I'm pretty sure people said the same thing about 3D movies whenever Avatar was released.

I guess. both Sony and Oculus are not sure where the virtual reality thing is going to be in the future, so we're not sure if this will fail or pass yet. We are probably going to have to wait for answers.

SAO 2.0 :3

we can all dream

I guess.

Virtual Reality has been around for years. There's nothing really new about the idea. It's just a matter of refining and streamlining the tech to make it easy to develop for and easy for the public to use.

No thanks I don't need to strap weird goggles on my face and cause headaches and seizures

I'd rather play my games the good ol fashion way

Well that is your opinion so.... I would rather see them trying it then not trying it at all because you don't know if people will actually like it or not.

when you think about it logically virtual reality the likes of something like Sword Art Online isn't completely impossible but to actually develop a machine that could envelop the human mind in a virtual reality that is actually believable to the mind your looking at a machine that will need to be simultaneously be able to continuously scan the brain to reflect the actions of the mind into the game and a machine that can also project the surrounding area the player would be in seeing in a real sense now technically we already have in existences machines that can scan to human brain but not machines that would be able to do it to a level that would be required for virtual reality now protecting a virtual image into the human eye to create the surroundings wouldnt be to difficult a matter in fact the Oculus already preforms this task in a rather simple method the problem here is the matter of dealing with the action reaction problem of the area if i remember right from a video i saw on the oculus a while back they were still actually having some trouble with having the camera's reacting fast enough to follow the movement of the human eye besides this theres also matters that some type of mechanics may need to be involved in the human body to make this method work perfectly but i've said enough for now on the subject
