The first Game Boy Advance title is hitting the Wii U Virtual Console in Europe next week.

 

The Wii U UK Facebook page announced that the turn-based strategy classic Advance Wars will hit the Virtual Console April 3. The highly-rated GBA title is the only one announced for the Virtual Console so far.

 

Wii U's Virtual Console currently offers dozens of classic NES and SNES titles. Nintendo president Satoru Iwata announced in January that the console will soon get Nintendo DS games that will be playable on the Wii U Gamepad.

The NES vc has been up for quite a while now and there still hasn't been mother 1 on the vc, your hopes will most likely never be fufilled

The European list has since been updated with release dates and more. I can't wait to pick up Golden Sun and Advance Wars.

It's a good thing that I already have Minish Cap on my 3DS since I'm one of the embassadors. But I do hope that they release that too for the Wii U VC for other people to play.

Japan is getting Minish Cap on April 30th, so maybe we might see it in early May. Total guess though. I'm sure they will release it and honestly I was surprised it wasn't confirmed for an April release in America or Europe.

And all of these (Except for SMB3, of course) are classics that I happened to miss out on, but wanted to play. I'm getting a good feeling about this year's Virtual Console lineup.

I use to have it for my GBA SP, but I haven't seen it the past couple years. It's my second favorite Zelda title.
