As you can see here, Crunchyroll and Siliconera  have both confirmed that Namco-Bandai has the SAO game on a list for English localization and, according to the company, will be releasing sometime this summer in North America.

I remember seeing the game's trailers and wishing that it would see the light of a western release. The fact that it is makes me extraordinarily happy as a Sword Art Online fan.

I DON'T HAVE A VITA D:

Sweet, I can't wait to play it.

I need to get a vita!!

I heard SAO was pretty good- now maybe I can get into the series

Lately a bunch of games have been getting western localization, I hope it keeps up!

Yet the PSP one didn't get released outside Japan... That sucks, because I'm not getting a Vita, yet I have a PSP. I was really looking forward to playing that one... Crap.

The one SAO game...AND ITS VITA.

Can we like. Get some PS3 versions Namco Bandai? :/

So, yes, I'm excited for this game now. And yes, I don't have a Vita at the moment. But you know what? I don't mind getting a Vita for this game. Why? Because I was planning on getting a Vita even before this game was announced. The Vita is actually developing quite the nice library of games. From games that have been around for a while, such as Persona 4 Golden and Disgaea 3 Absence of Detention, to games that have relatively recently come out, such as Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc and Tearaway. Not only that, but the Vita is also still getting what appear to be awesome games, such as Freedom Wars, and the mentioned-above SAO: Hollow Fragment. So...Yeah...I'll be getting a Vita soon here. And if you don't, then simply put, you're kinda missing out.

That or you're simply not interested. My only interests is Freedom Wars and the two Gravity Rush titles. Definitely not worth forking over so much money just to play 3 games on it.

Pretty cool to hear it's getting localised. Hopefully it comes to Europe too so I can get the chance to play it. If not, oh well.

Completely agree. I mean I own one and I have like I dunno 7 games for it (not including PSOne classics or PSP games) and the system is nice but I just cannot recommend it to anyone because there is a vastly superior (and cheaper) handheld console already on the market. I mean I like that I own a Vita so I can enjoy certain titles that do come out for it but I really regret not waiting for the thing to come down in price before buying it. Nevermind xD

It's not missing out if you aren't interested. I'm not interested in a single game on Vita (This would be the only exception, but it looks too fanservicey for my tastes), so I'm technically not missing out if I don't care for what's on the system. Not to mention I'd never be able to put up with any games for it anyway, given how uncomfortable the system is (Used a demo one at Best Buy, it felt really awkward and everything was too tiny).
