The only director whose name I actually notice is Tim Burton, and that's generally 'cause I've watched a lot of his movies and Corpse Bride used to be my favourite film.  I recognize that there's other great directors but honestly those who make the film doesn't really matter to me.  I watch so many movies anyway it'd be  hard to remember.
