Posted June 6, 201411 yr Since the description for FINAL FANTASY V on the Google Play Store does not mention if The Sealed Temple is included I decided to ask Square Enix Europe if it does include The Sealed Temple. This was their response. As far as we are aware the iOS and Google Play versions of FINAL FANTASY V contain the sealed temple which was included in the Game Boy Advance release. There you have it, the Android version of FINAL FANTASY V contains The Sealed Temple.
June 6, 201411 yr PSP isn't high definition. I don't care. I want a collection of old-guard Final Fantasy games on one console.

They didn't come in a physical box, they don't look quite as good as the PSP version, it's just not the same. It's the same thing Capcom does with Ace Attorney. They made a new game and decided to make it digital-exclusive. Just release it in physical form, God. Edited June 6, 201411 yr by Kaweebo

PSOne Classics are digital-only because it's just emulation. The iOS and Android versions of FINAL FANTASY V and FINAL FANTASY VI are not being ported to PlayStation Vita or Nintendo 3DS since there wouldn't be much to gain out of that. People want remakes on those handhelds not remasters. Plus there's been a lot of hate towards these versions anyway.

They shouldn't have started remastering all of the original Final Fantasies on PSP if they weren't going to finish it off. That's what I'm on about. Digital only emulation is the problem. They should have released them physically and kept it going until FFVI, but they didn't. So now I'm bitching and complaining because I wanted to own FF1-6 on PSP and now I'll never get to. As for 'people want remakes, not remasters', remastered games wouldn't still be getting released on handheld if that were true. Hell, FFX/X-2 HD is being released on Vita.

I'm talking about for V and VI. People want remakes of V and VI not remasters. But for X & X-2 people wanted remasters and they had no reason to remake them. Square Enix didn't have plans to "remaster" the original six FINAL FANTASY games on PSP. They remade I & II for the 20th anniversary and then four years later they wanted to make a bundled release for all the episodes of THE AFTER YEARS and then a year later they ported III to PSP since it wasn't playable on any Sony platform. FINAL FANTASY V and FINAL FANTASY VI will be remade in 3D eventually. Until then play the SNES, PSOne, GBA, iOS or Android versions or just wait.
June 7, 201411 yr They released the PSOne Classics of V and VI for that reason. Besides the HD remastering, there isn't that much difference. There's also the major difference of crap loading times and horrible, game breaking bugs (Of course, the Android version of FFVI had a gamebreaking bug at first too, so I guess both shared that at some point).

Oh, I agree. The PAL versions are even worse since they're crappy 50Hz. But I'm simply stating there's no reason to release a remaster on a platform where people want a remake, especially when a remake makes so much more sense.
