I'm sick of getting all of this Spam and some of it disgusts me, about what it is.

I seem to get them every 5 - 10 minutes now. Sure i can just click delete all Spam Messages but i want to stop getting all this stuff i never even went to once.

In Gmail is there any way to prevent getting some spam or even block spam etc.

I have tried replying to the Spam, but it always fails.

get a decent internet security system, lots can filter emails

or do what i do, and sign up to sites (therefore sending junk mail) with a different email account

Wow i hardly ever get spam mail hmm you must sigh up for to many sites or something.

Just ignore it, not that hard. You're using Gmail, so it automatically goes to your spam folder, as you've said. What is compelling you to read through it, or even to "delete all Spam Messages"? You can just leave it, you know.

Dude, its called the internet.

Deal with it.

Click the little box by all of your Spam messages and then hit 'delete'. They go bye-bye. :D The Gmail Spam-blocker stuff sucks. Half of my KH13.com or Stardoll e-mails are in the Spam, and half in my inbox.

I swear, I just laughed so incredibly hard I spilled my beer on the table. Thank you so much for this.

However, a tip for your problem: I use G-Mail too and I NEVER get any spam. Know why? It's because I don't give every freaking site my mail address, because they're going to share it with every partner they have, essentially making you getting spammed.

So apart from blocking "familiar" senders there's not much you can do but to get a new mail address which you don't give any internet site.
