My mom didn't let me watch Cartoon Network without asking until I was 7 or 8, and they especially disliked me watching the Grim adventures of billy and mandy for whatever reason. I remember it being pretty much harmless, with shows like fosters home for imaginary friends and ed,edd, and eddy. I still have no idea why they banned me from watching it without asking for such a long time. They did let me watch pokemon and all that junk though. 

(yet they let me watch ren&stimpy when I was little, weird)

I didn't watch anything inappropriate, so nobody ever had to told me not to watch something.

My mom didn't like it when I watched Power Rangers because of all the violence and monsters and stuff.  My dad allowed me to watch it though, so I did.  My mom just never liked the idea of it. 

Really? My parents were perfectly fine with me watching Power Rangers, and other superhero stuff.

 

They weren't very strict about what i could watch and what not 

I never got banned for something like that owo

 

I do remember that I used to stay away from Courage when I was a little kid, by my own choice

None.

Well for me it was Dragonball, The Dinos and the Simpsons later on when i was around 8 years old they also wanted that i stop watching pokémon but i rebelled against that!    And i won the argument

When I was younger, I basically couldn't watch anything on Cartoon Network late at night.

Of couse, me and my big sister had our ways of watching some of these shows

I was never allowed to watch The Simpsons. I think that's the only show I was restricted on.

South Park was pretty much the only thing, for obvious reasons.
