i keep clicking Spoilers, even though I haven't watched Ep 9  yet

You'll be fine after watching Ep. 8 after all only time travelers and light novel readers know what probably happens in episode 9+. (at the time of this post) On a more serious note, yeah...you really should ignore all chat about a show until you are caught up, especially spoilered chat. After all in the most extreme cases spoilered messages can contain surprise deaths.

Well, new episode!

 

 

Good, Kirito came in to save Sinon... Death Gun's still being scary as ever, though. That chase scene... Holy crap, that was tense.

 

Also, Kirito and Sinon finally came clean about the murders they committed. Looks like things are going to get a lot more serious next episode! I think that the GGO arc will end in two or three more episodes, since it seems like we're coming to the close. Also, no cliffhanger this time! These past few episodes have really been picking up, I can't wait to see how the finish off the arc!

Yep. I accidentally spoiled what comes after GGO (Not any specific events, just what it's about), so I'm excited to see that arc. Not that GGO is bad, I'm really liking GGO.

Death Gun's identity is the big spoiler my friend told me about. It's been eating away at me all season. >_< Uuugh.

Holy cow, this just keeps getting more intense. I think I might actually like this more than the first season (or series... whatever it was, anime confuses me with how it handles things). And that's an accomplishment on its part, seeing as how I dislike games like GGO (gritty shooters) while I love fantasy (like SAO and ALO).

You were right the second time. SAO and SAO II are considered their own series, respectively, as in SAO II is a sequel to SAO.

I'm guessing next episode will be a big fight between Kirito, Sinon, and Death Gun. They'll probably end it off next week, since I feel like this arc will end off at episode 14 like the first arc in season one did. Also... Since when could Yui communicate over a phone?

All I'm looking for is a better ending to the first part of SAO. We need something better than Kayaba just showing up at the last minute and saying "Oh, I did this because reasons," in like, a vague monologue about creating the world and junk.

You did know it, and also the theme song hinted at it.Moving on....I am going to start getting worried about the writer if the next ark has a female protagonist getting molested or nearly raped by a foe in the end of the arc... Because this makes 2 arcs in a row.... I know it kind of makes sense with both characters... but still....

Shinkawa being Death Gun is the last big spoiler my friend told me before the arc started, so I'm all free now. Woo. It was so tough keeping it a secret... Also, I agree that we've probably just got one more episode of GGO left. We'll wrap things up next time, I guess.

I had a feeling that Shinkawa was Death Gun. Something about that guy iffs me and seeing today's episode. . .  Going creepy molesting mode on Sinon, watching that entire scene for 5+ minutes made me go crazy. Glad Sinon found her true strength within herself. I freaking lost it when Shinkawa repeated her name over and over again. I almost yelled "WHERE THE F*CK ARE YOU KIRITO!?" and suddenly he shows up and kicked that bastard's face. I immediately went "HELL YEAH!! BEAT THE LIVING HELL OUT OF THAT ******!!!" and immediately got pissed at the cliffhanger.

 

Can't wait for next week's episode!

Frickin' Hulu had the episode's thumbnail be a shot of Shinkawa's crazy face, so I knew something was up with him. 'Course, I had suspected it a bit because of the opening, but I would've liked not expecting him to go full insane.

 

That said, I loved this episode. The fight between Kirito and Death Gun was great, and tying by "mutual" grenade induced suicide was awesome (and lulz worthy). The entire second half with Sinon was incredibly tense, Shinkawa's crazy molestation rage was unexpected (kinda) and quite unnerving. I cheered when Sinon fought back, and then again when Kirito kneed that jerk in the face.

 

'dat cliffhanger though. /rage

Yeah, that thumbnail... Scared me when I saw it. Forgot it was Shinkawa, though. And yeah, he went freaking insane. I was watching it on my PS3, so I had to turn the volume down during that whole scene... Things would have been really awkward if someone heard. ._.
