(Yo nerds! Chill out! It doesn't matter because we needed to end this anyway. Sure there are flaws, but I don't need to exploit them because we all need to end this.)A dark arena. One might say it's the heart. However, the Doctor wasn't one to believe in the power of the heart. No, this was certainly the battleground of his mind. This arena held two combatants. One was the Doctor, sanity intact, spear out. But he didn't seem to be having such a picnic. His hair was matted with sweat, and there were multiple wounds on his body. The other combatant was nothing but a shadow, a silhouette. The Doctor rushed his opponent, prodding with his spear, before going all out with a lunge. The silhouette simply leaned out of the way, dodging the two strikes with ease. The shadow kicked out, hitting the Doctor in the gut. Warthrop grunted, and fell to his knees. The shadow laughed. "You are not in control. You infected yourself, knowing there would be no return." The shadow hissed. Warthrop still looked up at the shadow, his eyes challenging it."There is no evidence that a man cannot buck the infection." The shadow batted the Doctor down, making him fall all the way to the ground."There's been hundreds of cases, and not a single one saw any form of recovery. You know that. You wrote the book." The shadow said, still talking in a half hiss half laugh."They weren't me." The Doctor replied simply, refusing to back down, despite being on the ground. The shadow laughed."Let's be honest Warthrop. You aren't a man. No human is like you. Would a man leave not one but two loves? Would a man risk everything he loved for a chance of meaningless glory? Would a man corrupt a boy? Would a man kill his best friend? You are not a man. You are nothing but a monster." The shadow said, leaning closer to the Doctor. Now, the darkness that shrouded the silhouette burned away, and revealed... Doctor Pellinore Warthrop, dressed in his finest, hair neatly combed back. "You are fighting your very nature Doctor. Come to a realization. You are not one of them. You are what you've been studying this entire time." The Doctor lay and looked at his opponent."....A monster." The fake smiled."Good job! You've got the idea. Doctor Pellinore Warthrop, Monstrumologist. A man whose passion burned hotter than the sun. A man so consumed by his work he became lonesome. None could come close. None could relate, none could bond, for they would all burn away. After all, flying too close to the sun will cause wings of wax to burn away." The shadow continued to grin, talked as if he knew the Doctor better than any other. Because he did. As Warthrop lay on the ground, bruised and beaten, he was coming face to face with every doubt that had ever come to mind. What if he was too forceful? Too intimate? Too cruel? The Doctor shut his eyes hard, but one tear fell from his eye anyway. He couldn't think of a single person that still was close to him, that was still foolish enough to think he gave a damn about others. Warthrop opened his eyes, and looked straight into the eyes of himself. No, not himself. Straight into the eyes of a monster. Warthrop took a deep breath. He could stop fighting. What point was there? He was a monster, on the outside and the inside. Then he opened them again, and looked again into the eyes of the doubt. There was no spark. No light, no gears turning, no brilliant mind. Behind those eyes, there was nothing. Warthrop kicked the fake away, and stood up. The Doctor picked up his spear, and looked at the fallen doubt. "Make no mistake, I am as cruel and heartless as a monster. But I refuse to be someone that will not, can not, be something beyond what they are born as. I have a goal of immortality in the hearts of men, and falling to the depths as a monster isn't in the agenda." The Doctor said, walking forward. The doubt began to crawl away, but he could not escape. As the Doctor approached, he began to glow, lightly at first, but as he came closer, he brightened. He stood over the doubt now, light as bright and hot as the sun. "Know one thing. It was the man, Doctor Pellinore Warthrop, that truly conquered monsters." He lashed out with his spear, and the second he hit the fake, it melted away, into nothing but ash. The small pile of ashes blew away, and the Doctor stood triumphant.Out in the real world, Tristan's blade had hit it's mark, hitting the Doctor's back, and making a deep enough cut so that the nanomachine sealing power had its effect upon the typhoneus magnificum in the Doctor's bloodstream. It was this cut that allowed the Doctor to burn the doubt away. Now, the Doctor lay, on the ground, the sword of ice clattered to the ground, his body broken. But now he slept soundly, his battle won.Kinzoku lay on her stomach several yards away. She was in much worse shape. Drale's strike, Sanya's final blow, and Jasper's explosion finally beginning to destroy her body. She lay there, skin burned, blood running from so many places it was hard to determine where the wounds were, and clothing torn to shreds. She looked around at the few climbers still left. As her breathing became shallower, her mind wouldn't stop the hate. Hate towards everything, and everybody around her. She thought only about how much damage and destruction she would cause, as soon as she woke up. As soon as she was up again, she could kill all of these people. They were nothing, they were weak! She could obliterate them all. As soon as she woke up. Yes, she needed to rest. Rest would be good. Kinzoku closed her eyes, intending to kill every person on the world once she awoke. Unfortunately, she never would.

(Its just a side note, nothing that matters really. I'm just bringing it to attention as the combat guy, it's sort of my thing :P When it comes to near unavoidable attacks, I'm the guy. Before I knew better, I was really bad at keeping myself in check)Anyway, the finale. It was over. The final Kaymin slayed, Evraius destroyed, the world saved...And on that moment, the last notions of Sandrew's actions completely vanished from the climbers minds. Past and present. Anyone who remembered him could feel the little bit of memory on him just... wash away....
...but it was OK...All that remained of Sandrew was his blades and a little bit of his soul. The blade's flew from their positions, with their fallen and living team mates now looking on, the blades now had the names of the fallen and the lost inscribed in them. What remained of Sandrew watched on, tears leaked out of his big eyes as he stared on. The blade's slammed into the ground, pillars of stone and quartz shot to the sky, the light of an aruora hung in the sky as snow began to fall. A stone tablet raised from the ground, inscribed with the names of all the hero's, how the fell if they did, the date, and even the time. A statue of the Evraius, Adriev, and the other Kaymin rose as well. Below that, a statue for every member of the fighting force rose as well, armed with their weapons of choice. Ferro's armors rose to the surface and rest upon him. The rest were armed in stone versions in their hands. The place of tribute to the valiant warriors was created. "And... good bye." Sandrew was finally gone now. The blade's glowed, embude with their natural energies, restoring the area to a lush, vibrant, beautiful area, the stopped. The end, at least in this writter's world, is now written. But somewhere, some time, weather it be here, there, in this or another time space continum, a young boy with dark black hair and eyes is born, the fragments of Sandrew that did survive made refuge in him, with the experience and resolution that Sandrew had. This young boy was born to fight on and face...The Echoes and Ash of humanity's fall. Edited by Guest

It was over. Jasper was sure of it. His body flt light and floaty, and everything went dark. In what seemed like moments later, Jasper saw a bright light emerging from the darkness, it's warm yet powerful glow seeming enticing, like it wanted him to come towards it. But as Jasper tried to move towards it, he felt intense pain flow throughout his body. As his vision began returning to him, he realized he was staring at the sun.

"Ugh... well that sucked." he said quietly, feeling rather awful. He can cuts, burns, brakes, and fractures all over his body, but he'd live. "So, is Kinzuko dead?" Jasper asked, not sure if anyone could hear him, "Because I really, really don't want to do that again." But deep down, despite the pain, Jasper felt glad. It may have been at the cost of many lives, they'd finally finished their mission. The world was safe.

Sanya watched as her body faded. And, as they stood victoriously, so many dead, she moved closer to Jasper.

"Jasper." She managed. "Bury my ashes somewhere with a view. Okay?" She smiled softly. "I think this is the last time I'm gonna die. Ya'know, at last." She looked down at Veritas, her blade of Air. "My final strike...it gave an opening...just enough..." She looked to the sky, her body half gone. So far only her shoulders and head remained, fading into the wind like ash.

"Echoes are all I've had. Echoes of past lives, and the ashes of my deaths." She closed her eyes. "Somewhere with a view. Nice and quiet. Yeah...that sounds really nice." And so she faded with that final smile on her lips, and where she had stood now sat a small pile of ashes, nothing more, nothing left. The wind did not stir, and as long as above them circle a hawk, a special hawk, those ashes would remain.

From the area came many animals, each the familiar patterns and shades that had been Sanya's transformations. And among them a boy, with hair white as clouds and eyes of electric blue.

"So it has ended. The cycle Serafine and I so wished to end." He looked at the ashes. "She gets to rest finally. She's been kept alive for awhile..." He smiled. "Let her rest."

He turned to leave, then stopped at where Veritas had stopped. "Hey, Jasper, right? Make this her tombstone." He walked off, and disappeared into the wind.

//Hey, if you could post the burial, I had an ending for Sanya beyond this.

(You doubt I took them into consideration. 1: Though it's a ship, and a l it of metal is present, water isn't exactly something you filter out of the air unless you're making oxygen gear to allow one to breath in situations they could not. The fact that it became a mountain still stands, and thus the water is still there and present. Add the fact it rose into the air, releasing underground Aquafirs and lakes, causing heat in the area evaporating the water and turning it into water vapor, and Sandrew final attack releasing a burst of elemental properties into the world. The metal dosen't affect wafer vapor available, and in fact would more likely rust due to it. An on top of that, if it were any hotter than as stated, the ground itself would begin to melt down to magma. Tristan, undoubtedly, cannot survive the noxious gasses released in magma, even when holding his breath because it's toxic to biological matter(aka skin, eyes, any open orifice of the human body) in general. I said in pure terms of skill, Tristan could win, but the doctor has abilities we know next to nothing about now, added with Ice form allowing him to bypass(as ice isn't a biological matter) the noxious fumes (not nessicary the magma, but the gasses and the fact the cold from him would likely keep the area around him somewhat solid and cool still) and his now way upped stamina he could likely survive for over two and a half hours in there with him literally suckling the water out of the area. You argue that it's so hot it instantly melts any ice, yet if the ice exists for an instant, even an instant, that is enough to preform with. Not nessicary an attack, but more like an escape would be the option. The beast would understand, subconsciously, that it's odds in such an environment would be bad. Escape would be the best option, so raising a thin, human sized hole in the fire long enough to escape would be it's likely next course of action. It need just make it half a way through the fire, the ice form itself would cover most of the damage in cured and the person lands safety outside of their trap.Add to that, the heat of it would have to be hot enough to nearly obliterate human matter of any kind, ice, the like yet be cool enough to not allow for the ground around it to begin to melt down from said heat. That would be about the temperature of hell, as there is lava in hell, but it's not all lava, it's covered in stones of various kinds, and in the final circle of hell, in some instances, it is iced over, a frozen wasteland, but the rest is still intolerably hot. Thus meaning ice can form in hell, in a biblical sense. Any hotter and ground would melt down into lava, and no ice could form.Tl:dr: being hotter than hell would mean the floor is lava, get off the floor! And Tristan ultimate "trap" is not feasible, as it would change the way the ground works in the arena, literally burning Tristan alive but still providing the Doctor safety and escape.Next time, for an entrapment, a better choice is a solar ring: using sun to amplify the strength of your fire control and strength, melt a large portion of ground around your target and not yourself, just enough to entrap them but not to kill them, and surround them with tightly-binding rings of everlasting until you command it to stop flame. Said person would be in able to move away from the area due to the lava and rings holding them in, no arguments can be made against this as a person would have to ice over most of the ring to be able to move. Then whomever you are entraping only has up as an escape, but the rings can follow and tighten on them, sear them, and keep them immobile and keep them at your bidding. The only other exit rely on the person having fire manipulation, water manipulation, earth manipulation, or extreme air based manipulation to either force the fire away, quench the lava then force themselves to fight on inside some water in order to resist the burns as they fight, earth allowing the person to just encase you in your own lava, ridding of the lava, then watching as your life force drains away in the earth and your fire is put out, or extreme wind allowing them to cool the lava and blow them so far away your magic can no longer affect them. The is no perfect manuver, remember this. There is always a way out)

(Just saying this for the sake of saying it not trying to make anyones points pointless but Riki Tristan's sword as long as he's holding it any kind of Nano attackhe forms himself he's perfectly safe from the side effects the anti Nano's in Rune Blade work as a self repulsing shield thats part of the reason Tristan can turn himself into flames and cover his body without being burned just saying this so i can point out i did take all this kind of stuff into consideration)

dispersing Hell's cage as his blade made contact with the doctor Tristan pulled away from the Doctor as he fell to the ground breathing a sigh of relief Tristan looked to his side as he saw Sanya fading away and Kinzoku breathing her last breath's "How is it I'm the only one still able to stand a hell" laughing slightly Tristan fell back flat on his back as he laughed happily as he finally released the grip on his sword "So its finally over all the Kamyn are dead" looking to Drale who seemed to still be standing Tristan smirked "well atleast all the bad ones atleast uh time for sleep" taking one last sigh of relief Tristan feel asleep after all the long and grueling battles with a smirk on his face

(Erm... I never said anything about Rune affecting... gasses, on the other hand, are kind of hard to deflect, as they move randomly, react oddly, ect. Even if you protected most of your body, the gasses still enter through breath, and shielding your lungs isn't an option as that means you can't breath at all.)

(Like I said, the Doctor in that form has superior stamina to Tristan and other uncountable abilities, and only requires water vapor. Tristan could survive for 40 minutes and the Doctor could survive for more than an hour.)

But Tristan only needed a few seconds to strike its not a long lasting trap i never said it was its a quick finish type trap why would he need more then an hour to take someone on in an enclosed space

well to put this to an end I'll tell you this Hell Cage isn't a technique that requires stamina for one to withstand and win in Hell Cage they need speed and incredibly high heat resistance that's the flat out plot to the whole technique that's why it works perfect for Tristan

(Again, stamina in a situation where they must hold their breath. Fire eats oxygen for breakfast, so the conflict is that there is little to no air inside the ring of fire and this means that the people inside must hold their breath until the other one becomes unconscious. As Tristan's supply of breathing material is the same as the fire's, and The Doctor's is breathing another supply of oxygen that dosen't burn (in water), he has more breath to be able to draw from.)

(I feel like I'm enjoying this argument way too much. Oh well, that's schadenfreude for ya! P. S. Yes, I know it doesn't quite qualify as schadenfreude.)

Drale dispersed the shadow rock once Kinzoku closed her eyes for good. And after the monuments were formed, and Sanya turned to ash, he spoke out. "So that's it, is it? One Kamyn left, oh so very few climbers remaining, and a monument left to those who have fallen. How will the Vediks react, I wonder..." He mused, whilst stroking his chin in an intelligent fashion. "Well, such is life. And now..." Drale Vay started, "For sleep," finished Dr. Vay Lea. And with that, he lost consciousness. He had had a very long couple of days, and even with the boost he had gotten, he was mentally and physically exhausted.

(Similarities to Joe's post are purely coincidental. I had this planned out a little earlier, before having seen his post.)

(Good lord guys, please, can we not argue? I understand the will to do so, especially about the subject, but can you all give it a rest?)

Varion:

They had failed, unfortunately.

Vedik wouldn't be pleased. But Varion's final though went against every ounce of Vedik brainwashing.

F*ck it.

He had failed, and so what? He didn't really even know if Kinzoku was dead either...but he could feel her. Somewhere, in the temporal abyss that quickly followed one's death. In that darkness he smiled, and felt her presence.

They were dead, but at least together. He could die happy, even though he hadn't won--he had at least something in the end of all of this.

Emert rubbed his forehead, and slammed his blade down. That was it. The traitors were gone. Dealt with forever. With the Kamyn dead as well, it seemed that they had won out. He glanced over Varion's corpse, frowning at the desecrated body.

A fitting end for a sorrowful individual, Emert mused.

(Whew, finally got back around here after some unfortunatley ill-timed computer-breaking-down-shenanigans, let's wrap this shiz up with a nice bow)

A group of soldiers made their way gingerly over the decimated warped metal that remained of the Evraius. They walked over and saw the close-up view of the devestation that had been cause. A single soldier stepped forward- his uniform designating him as a commander.

"Those.... those were Kamyn. You... tore open Evraius and killed the Kamyn. My... my god. They've done it."

The commander knelt before the few survivors. His soldiers followed suit, and then the entire crowd around the ship was kneeling at the climbers. The god-slayers. The saviours of humanity.

When they next realized it all the sirviving climbers were in a small infirmiry at a guard post near the locations of Evraius. Several doctors were looking over them and tending to their wounds. They were safe, and they could heal now...

As this was happening, a single voice rang out in the mind of every remaining climber. It was Evra's voice. the AI had since disappeared from physicial space, but the reactor was still running, and he was still alive.

"I have one last question for you survivors... what shall I do now? I have several choices. I may shut down my reactor, ending my life and ceasing all nanomachine activities for decades, I may simply lie dormant and let humanity continue along without the Kamyn's presence and still using their "magic", or I may send out a neural signals to all nanomachines encoded with all you have learned on your journey, giving the knowledge of the nature of the Kamyn and magic to all the people here."

The choice was theirs.

"This is... you battle is won. What world do you want to create now?"

Slowly opening his eyes as he heard unknown voices approach him Tristan opened his eyes and looked to the side to see his fellow survivours lying on beds and being treated by a number of doctors "owe looks like pulled us out of the wreckage of the Evraius while we were passed out" Slowly Tristan began to sit up and as he did he heard Evra's voice giving a slight smirk Tristan gave a slight smile "I say let them know the truth everyone has the right to know our origin it may cause more problems down the line for all of us but there isn't any path that wont have problems to deal with after all no path can ever have light without darkness to follow it" The next part Tristan said so only Evra could hear "but Evra i have a request to lower the chances of something like the Kamyn ever happening again if you could please disable the Nanomachines that can function with Kamyn level power atleast if that is done it will be one less problem for future generations to deal with done the line in case someone gets greedy and try's to pull anything funny" with that Tristan finished speaking to Evra as he suddenly heard his stomach growl "Ahahaha guess I'm kind of hungry after all that fighting and that nice sleep there isn't a chance anyone has any food on them is there ahahaha"

A loaf of delightfully warm and fluffy bread landed on Tristan's lap. The Doctor tore a hunk out of his own loaf, and bit into it. "Best bread you'll find for miles. Don't cut it with your sword though, it'll probably disappear." The Doctor told Tristan, without looking at him. He bit another piece out of his bread. Warthrop swallowed, then spoke up. "I see no reason for us not to continue using nanomachines. They've done as much good as they've done harm. But I do agree with Tristan, let them know the truth, and limit the potential for Kamyn level power." The Doctor said. In his mind, it was the most logical path they could take. It was also the only real thing he could consider. The job of a scientist such as himself was to reveal the truth to the rest of the world. "Also, this may sound slightly selfish, but if we were to be rid of the nanomachines, my livelihood would completely disappear. I have almost completely determined that the aberrant biology that I study was created from nanomachines that bonded with the wildlife of this world. So, forgive me for not wanting my entire career to go down the drain." The Doctor continued, mentioning another reason that he didn't particularly want the nanomachines to go away.

"Oh. And I apologize for anything I may have done while I was under the influence. I do not recall any of it, so specifics are completely absent, but I am all but sure that I may have hurt some of you. I'm sorry for that."

//Hey, if you could post the burial, I had an ending for Sanya beyond this.

(Jasper's not exactly capable of burying Sanya's ashes at the moment, but I can have him take care of that in the epilogue.)

"I agree with these two, the people should know. Almost all of the worst things I've ever witnessed have been caused by deception. I can't just stand by and let the entire world believe such a massive lie. It's just not right." Jasper said to Evera. More than ever before, he believed a world without lies and manipulation would be a far better place, and while he knew he could never wipe those things out, he wanted to protect others from them as much as he could.

(Sorry about taking a while... Oh look, a distraction! *Points towards Eddie on a motorcycle*)

Drale groaned as he slowly opened his eyes, and sat up in his bed. "A hospital? Well, it beats a Vedik prison any day on the year," he muttered as he stretched his arms out. He wasn't exactly a fan of hospitals, but he was glad he could finally relax. And then the voice of Evra appeared in his head. "Another voice in my head? Well, I'm used to it by now," were his first thoughts upon hearing the voice. When Evra finished, leaving him with the choice, he thought, "Leave us with no nanomachines? That seems pointless. Humans will still fight, with magic or not." After that, he finally heard the rest of the survivors. "I agree. These people deserve the knowledge of the truth behind the Kaymn. After all the things the Kaymn have done to them, it's the least we can do. Now, I must pose a question, as the last remaining Vedik spy, althugh as you know, I thoroughly renounce the title.. How can we prevent the Vediks from seizing the reactors? For I do not want a repeat of what we have just gone through, on an even large scale," he said. He had barely survived this, if he counted his two deaths.
