Wishful Thinking Theories Regarding II.5's Lack of News

Featured Replies

It`s most likely the Mirage Arena... Building servers and such

I don't care much for the reasons, your seems pretty reasonable, all i know is that all this lack of info is killing me.

Here are some theories I'm sure some of us would love to be true to explain why II.5 hasn't had any updates recently:1. II.5 is getting the treatment FFX/X-2 got with PS3 and PS Vita versions that support cross-play/save2. Yoko Shimomura is remaking the majority of the music for not one, but two games on top of Re:coded's movie which takes a while3. The team is slowly and carefully working to create a near-perfect product with no fish faces4. A demo for Kingdom Hearts III is being developed onto the disc that is unlocked upon having clear data for both I.5 and II.55. II.5 will be releasing both in Japan and Internationally simultaneously as Pokémon X and Y did- this big surprise shall be unveiled at E36. Online functions for the Mirage Arena are being explored and worked uponEnjoy that? Now back to reality and the actual reason: Nomura is simply a troll sometimes

i think all, but 1 and 5

You guys do realize there are other things to play while waiting.

As for me,I've already finished KH2KH2FM almost 10 times so I'm not rushing myself

I wish it was all reasons except 1.

My response to each of your points:1. Interesting idea, but since they didn't do it for 1.5, I think it would seem out of place. Won't hate them if they do it, but won't hate them if they don't do it either.2. Another interesting idea. I DO think there is more music for her to remake, but I don't think she'll do everything, and she has other AAA games on her plate at the moment.3. Oh how I would love for this to be true, but I don't think so. It would be appreciated, but I would rather them use that time and manpower on KH3 (or KH3DHD lol)4. It's still too early and though I wish this were the case, I'm not sure how that would work considering KH3 has an all new engine for next gen.5. I think the releases will indeed be closer than 1.5, but it wont be at the same time.6. I definitely think they have at least looked into it, and wouldn't be surprised if this was indeed holding up the release.Love all your points! But sadly, I think we've just been dealt a bad hand. But I think we'll get some info during April!!!

I'm still trying to Platinum I.5, so I'm in no rush xD

You forgot to address the actual reason xD

Oh, how I hope 5 and 6 will be true.

You forgot to address the actual reason xD

Oh, my bad! lolI think the lack of news was mostly because of LR:FF and FFX/X-2 HD. Now that those are out of the way, the only things that SE is doing that is worth mentioning is:-Final Fantasy XV-Kingdom Hearts III-Kingdom Hearts HD II.5 ReMixIt's still too early to share KH3 info and I think they'll be saving all FFXV info for E3 to really wow people. They can't afford to be silent for two months, which means they'll have to reveal probably the boxart and release date for 2.5, then have demos available for E3, then a somewhat simultaneous summer release.

No . They actually need a lot of time to remaster the game .
