I think that the "hero" that we've seen in the newest Zelda U trailer is probably the hero of men that is mentioned in the Minish cap. I may be wrong, but their's nothing wrong with speculating this game. What do you think about this theory?

The facial structures are a little feminine (except for the eyebrows) so I thought the character might be Zelda disguised as Link.

Yeah it could be Zelda running away from an enemy which in the trailer is the enemy that is following the "Hero". It could be one of Ganondorf minions or something like that.

I also think it's Zelda in Link cosplay, trying to protect him. Maybe he's sick and can' t defend himself and she posing as him to draw the enemies attention while he recovers?

We always seen Zelda in other zelda games use arrows.

I don't think there's enough evidence(or any) in this trailer to say that, but who know,it could be possible.

I think the trailer shows off the New World that had just been discovered by Link and Tetra after Phantom Hourglass. The technology used here seems much too advanced to be during the era of the Hero of Men. The hero here could be Link, could be Zelda, but being in this side of the timeline, it could also be Aryll. This is the only timeline Link has a sister in and I've noticed a few similarities between the hero and Aryll, such as the pinkish tone around the cheeks and the blue band used to hold up the ponytail which is similar to the ones used for Aryll's pigtails.  Only Aonuma knows the answers right now.

I see your point. It can be any character that Link meet in all of the games, but what if the "hero" that we saw in the new Zelda U trailer is a new character that we never seem before that is connected to the events that happened in the adult timeline
