What happened to Naruto Shippuden on Disney XD?

Posted

It just came into my mind and I never knew why the channel is gone.

Don't know, don't care. I have no respect for them after... This...

I see the difference.

I see the difference.

That's not even HALF of what they edited out, either. It was really freaking stupid, I'm glad they stopped airing it and gave the rights to Neon Alley.

I'm going to change the title to "What happened to Naruto Shippuden on Disney X.D ?"

I haven't really checked out Shippuden on Disney X D. I know it's censored and all, but at least the uncut version is on Toonami.

Only thing I watch on X D is Tron: Uprising.

There were even worse moments than that. Shikamaru vs Hidan was literally the most painful thing I've ever had to watch, just because of how much they screwed it up.

Anyway, now that I understand the question at hand with the title: My best guess is that Disney either saw all of the complaints and decided to stop airing Shippuden, or maybe decided the show was too adult-natured for their station. I like to assume that they saw Sasuke vs Itachi and decided to stop the edits because of how violent that battle was. xD

I guess so. I knew that their was something wrong with the show on that station.

It got too violent for their delicate little bottoms

Disney xD saw how violent it gotten later, and couldn't figure out how to keep characters alive and crap like that.

Neon Alley obtained rights, then this year, Toonami obtained rights.

Although you could watch Naruto Shippuden on Toonami at 1:00am on Saturdays, you can just look through the interwebs and watch the dubs up to Team 7 reunion arc, then watch the subs to the good stuff.

We don't speak of THOSE days around here...  :P

Disney X/D aired Naruto? Oh god, wouldn't even be Naruto anymore.
