So this is sorta a dumb question out of the blue but I thought you anti form was in the drive menu in Kingdom Hearts 2 final mix. But now I'm not so sure after watching some stuff on YouTube. So to confirm my doubt, is anti form in the drive menu in Kingdom Hearts 2 final mix?

 

I really hope Anti-Form doesnt make it into KH3

AntiForm is technically the manifestation of Sora's darkness, residing within his Heart, hinting his Heartless still has a grasp over his Heart. Sora's Heartless is still there, so I can see him doing a come back in Kingdom Hearts III one way or another

 

 

I understand why he added it, but I seriously wish he didn't add it. Just remember facing Xaldin and when I needed Master Form badly, just remember dying everytime!

But it would suck if I had the Anti-Form available all the time! The exhilarating part of unleashing the Anti-Form was that it was unpredictable! When I was defeating throngs of Heartless, when I was about to activate a Drive Form, I suddenly see Sora transform into a raging beast of pure darkness! The unpredictability of the Anti-Form is what makes it so awesome! The only bad thing though is that being in Anti-Form lowers your defense greatly, so yeah, if you don't watch your back, your toast.

Well, even though you can't predict it precisely, you can base your strategy on this fact: AntiForm has an hidden counter that increases by one point when using any form except the Final Form. The percentage to fall in AntiForm starts to get high from 10 AntiPoints and above, so you just have to count and rely on your instinct (and luck). Also, the counter doesn't increase when a Fusion is used in the period in which a party member is K.O., getting a new Fusion Form resets the counter, falling in AntiForm subtracts 4 points to the counter and Final Form subtracts 10 points. Chance to fall in AntiForm is twofold when facing a mission, fivefold when facing an Org. XIII member and tenfold during the Final Battles.

Why would you want it though? Everything about anti-form stinks, except its high damage output. You cant heal, you have no allies, you cant revert, you cant use magic. So on critical against any boss you are pretty much screwed if you are in anti form

I beat Xigbar with Anti-Form He was about 3 bars left and I just went ham on him when I tried to get Final Form.

No, that would defeat the purpose of it. Anti-Form was a random form given as a punishment for using Drive Forms too many times at once. It wasn't meant to be used whenever you wanted. I haven't played IIFM, but looking at it logically, it simply wouldn't make sense.

Anti-form is randomly chosen when you pick valor, wisdom, or master. if you pick final form you dont have a chance. Im guessing the whole point of the thing is to tell you to stop using anti-form.

Nope. Anti-form is supposed to be UNEXPECTED.

Why would anyone want to choose Anti-Form? Sure it's fast, but the attacks are weak as hell.

Even though I didn't play KH2 at all, I can agree that Anti-Form is the worst drive,even though it makes sense.
