At four points around the mountain known as Evraius the Teragren captains went over the situation once more to be sure there was no confusion; this was a volunteer mission, there was a high risk of death, and once the climbers passed the Teragen gates onto the premises of Evraius they were no longer under the protection of the Teragren army, and nobody would help but the rest of their team members.Of the 19 volunteers that passed the test to be accepted into the Evraius mission there were now four teams, each of 4 or 5 people. The army had brought them to the four gates that separated Evraius from the Kingdom of Teragren. The strategy was that they may be more effective if they could split the Kamyn attention and thus have a better survival rate. Now the four teams sat at their respective gates, facing the world changing mountain that would be their future; Evraius. The teams were split up in the following ways:Gold Team, made up of Drale Vay, Amber Dolor, Cornelius Bastion, and Sandrew.Silver Team, made up of Sonya Bishop, Kinzoku Mors, Averain, and Jasper SummersIron Team, made up of Alice Thornsberry, Emert Berger, Morgan Etiam Vinctum, and Doctor Pellinore WartropPlatinum Team, made up of Apollo, Lance Alburght, Varion Hain, Fairy, Aya Kozakura, Sairi KozakuraEach of the gates rumbled opened painfully and slowly, with a history of destruction and cruelty beyond their metal bars."Okay." Each captain spoke to the respective teams as they mounted their horses once again and steered back toward the road."You all have 5 minutes to greet your new teammates and enter the gates. The magical locks will automatically close them again after that point. There won't be any returning until you have something substantial to return with." The gist of each captain's parting words were. They had all rehearsed together so the information would be similar for each group. It also helped mask the fear. And then each group was left alone, each with a gate and a beaten dirt path beyond it sitting before them. It was time to start the introductions and get going. It was time to start the climb.Watching every gate through spectral projections, Adriev pondered. He stood in a pure white room with 5 others. After watching the four teams for a few moments he turned to his peers: Efenton, Girver, Dante, and Vortimer. Only one was missing."So..." He spoke slowly, weighing every word. "What shall we do about this?"

(So what's going on now?)

(Well, we were facing Griver, but them he gave up and I trapped him in a Carbonite cube, since everyone else is going off of my post over Yuffie's, and then we found out Drale was a evil guy and from then on we don't know. I killed the thing we were facing by pushing Sandrew to his absolute limits, causing him to open a hole under the ththing and then blow it up with a fire attack, and now we're here. Wherever here is.)

Fariy ran over to him. "You need help Sandrew?" She asked. "Because you seem to be bleeding, not that I have a choice but to heal you."

Kamyn

Adriev held up his claw gauntlet, which absorbed the lazer blast that Sanya fired off, but still had enough force to sam him against the control panel. He pushed off in an instant and recovered, forming a new battle stance as Sanya transformed.

"You're more resourceful than I'd imagined. Combining your AIs like that is quite clever." From his other hand, a multitude of lazers fired out and curved towards Sanya. At the same time he pushed off and jolted toward her in her new form, punching towards her with his gauntlet of spinning blades.

"But not clever enough you thankless traitor!"

All Teams

With the matters of Griver and Drale resolved, and the  Griver being incased as a statue and a new being now inhabiting his Drale's form, there was only the matter of moving forward towards the reactor.

On the far side of the hallway the reactor was a series of gigantic spinning metallic cylinders. A huge buzz could be heard from within. Some high-level technology was regulating the structure and abilities of the nanomachines from within. In front of the spinning cylinders was a large slab of metal and buttons that served as the control panel. It's likely that, even without knowledge of the control panel, the nanomachines of the climbers could interface with the panel and shut down the reactor, if they didn't want to destroy the cylinders themselves...

But, while they didn't know it, the room may have contained more than just the reactors.

Efenton looked at the group. "Hmm." He said, feeling guilt for Drale. He pointed to the panel. "Shall we investigate..,?" He drew his daggers. "Let us be on our gaurd...@

( *sigh* All I wanted was character building, but no. We had to go with the Star Wars reference. No matter. You shall all regret the choices you've made.)

The Doctor gave a slight bow of his head to Vay. "Another doctor? And what have you devoted your life to? Notable achievements, revolutionary papers? I regret to say I have never heard of you, but to have invented a watch that would do such a thing... Surely, you must have some fame attributed to your name?" The Doctor inquired of Dr. Vay Lea. Warthrop was curious of the man, as he had spent almost his entire life in the academic and scientific community, and never having heard of such a man seemed odd. As the Doctor spoke with Vay, Kinzoku smiled at Efenton.

"Ready? Of course! Who wouldn't be!" Kinzoku said, still as excited and cheery as ever. Just a chipper girl she seemed. But she still harbored her terrible affliction of the heart and body. The Mage half skipped, half ran into the generator room without pause. "Worry not! My metal magic makes me more adept with machinery!" She called back to the others, analyzing the control panel and making the necessary movements to reach her goal. The interface was far from intuitive, but she was managing to understand. Just one more click.... And it would be theirs.

"It does not surprise me that you haven't heard of me. The fame I have... is not known by many. For you see, I kept them secret. But, the experiment I was performing, when I had my... accident was going to be my magnum opus. The nature of it is not one I wish to discuss, I'm sure you understand. And you ask what I devoted my life to? Simple. The improvement of us. Of all of us. And it was for that cause, that my watch, and my experiment, that blasted experiment, was created. And, by the end of this mission, I hope to be able to improve everyone," said Vay to Warthrop, passionate about his work. One of the few things he DID care about. Vay quickly strolled up to Kinzoku, and said, "As true as that may be, I do hope you know what you are doing." He summoned his shadow-mune, and twirled it around through the air. He was waiting for something, anything, to happen.

Sandrew got up on his knees, breathing heavily. He choked on the air around him, and it took him a moment, but he stood up, completely exausted. "Thank you for healing me..." Sandrew choked out, before trudging to the door of the area of the Generator.

Cornelius quickly moved over to Kinzoku, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"One moment, before you start pressing buttons randomly." He said. "Let me check it first."

He waved his other hand, creating a number of hard light spiders that swarmed over the console and analyzing it.

Varion:

"Well." Varion murmured, staring at the behemoth of a structure that was the generator. "So, what?" He asked, glancing around at his so-called allies. He doubted they would even listen to him. Fairy might, but she was busy with some kid.

"What're we gonna do to this thing?"

Emert:

Emert frowned beneath his helmet. He felt that they needed to take this thing down. No matter what it was, he felt it needed to be destroyed. This entire damn mountain needed to be destroyed. Raze any trace the Kamyn had left. He wanted to evidence of them anymore. That would be their truest punishment. A true death. Being forgotten and left to dust for millenia.

crossing his arms with his sword now secured to his back Tristan sighed "why does everyone have to be so technical before the last fight cant we just hit some big red button hope for the best and move on to fight Adriev actually can't i just hit this thing with my sword it can nullify any form of Nanomachine technology so can't i just start breaking stuff please my stupid test involved me taking part in a drinking game and now i'm bored somebody let me hit something"

"I-I'm not "some kid..." Sandrew coughed. "I'm here to do what it takes to help everyone. My name is Sandrew. And I'm not just "some kid" anymore." He choked a little more. He wasn't in any shape to be standing up for himself, let alone stand at all. "C-Cornelius..." Sandrew choked. "Are you alright..?"

"Helping everyone. What a wonderful goal," said Vay, dripping with sarcasm. He looked Sandrew over and said, "You are clearly still too weak to stand. While you may no longer be some kid anymore, you still can't handle the strain of your powers. Look at yourself! No hero would push them self to an early grave like you are!" He was in no mood for any form of weakness. And he wanted everyone to be in the best condition to fight Adreiv. He turned to Tristan, "Just wait for a little while. Soon, you'll be able to beat Adreiv up the head. Won't that satisfy you?" he asked.

"I'm fine." Cornelius answered, sounding a little irritated as he tried to figure out the console.

<Forgive my friend.> a female voice said in Sandrew's mind. <He can get cross if people tried to talk to him while he is working. I'm Betsy, by the way.>

Cornelius's face hardened in anger and he shot a glance at Sandrew. He and Betsy spoke in his mind.

<He wants me to stop talking to you, but you all might need my help.> Betsy continued saying in Sandrew's mind.

Sandrew glared right at this person. "You're not Drale, but I can feel him in you." Sandrew wispered. "What have you done to my teammate!" Sandrew yelled. He was clearly exausted to death, but he wasn't in a mood to let this stand. "Because he knew who I was, and he actually cared, at least a little bit about who I am besides just if I looked fit to fight!" He yelled. "That's all we have done here, that's it: we'very fought! That! That is all we have done! And then suddenly whoever in hell's name you are just waltzes in and starts being a war leader! What the hell do you think you are!" His anger was incredibly apparent. Absolutely so. "How about we all just sit the hell down and take a minute to relax! I know it's not an opportune moment, but if we don't, I doubt any of us will be in any sort of goddamn shape for this fight!" Sandrew screamed. The normally docile, quiet boy was frustrated by this fate. "I made so many friends here, and some of them don't even appear to be here any more! And whatever you are, you swallowed up Drale! I don't give a damn about this any more! I just want to avoid my fate for just one more god damn minute!" He screamed. The metal on the floor was bending under pressure from Sandrew's overwhelming emotions.

Cornelius answered, sounding a little irritated as he tried to figure out the console. <Forgive my friend.> a female voice said in Sandrew's mind. <He can get cross if people tried to talk to him while he is working. In Sandrew's head, all that could be heard was static. He wasn't even fully aware of everything, he was too tired. He was out cold for a lot of the situation at hand because of how much force he had already extruded. The static was loud and domineering over anything else.

Sanya backthrusted away as Aryel stabbed with her trident. Serafine struck from behind while Kira unleashed a laser blast. She let them get into position...then charged."I do not fear you Adriev! I fear nothing! Time has made me immune to everything. Thankless?" She parried the spinning blades. "I'm heartless." She then commenced a backflip and double kicked Adriev under the chin. "But even a heartless bitch knows utter genocide is wrong!"

Sandrew glared right at this person. "You're not Drale, but I can feel him in you." Sandrew wispered. "What have you done to my teammate!" Sandrew yelled. "Who the hell do I think I am, you ask? I am Drale. I am what he was, and I am what he is going to be. I did not 'swallow him up' as you claim. I simply regained my memories and my personality. They were all kept in that little watch of his. Believe in him who believed in you, if you must, but don't blame me. He had a job, and he couldn't do it. Now, I do agree with you in one way. We should take a minute to all calm down, in preparation for the fight," said Vay, annoyance obvious in his voice. He took a deep breath, exhaling with a sigh. He had hoped to avoid such a reaction.(N. B. I had to make that joke.)

(Sandrew is like at his wit's end...)"You're still not him.. You're diffrent. I want the person I've fought with back. Not you." He turned his nose to the man who Drale was consumed by. And looked at the machine. "I don't care Wht it takes. Make me strong enough to face Adriev and kill him. I don't care if I die right after, just do it, Cornelius." Sandrew commanded. He just wanted this over.

Annoyed for being repeatedly ignored Tristan began to hit his head off a part of the machine repeatedly and hard "These guys are starting to give me a headache can i go on ahead and fight Adriev already this is starting to get boring i need to hit something soon and if i cant hit Adriev I'll start using one of you as my punching bag" Tristan said this while gesturing towards Sandrew, Vay and Cornelius
