May 4, 201411 yr Trailer was a little underwhelming to be honest. I'll still give the show a look in when it airs though, however I'm not getting my hopes up in the slightest.
May 4, 201411 yr So is this like a sequel to the Clone Wars show? I liked the Clone Wars show. No, its just a new show that Disney replaced the Clone Wars with. Sorta like how when Disney got ahold of Marvel, they replaced Spectacular Spider-Man with Ultimate Spider-Man because it delt with too many "adult themes"
May 4, 201411 yr I'm looking forward to this! They have a lot of good people behind it, both the story & characters seem interesting, and the animation style is intriguing. This won't premiere until fall though, so no point in getting hyped about this yet. Hopefully I'll be knee deep into Kingdom Hearts HD II.5 ReMix by that point lol No, its just a new show that Disney replaced the Clone Wars with. Sorta like how when Disney got ahold of Marvel, they replaced Spectacular Spider-Man with Ultimate Spider-Man because it delt with too many "adult themes" Though it was in part due to Disney buying Marvel, they didn't straight up cancel Spectacular Spider-Man and replace it with Ultimate Spider-Man. Sony made Spectacular Spider-Man, but when the television rights to Spider-Man went back to Marvel, Sony couldn't continue to make new episodes. Technically Disney could have specifically purchased Spectacular Spider-Man and continued it that way, but that wouldn't have worked out. Business wise, it wouldn't make sense to pay someone out of house to make a television series about one of your own characters, especially when your company is famous for animation. I wish Spectacular Spider-Man had continued, but it couldn't be helped. Ultimate Spider-Man is pretty good though, once you accept it for what it is.I'm not sure if this was the same case for The Clone Wars though, since that series was made in house by Lucasfilm. Judging from how Disney is handling the Star Wars franchise so far, they seem intent on staying away from the prequel trilogy time period, and focusing more on the time period and feel of the original trilogy. That's just my opinion though, I don't know why The Clone Wars was cancelled, though I hesitate to use the word "cancelled" for a series that has six seasons under its belt.HAPPY STAR WARS DAY EVERYONE!!! MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU!!!

It looks very promising, and even though The Clone Wars was great, I can't wait for the premiere!
May 4, 201411 yr Author So is this like a sequel to the Clone Wars show? I liked the Clone Wars show. Nope. This is Disney doing what they want. They cancelled The Clone Wars just when it was getting really, really good.
May 7, 201411 yr It looks... Okay, I guess. The art style's kinda throwing me off, doesn't feel very Star Wars-y. I'd give it a shot if it goes online anywhere (legally of course).
