(OKAY GUYS. Just a quick few things I forgot to mention. Please follow this rp so that y'all will know when a post is made, and also if someone doesn't post for a while just let that person know. On with the rp!)"I hope you all amuse me..."Roxas was already up in this fine morning in Asnia. Usually his brother woke up first, however the sounds of his father working always woke Roxas right up. He wanted to see the cool new weapons that were being made. He swung around downstairs, said hi to his mother, and ran right outside to greet his father at the forge. "Hey dad!"The father chuckled, and showed Roxas a rather fancy looking sword. "This here is made out of Orichalcum. Pretty deadly. Why don't you call your brother down to see?"Roxas chuckled, and slipped into the front door. "NERD-""Roxas!" The father scolded."...Ventus! Dad wants you to wake up and come downstairs!" he turned right back around. He expected Ventus to be up anyway... he did after all, put a spider on his pillow. If Roxas had a watch, he would check it. "I give it three seconds." he mused to himself.

Meanwhile, another page in a storybook was currently scrambling to get ready for his own day. This man was Corvo Attano. He was to adopt from an orphanage that day; and unfortunately he had just gotten back from a rather deadly contract he just completed. Escorting a messenger through a dungeon. How bad could it be? He currently was living in an inn, however for legal purposes he bought a little cottage like home next to the inn and some farmer and her magic student son. One of the maids was fixing him up."Corvo, you look like a mess."I know, I know." He ran a hand through his hair. "Look, I gotta go. See you soon.""Corvo!"He turned around. "What?"

The maid sighed. "You have blood on your face." The man sighed and just licked his thumb to wipe the blood off. He just then hurried out the door to go to the orphanage. He didn't want to be late.

Ventus yawned and went downstairs. "Good morning mom."

"Good morning, Ventus. Roxas and your dad are outside in the forge."

Ventus sat down to eat breakfast. "Ah. I'll go with them after I'm done." He yawned again. "Ventus, didn't you sleep last night?" said his mom."

"Oh. Um... I-I was reading a book." he said.

After he finished eating, Ventus went to the forge.

---Later---

Ventus was reading a book outside. A book about magic of course. He started to think about that charm Roxas

bought last night. "A purple glow..." he said to himself.

~Link Baxter~"Oh.. hey Silver." Link said, trying not to sound to ecstatic. He didn't want to get anyone in trouble. Well, more trouble. He was sure that people were already out to get the Mage and his rescuer. "I just came to see if you're alright."

Silver smiled. He didn't expect for Link to be here. It made him pretty happy that at least someone was pleasant here in Asnia. Everyone that he met here was rude or wanted to kill him. Sure, he was a Mage but he didn't cast any spells here except for when he was teaching Link in the forest. "I'm doing fine, thanks!" He was rather excited himself to show. Link some more tricks. "How is that boy with the blonde hair from yesterday? Does he live with you?"

Meanwhile Vanitas was there, again. He stood by at the side of a building nearby the house of the twins. Unfortunately he couldn't do what he intended. However he had a even better idea now. "What was that idea you mentioned last night?" Vanitas asked Dawn as he messed around with a relic in his hands.

Roxas watched his father as he crafted a new sword on the anvil.

"What's Ventus doing?" The father asked.

Roxas shrugged. Ventus was doing what he always did. "Doing nerd things."

The father glared.

"...which is reading." He never said what Ventus was reading. Their parents would kill them if they knew he and Ventus were reading about magic.

The father smiled fondly at the thought of Ventus reading. "That's my boy."

~Link Baxter~"Miles? Well, he isn't exactly happy with me at the moment. I kind of made him mad, but I just said what I did to get him out of the house, so he wouldn't follow me here." Link said, rubbing the back of his head. That's when he noticed he didn't have his cap with him. He probably forgot it at the breakfast table. "Can we talk, perhaps, somewhere more private?"~Dawn Estheim~"Well" she started, mischievous as always. "The guards here? Easily persuaded. And I happen to know that the stranger is the one who painted that red symbol on the wall. And everyone knows what happens to magic sympathizers here. They get a few days in jail, before they're finally executed." She said menacingly. "So, for a few days, he'll be out of the way while you can get your business done."

Roxas grinned. He looked to his new found friends. "Don't worry guys." He said. He sat next to Yu, and smiled. "Hey, how about you hang out with us sometime? I'll be fun." As the guard kept arguing, he looked to Tails and shook his head. "Wait." He realize he saw a perfect opening. He took out from his pocket a slingshot. "We don't even have to stand up. Watch this." He snatched a rock from the ground, pulled back the sling, and shot it through the air and right into the guard's lower back. Bullseye.The guard kept on arguing, when all of a sudden he let out a loud, girlish scream as a rock the size of a bullet hit him right above his backside. "AHH!" He leaned foward and put his hands on his lower back where the bullet had hit. "WHO EVER DID THAT WILL PAY!"Silver jumped. He wasn't expecting that power from the newbie. "Wow, that was great!" He said with a smile. "It's kinda dangerous to practice fire magic in a forest..." He went fishing around in his bag. "Ahh, but I don't have any other spell tomes. I primarily study psychic magic, but I don't have any way to teacth you those without taking some time." He looked to the burnt mark in the tree. "Perfect for your first spell! You're a natural."Corvo rubbed the back of his head. Thane... That former assassin might be the only person Corvo couldn't read. He at least had an idea of what Alvin had in his mind. Now Thane was a challenge. The man was very mysterious to him. Still, Corvo knew him from jobs they've done together in the past and he still considered Thane an ally. "I don't mind. You're both the closest I have to family." That's when he realized something; he didn't know if he could prevent Minato from being exposed to the work that they do. He'd have to explain it to Minato later. Hopefully Minato will be okay with it. Corvo bet if he really did go to that appointment he'd probably never been able to adopt from there anyway.

(To my knowledge, this is the last post with Corvo in it. I have no idea what to do time wise. I'll take this one post at a time.)

When Corvo had made his decision, Minato said, "I'll call you Corvo for now, if that's alright with you." Whilst Alvin was having his private conversation with Corvo, Minato stood back, his hands in his pockets. He wasn't going to interrupt them, and he doubted that the conversation concerned him. When Corvo looked over to Minato, and asked if he had anyplace in mind, Minato replied, "Nope. Honestly, I'm not bothered. Go anywhere you'd like." He then looked intently at Thane, wondering who he was. (This took far longer than I had intended it to. Well, I hope you like it.)

Scotsman continues down the street not paying a care to the world around him as he looks at the signs and posts.

"Somethin' don't feel quite right here....like something's off kilter....ehe, kilt-er.....hehe...."

Kirby's bright pink hair shined in the sun as he helped Skelly up. He bolted up a bit as he heard a familiar voice. He looked from around the tree and saw the Scotsman. Kirby's eyes lit up as he showed that familiar grin. In a rush of excitement, he grabbed Skelly's arm and they rushed back to town. Kirby couldn't wait for his new friend to meet his older ones!

~~~~~
When Kirby and Skelly made it into town, Kirby shouted at the Scotsman in excitement as they approached. Kirby was so happy to see him again.
"Poyo! Poyo!", Kirby shouted as him and Skeleton came closer.
Delsin set out with his new goal in mind,  but didn't know where to start. he was walking around, hoping for something to jump out at him. He saw two guys walking down the road together, having a conversation. This was perfectly normal, but one had a satchel with with paper sticking out of it. It looked old. Delsin thought this person might be a mage. Delsin had a sea of doubts, like what is this was the dark mage? what if he isn't a mage, and snitches on him? despite this, he walked up to the duo anyway. "hello! My names Delsin. i couldn't help but notice the paper sticking out of your bag there. Do you mind if i ask you a few questions?"
Skelly was surprised that Kirby took off so quickly with him. Skeleton actually hated the sunlight. Once he saw the scotsman, he gasped.
"I saw you with one of my friends yesterday!" He yelled at the Scotsman, refering to Ender.
Scotsman looks over and waves at Kirby, walking over. He unintentionally pushes a random citizen out of his way.
"OI! Hello there, Kirby! How are you this morning, wee laddie!?"
He then looks at Skeleton, and raises a thick red eyebrow.
"Oh? And which peppie laddie are ya referring to, wee lad?"
"Well Ender is talk...skinny...goth looking...and really quick." Skeleton explained to Scotsman.
"I am his friend. Skeleton." He said, bowing slightly to the man.
The back of Skelly's bow hit his own head.
Scotsman nods, folding his large arms as he remembers.
"Aye, I know exactly who ye are talkin' about now, wee peppy. Nice ta meet ya, Skeleton."
He then raises an eyebrow at Skelly's bow, and puts a hand out for him to shake.
"Do ya mind if I called you Skeletor?..."
Thane bowed slightly to Corvo.
"My thanks." He said. "This shall be...interesting."
Finding Minato watching him, Thane looked the boy in the eyes in return. He didn't seem challenging in his stare, just seeking understanding.
"Pardon my manners." Thane said politely to Monato. "My name is Thane Krios."
Vanitas grinned. Perfect. He admired Dawn's dark ideas. "I was thinking something similar... Let's both be tattle tales today. I'll tell you when to go find a guard. I just need a perfect opening so wait for it..." He watched the twins, waiting for the appropriate moment.
Silver nodded. "I know the right place." He gestured Link and led him to his room. Once they were both inside, he shut the door and locked it tight. "The walls are thick with the oak logs they're made out of, so if we talk quietly we should be okay..." He sat down on a chair next to the bed. "Hey, about Miles, I think you should let him know that you're now learning... You know."
(I'm just gonna do a small time skip for Corvo and whatnot.)
Corvo smiled. "Thank you." He looked to Minato. "Let's go to the eatery in town... That should be nice."
The next day, Corvo already showed Minato his room which took months to prepare. He was currently preparing some food and what not for lunch. He expected Thane and Alvin to show up to eat. It will be a few days until he'd take another contract, and he didn't want to wait too much longer to tell Minato his occupation. Currently, he wasn't aware to the small yipping of maybe a small animal infront of the front door.
"Woof woof!"
~Link Baxter~ Link was a bit shocked at first, that Silver would take any kind of interest in his personal life."I... can't," he muttered, "If Miles knew what I was doing... It wouldn't end well. For either of us." Link dropped his head, letting it stare down towards the planked floor. Link didn't know all what he could tell Silver. He had only just met the guy yesterday. Still, he was trustworthy enough.
Ventus closed his book and stood up. He went over to Roxas. "Well, there's nothing else to do. How about we go to town. And who knows, we might find
something interesting to do." Yup... Ventus was bored. REALLY bored. But before anything, Ventus went upstairs to his room and hided the book in a secret
place only he and Roxas know about.
Namine sat down. There wasn't many customer's today. But it was definitely the shortest day ever. She took her sketch book and a pencil.
As she started to draw in her sketch book, she found the pages where Kirby did his drawings.
She smiled, and wondered where he was. "Pretty sure he made some friends by now..." she said.
The man quickly dismissed Del as a beggar and hurried off with his friend. Delsin went back to searching. after an hour or so of wandering around the village, he became discouraged. he was worried about what would happen when he met that girl again that evening. what would he do if she tried to harm him? he couldn't defend against her dark magic. he went back to the inn to grab his trusty knife. it was a gift from his father before he was killed. but, in his distraction, he went down the wrong corridor. he hadn't noticed until he heard a hushed exchange coming form one of the rooms. he was curious, so he eavesdropped. They were saying something about  "your learning magic." Magic! He found someone who could teach him! He wanted to go in, but all the possible ways this could go wrong swirled in his head. What if they attacked him? What if they denied everything and blamed him? These things almost made Del move on, but he couldn't pass up a chance to learn magic. So, Quite hesitantly and against his better judgement, he opened the door.
(Yay for time skips!) Whilst Corvo was cooking, Minato walked over to the door. He listened intently, and asked, "Do you hear that? It sounds like a dog." He then opened the door slightly, to see what, exactly, was making that noise. "I wonder if it's a dog. That would be interesting," he thought to himself, as he looked at what ever was making the sound.
~Link Baxter~ Startled by the intrusion, Link jumped up off his seat. He was unable to hide his shock, and failed to mutter even a word. He looked to Silver, hoping he would say something.
"Before you say anything, i'm not here to turn you in. i heard you talking about magic, and i want to learn it. Please teach me. I've always wanted to become a mage, and recently have discovered the presence of a dark mage in the town. I need to be able to defend my self. Look, you know what, its a long story. if you'll let me, ill tell it, but i promise not to betray you. i truly want to become a mage." He waited anxiously for a reply.
After some time conversing with the Scotsman and Skelly, Kirby decided to find Namine again. He motioned for his two friends to follow him to the flower shop. Once there, he stood on his tip toes and knocked on the store's front door. After they met each other, maybe he could treat them all to lunch with the money Skeleton gave him.
As they waited, Kirby dug in his pockets and pulled out his star shard to look at it some more. He examined it in the sunlight and it gave off a beautiful yellow flare. He now seems happy to have it. He knows he'll find out what it is. Only time will tell. He smiled while looking at the shard sparkle.
Scotsman enjoys friendly conversation, and eagerly follows the two to Namine's shop. The large man had a hard time squeezing in and not bumping any pots with his broad shoulders.
"Oi...it smells like a lovely garden in here....even the fairest of maidens would come to get a whiff of this place..."
Namine opens the door. "Oh! Kirby! Hey!" She then realized he had company. "Oh. Are they your friends?"
She stepped aside a bit. "Please, come in." she said smiling. Namine was glad to see Kirby again. She hears someone's comment.
"Ah. Well, thank you, I guess." She turned around to them. "I'm Namine. Nice to meet you two."
Scotsman looks at Namine, and bows politely...well, as far as a bow he can properly give in his kilt.
"Nice ta meet ya, Namine. I don't know me own name, so just call me the Scotsman."
He makes sure to be careful in the shop.
Kirby sat down in a chair. He told Namine about all that happened while he was gone. How he meet Skelly, Scotsman, Miles, Ventus, Roxas, and Yu. He also spoke of seeing a bunch of symbols around on his way to town. He talked about how nice his new friends were.
Suddenly, the was a faint high-pitched twinkling sound. Kirby sat there, frozen for a moment. He took out his star shard and was in shock on what he saw. The shard made a quiet high-pitched sound and slowly flashed a faint shade of red in the middle. Odd. Kirby thought it was probably nothing, but at the same time, he couldn't help but feel something wasn't right. He put the shard on the table so everyone else could see.
"Poyo??"
He fluttered his eyes at Namine.
