Ok, so after seeing the status by Lolitacosplayer i've been doing research on these ''threats''

I don't know why but every time i hear stuff like this, or end of the world predictions, a part of me always panicks

 

Should i be worried about this, or should i just calm down?

The Purge is just an unrealistic work of Hollywoood. If this will happen, I'm sure most people won't go on a mad killing spree. I think most of them would steal things they need, and things they want.

 

Ya' know, stealing a bunch of clothes, food, household items, maybe a couple game consoles and computers.

Hey, if there was an actual Purge i would bake a cookie that could possibly give me diabetes. 

You know this really pisses me off how people try to imitate movies and it's only because they find it awesome. Well it's going to bite them right in the ass. I doubt it's gonna happen because since the police is on high alert, they'll notice immediately if something is off. And do not worry, the government wouldn't make a purge day. Society won't survive if one purge day happens. Also what happens in a movie, should stay in a movie.

There's a small threat that one's being talked about starting tonight where I live.

 

Gotta admit, I might grab a huge steak knife and if anyone breaks into my house, they really should be prepared to accept the consequences.  :biggrin:

 

Note: I live in Lexington, it's only a few hours away from Louisville.

Well Lexington and Louisville are the two biggest cities in Kentucky, and Lexington's got some pretty shady areas, so yeah. I could see it happening.

 

I can definitely see things going really bad. Really quickly.

Well it's already passed the "purge" in one of the towns/cities and the most I've heard is that someone snuck into the zoo and freed the zebras.
