March 23, 201412 yr Author I still want physical backwards compatibility for PS4. It's sadly impossible for the PlayStation 4 to run PlayStation 3 games due to how different the architecture is. The only way to play PS3 games on PS4 is through PlayStation Now. Cheaper price It's already cheap. It's cheaper than the Xbox One and it's much cheaper than the PS3 was at launch.
