Lack of clear direction and a troublesome development cycle But yes, they did have some issues during development and they addressed people's issues in XIII with XIII-2. Or is it because of Toriyama? Toriyama directed X, X-2 and XII's sequel.

I don't really care for the gameplay. As much because I thought FF13 had good gameplay and a storyline. But 13-2 was just awful.

April 10, 201412 yr Author I thought the graphics where tuned down a bit with each installment. Cutscenes weren't pre-rendered after XIII since it took up too much space.

Still this is Final Fantasy not call of duty,it should be handled with care hence why most FF games take at least 3 or 4+ years in prodcution Have you seen a Dragon Quest game being released every single year? the Enix part is working carefully on their stuff but the Square part isn't spending enough time on their games

I don't follow Dragon Quest so I can't really comment.
April 10, 201412 yr Personally I wasn't one of the million+ that bought the X HD collection but you can't deny the achievement it is for a HD remaster. Congrats Square, now remaster XII. I didn't say he didn't, but when you're giving your opinion you don't have to be so negative. You should be nice when you're giving your opinion. What if the opinion is negative though? Not everyone comes across as nice when giving an opinion, regardless if they try to. You like to tell it how it is, you should listen to your own words sometime. That said it's easier to tell a negative opinion irl than it is on the internet, people can understand your tone much better that way.
