more combat and making smarts. Math wasn't something she wanted to do when she could steal twenty pounds of titanium and use it to make switchblades, then sell them for more than what an average person makes in a month. After her and her father got into a knife fight and she spent a year in jail, she had resolved to become much less thug-like and more normal girl, now with all the alcohol and drugs out of her system, she looked back at the way she was and was disgusted with herself, deciding to not break rules ever again, if she so help it, and became very persnickety about the rules and regulations that there were, never so much as breaking or even bending one after her 14th birthday. She now attends this school as a freshman, and is the goodie two-shoes of the school, making her unpopular with many people.

Bio: Cesare is a level minded individual with an Italian background in his family although he may not look like it much at first glance. It's been shown that he's quite intelligent ever since early age. Before he came to Centra High, he's been recognized as the 'Silent Genius' through out elementary and middle school. His most excelled subject would have to be Literature. His title meant exactly what it said: he was loner by choice despite how loved he was by everyone. He had certain morals when it came to schooling and his peers. He didn't associate himself with many people if he didn't have to. They were nothing but a hindrance. Of course, there were people that tried to get close to him, whether it was to seek academic aid or to form a relationship with him. However, Cesare turned them all away, and in a rather blunt and cruel way, not taking their feelings into consideration. The only thing he wasn't necessarily good at was social interaction. Currently, he's not necessarily hated, but he's not as recognized as much as he used to be. Probably everyone got the memo, expect for a certain individual that he's come to pretty much not mind now.

Bio: Nimue is a confident individual who can come off as a complete assertive jerk to just about anyone if she feels like it. The female isn't afraid to speak her mind or attack someone physically if she pleases. Although she can come off as aggressive, she does have a heart and will become more friendly depending on the relationship she forms with someone. Due to her personality, she has gotten into trouble with people in the past, more specifically middle school, part of the reason being that she wasn't exactly born in America. Her and her family are from Wales and moved to America when she was about ten, so her English wasn't perfect, but she knew enough. People began targeting her since she'd always end up confronting the the wrong people, which ended up in her family moving again to Colorado. After a few months of depression from the bullying, Nimue was back to normal but decided to stay under the radar for a while. She had a smaller crowd of friends but they weren't good enough as company. That's when Nimue came across Cesare one day. The friendly side of her got her to go talk to him as he was reading under a tree one day but she was quickly dismissed, Cesare saying that she was bothering him and needed to leave. Quickly offended, she cursed him out before storming off, but the male seemed to dismiss her. As much as Nimue claimed that she hated him, for some reason, she kept coming back to try and converse with the male. At first, Cesare kept pushing her away and she just kept cursing him out but soon he stopped asking her to leave and wouldn't say anything at all, probably realizing that he couldn't get rid of her. Now, they pretty much have a neutral relationship. Cesare was still silent and kept on reading whatever book he had that day while Nimue would run her mouth about whatever was on her mind. Only half of the time would he stop reading and respond, sometimes saying something insightful.

She really just grew up that way due to her past of living under the shadow of her successful family members, mostly composed of doctors and lawyers. It really hurts her mentally when people expect her to come out like them. She has more of an artistic side, very skilled in drawing, painting and sculpting but time after time, she's been told that that won't find her a job anywhere when she gets out of college. Nowadays, she mostly just keeps to herself, not bothering with anybody else. She doesn't really turn away people who tries to make an attempt to speak to her but she's not the one that breaks the ice when it comes to conversations. She's seen with a small sketchbook with her most of the time, draws whatever comes into mind. Rose doesn't let anybody touch it though, along with peaceful sketches, there are dark and depressing drawing in there that could be found as creepy to some. Rosemary has multiple personality disorder and has an alter ego. This side of her is referred to as Mary. Mary only shows herself when Rose becomes too stressed to manage or will show herself whenever she feels like it.  Mary is a more darker side of Rose, displaying a bit of a sadistic and cheerful nature. She quick to snap on anybody as well. It's still not known how Rosemary obtained this multiple personality disorder but it's been evident for a few months now.

He wasn't really one to complain since he was an only child and avoided being a spoiled brat to his parents, but Ryo tries to better himself on his own. Right now, he's trying to fit better when it comes to interacting with his peers, being more welcoming to anyone and everyone since he doesn't really want to excel any further in his studies. Too much stress. So far, he hasn't been shut down yet and people seem to like his friendly aura.

Ever since, Jules was racked with nightmares and depression, without much support from her parents who shortly divorced after Kaitlin's death. When she received her schedule for her junior year and realized that she was doomed to be placed in the horrid room 139, she made it her goal to protect the entire class, instituting a Homeroom 139 Protection Committee before the start of the year. With hopeful but cautious eyes, she intends to watch over the class, trying to save everyone from her sister's fate.

Bio: A relative of Rose Williams, her entire family has been known to be strange and mysterious, even before Rose's untimely demise. It must have been faith, or something darker, that led her to be assigned in homeroom 139.

Charlie is still grief-stricken from his father's death, but covers it up well, using his former relaxed personality for his mother.
