Something I noticed is that Kingdom Hearts 1 has far better graphics then Final Fantasy and they only have one year of difference. Also, isn't FF the game that's meant to look realistic, while Kingdom Hearts's meant to blend into the Disney universe?

 

FFX has glued hands, more default faces and weak textures, whille KH follows a different path: normal hands, some default faces and detailed ones and good textures.

 

What do you think?

You also have to understand that FFX is far more expanded and more detailed in options and land.. So there are many scenes and such, so it`s harder to animate when there's a deadline.. Not to mention development on FFX and KH started at the same time, giving the KH team longer development than FFX even when it`s on a smaller scale.

Of course Kingdom Hearts looks better than FFX,''realistic'' graphics age really quicky compare to cartoony graphics,its like Twilight Princess vs Wind Waker,Twilight Princess looks good,but the graphics are dated compare to Wind Waker that still looks good even today.

Yup!

FFX is MUCH larger than KH1 and was released awhile before it. Also the two teams who worked on the games are both in the same division of Square so they were able learn from the other team.
