I've noticed that a lot of people consider II to be their personal favorite in the series. I'm personally curious why it tends to beat out the others by a landslide. Now, before anyone assumes otherwise, I'm not trying to say that II is a bad game. It's not at all; it's one of my favorite games ever. I'm just curious as to why it seems to beat out the others by such a large margin. I've seen a lot of people (Especially after that recent poll) saying that II is easily the best, and that the others don't even compare. I've personally considered I to be better than II. I'm not trying to insult others, or start any fights. I'm just honestly curious why II seems to be the most popular of the bunch. Sorry if I came off as offensive, that was not my intention at all. I'm not trying to belittle the game at all, just looking to learn more.

In my opinion, the first one was so good, fans wanted to see what was next. The game was visually better, lasted longer, had  more emotional and memorable scenes. Lastly, I believe the easy, yet simple combat system felt more fun  than the first.

I liked KHI over KHII because it was just so touching to me and kept me on my toes. The story was brilliant and it immersed me into a world of rich characters and the beginning of an unforgettable journal; however, my favorite in the series is Birth by Sleep or KH3D.

I consider it the best because it was my first KH title that made me love the series. Even when I played all the other KH games, and even now I have to say KHII is the best KH to me, I loved everything of it, maybe without any specific reason.

I couldn't tell for sure since I love all the chapters in the same way, every one just have its own charm and awesomeness!

Best story and gameplay in my opinion! Plus you didn't just visit a world once which made it better!

Personally I thought it had a great world selection, better combat, and was just great.
