Which Version Of LoZ: Wind Waker Do You Prefer?

Posted

So since there's the SD GameCube version and the HD Wii U version. Which version of the game do you personally prefer over the two? For me I prefer the HD version simply because it's much faster than the GameCube version. The updated/new models look great also as well as the lighting.

The HD version of course, it's better in literally every way

I think that the hd version is better.

It's rare a HD remaster is worse than the original version (unless it's shoddy HD port like SIlent Hill or something)

Oh yeah, the Silent Hill HD Collection and the Zone of the Enders HD collections were TERRIBLE. I really hate when game devs do such a sloppy job with HD ports.

I definitely think the hd one is better, and I can't see why anyone would prefer the first one to be honest.

I've hardly played the Gamecube version (I played it for about 20 minutes at a cousins house and never again to where I didn't even know I'd played it at all til seeing a scene from it) and only just got the Zelda HD WW Wii U bundle for my birthday, but my boyfriend who's played the gamecube version since he was a kid said the HD one looks much better and plays smoother.  I also like the use of a giroscope for aiming, loved it in OoT 3D too.

The HD Remaster. So much better. And so perty

HD is the definitive version of The Wind Waker. It's faster paced, smoother, better controls, perfect integration with the gamepad, and it looks absolutely gorgeous.

Definitely the HD version I never played it on Gamecube, but given what was added to the Wii U version, that's definitely the best version. Anyone who prefers the Gamecube version clearly hasn't seen the Wii U version.
