(OKAY GUYS. Just a quick few things I forgot to mention. Please follow this rp so that y'all will know when a post is made, and also if someone doesn't post for a while just let that person know. On with the rp!)"I hope you all amuse me..."Roxas was already up in this fine morning in Asnia. Usually his brother woke up first, however the sounds of his father working always woke Roxas right up. He wanted to see the cool new weapons that were being made. He swung around downstairs, said hi to his mother, and ran right outside to greet his father at the forge. "Hey dad!"The father chuckled, and showed Roxas a rather fancy looking sword. "This here is made out of Orichalcum. Pretty deadly. Why don't you call your brother down to see?"Roxas chuckled, and slipped into the front door. "NERD-""Roxas!" The father scolded."...Ventus! Dad wants you to wake up and come downstairs!" he turned right back around. He expected Ventus to be up anyway... he did after all, put a spider on his pillow. If Roxas had a watch, he would check it. "I give it three seconds." he mused to himself.

Meanwhile, another page in a storybook was currently scrambling to get ready for his own day. This man was Corvo Attano. He was to adopt from an orphanage that day; and unfortunately he had just gotten back from a rather deadly contract he just completed. Escorting a messenger through a dungeon. How bad could it be? He currently was living in an inn, however for legal purposes he bought a little cottage like home next to the inn and some farmer and her magic student son. One of the maids was fixing him up."Corvo, you look like a mess."I know, I know." He ran a hand through his hair. "Look, I gotta go. See you soon.""Corvo!"He turned around. "What?"

The maid sighed. "You have blood on your face." The man sighed and just licked his thumb to wipe the blood off. He just then hurried out the door to go to the orphanage. He didn't want to be late.

Roxas hummed. Now that he thought about it, Nobody sounded pretty cool. He looked over to Ventus. Nerd King wasn't good enough. It was pretty mean after all. "How about instead of Nerd King, why not Somebody? You are my twin and all so it makes sense..." He snickered. "Or, since you like the wind so much how about something like Wayward Wind? It's pretty long but it fits." He rubbed the back of his head. "Where in the world did I get that idea from?"

Namine smiled. "Hello Yu, hello Naomi."

"Wayward Wind? Um... I guess it's okay." Ventus really didn't care much for code names, but oh well.

Roxas gave a curt nod. Everyone had code names. This was perfect. "Great!" He suddenly paused. He thought about his father being locked up in jail. "Wait, guys." Roxas muttered. "Whoever did this isn't going to leave us alone... What if he targets all of you guys? We don't even know who he is."

Meanwhile the said villain currently grabbed a petty thief from around the corner of the store nearby the inn and ripped his hand through the man's chest, stealing his soul. Luckily they were alone aside from the villains partner. There was no blood; only just a sinister purple smoke. Vanitas looked at the light purple soul in his hand. "Ugh." He clicked his tongue. "I need to find a pure soul. These worthless things won't give me any sort of power..." He summoned a black force around the orb, turning it black. He then absorbed it into his body. "Pathetic thief. Dawn, I need to find some pure souls. The weaker of the twins looked interesting..."

"Well then nobody, if that person really wants to come and mess with us, they better be ready for a surprise, because were a team now, and were gonna stop him!" Delsin smiled at the boys. "not to mention save your father." he looked around at his new friends. tails, nobody, wayward wind, and him, smoke. they were a team. delsin was estatic to be apart of something. it was great.

~Miles "Tails" Thompson~ "No worries!" he shouted loudly. "Not only will we save your father, but we'll save everyone!" Miles was so excited and so happy to have other people with him. "After what me and Del did together today, there's no way anyone could stop us, especially with you two helping out!" Miles brought his fist close to his chest. "We'll do this with ease. Why? Because nobody can stop the oncoming storm that we're bringing!"~Dawn Estheim~ "I see what you mean." Dawn looked around for someone they could consider a little more pure. A man in green started dashing their way. Dawn saw this as an opportunity to cash in an extra soul. "Vanitas, how about him?"~Link Baxter~ "Yeah, he's my friend. He's fine, I hope. Thank you for telling me." Link quickly ran over to the area Kirby had pointed. He looked around, but couldn't find Miles. He looked towards the Inn, and saw a few faces in a window on the top floor. One of them was Miles. "Miles!" He was about to dash into the inn before interrupted. "Hello there. Can I interest you in some wares?" A girl with a light voice and blue hair had approached him. "Sorry, I've got to save my friend." Link once again tried to dash away, but he was stopped by the surprisingly strong girl. "Perfect." She whispered, as she dragged him back to a dark man.

Roxas nodded. "Yeah!" He raised his wooden sword in triumph. It had many scratches and tears from years of sparing with his brother. He traced his finger over the markings. "My dad kept some of the weapons he made in a special spot. Maybe we can grab some. I always wanted a real sword anyway." He looked to Ven. "We need to check our secret spot." 'Hopefully Ven's book is still there...'

Meanwhile Vanitas kept his hood up as Dawn retrieved the man. He knew who Link was; he heard of his skill before. That could prove to be a very strong sword. Pure? Maybe. It has to be pure enough for a man as noble as he is. He knew he was treading on thin water here. He needed to be careful for he knew Link was strong. He decided to go with the 'friendly' approach and then steal his soul when he had the chance. "It's Link Baxter." Vanitas said with a grin. "A man with skill such as yours should learn some magic."

~Miles "Tails" Thompson~ This was getting quite intense. Yesterday, he never would've thought that he'd be saving people and joining Vigilante teams. Four members so far. He wondered if they would get more over time?~Link Baxter~ Link struggled as the Dark Mage spoke.   "I did." Link concentrated on the heat and intensity of the fireball he had created yesterday, hoping that he could repeat the job. He began to feel the same euphoria he had felt before, he felt the magic surging through him. In an instant, he let it all go, releasing the desired blast.

Vanitas was knocked back onto the ground. He braced himself and deflected some of the magic with his arms. Link knew magic... That means another Mage must be here. Most likely a light Mage. Lovely. At least now he had yet another possible target in the future. He'd go for that target after he was finished with Ventus and maybe that Kirby kid. He saw Kirby with the others when Yu had passed out on the ground. Just by looking at him Vanitas could tell Kirby was pure. The more pure the soul the more power will be gained when it's converted to darkness. He got off of the ground, and brushed himself off. Looks like the friendly approach wasn't going to work. Always had to be the hard way. Then again, Vanitas loved the hardway. "You think your little magic trick is going to do anything to me?" He suddenly felt a sharp burn in his arms. That spell was powerful. Despite the burn, Vanitas acted like he wasn't hurt at all. "Looks like I'll have to strike down a 'legend'... Oh well." He suddenly casted a similar version of the spell towards Link, this time the fire was a sinister purple and blue.

"Thank you Namine, we'll be heading now." Yu said with a smile.

Yu and Naomi left the shop with a wave and headed home.

(Sorry for the short post, I'm kinda a bit upset at the moment.)

( D: what's wrong?)

Kirby turned to Yu and Naomi with a smile and waved goodbye to them.

"Bye bye!~", he shouted at them.

Afterwords, he had a thought. He turned to Skeleton and poked him lightly, asking him where his friends were and if he could meet them. Kirby wondered if they were as charming and nice as Skelly.

"Poyo?~", he asked Skeleton.

Corvo hummed for a moment. He was happy Minato didn't seem to mind. "Sometimes I have to kill people. Bad people only." He said. The puppy fell asleep in Minato's arm. "As for death... I used to be afraid when I was a merchant. I'm not anymore. I'm glad you're not afraid either. You're strong and that's the type of people who survive." He ruffled Minato's hair.

Minato Arisato.

"Bad people? That could be rather subjective, honestly. But, I don't mind. I'm sure they are bad enough," said Minato, He then tried his best to walk into the house, without waking the puppy up. "Where should we keep Koromaru?" he asked, as he wanted to know.

Shi-Long Lang

Theme (Just play this when ever he is doing something. It's that awesome.):

A loud crash echoed through the room, as the door was kicked down. A man strolled into the the house to whose door he had just kicked down, and started barking orders, "You, there! Go get the 'fingerprints'!" "You, identify the body!" "You, bring me a drink!" The scene was a grisly one, a charred corpse in the middle of the room, clearly caused by magic. In a country where magic was illegal, this was a double crime, and the kind in which Shi-Long Lang specialized. He knew that all magic had a signature, unique to both the type of magic, in this case fire, and the person casting it. And he could read it, knowing how magic worked. He was one of the few people who could read magic, in Asnia, at least. (If this messes with how canon magic works, let me know and I'll fix it. Ok?)

Namine waved back at Yu and Naomi. She then quickly headed out and closed the shop, and walked towards Kirby. "Hey! I'm back. Sorry for making you guys wait!"

Ventus stared at Roxas. "Right. Our secret spot. And... I guess we can get some of dad' weapons."  Ventus knew that dad made a sword similar to his wooden one. Same with Roxas. Except that the real ones would be a bit more heavier. "But that's okay."  he said to himself.

"Great! Well, looks like were all in agreement. Lead the way boys!" Delsin didnt know much about swords, but at leash he had some form of self defense. And he always had his trusty knife.

Corvo hummed. He figured Margie, or Margaret would do something like this. Just leave a pup for him without even giving a notice or at least some supplies. Luckily he had enough things to care for a puppy such as Koromaru. He hummed for a moment and looked down at the puppy and Minato. "I'm unsure... Ahh, why not have her sleep with you in your room until we get a proper bedding for her. Just becareful not to knock her off of the bed while you sleep." His face softened at the sight. This feeling he had was new... He had something to protect and love; his family. "I'll go prepare some goat milk for her... You can feed her if you want."

"Sounds like a plan." Roxas grinned. Finally he could wield a real sword. He always imagined what it might feel like. "We could be the fighters. Soon, I want to try dual weilding too. Like the ones that I've read assassins wield. Well, I wouldn't be an assassin obviously."

Smoke and tails followed the boys out of the inn and down the street. they had to be careful. people would be looking for them now. they passed the building smoke had vandalized what seemed like years ago. it had barely been days. even so, things were so much better now. even with all the terrible events that had transpired, things were better. he wasnt lonely anymore, and was finally doing things he could be proud of. they arrived at the twins house without any trouble. "okay boys, lead the way."

Alvin smoothed out his jacket in the mirror, and washed some blood off his hands. Goodness gracious, why did everything have to go so poorly? He checked his hair in the mirror, grimaced at the sight of it, then started to work on it. Can't be the most stylish mercenary of all when your hair's a mess and your clothes are covered in blood. Alvin was pretty vain considering his line of work, but he enjoyed looking good. I mean, who didn't? If your handsome you should make it known to all the ladies in town. Alvin glanced outside. Crap he was going to be late. This is why he should really stop making promises that require a deadline. Alvin quickly rushed out the door, grabbing his scarf on the way out. As he ran down the streets, he tied his scarf in his signature knot, and smiled. At last, he was looking proper. He made it to Corvo's home, and knocked on the door rapidly. Being Alvin, he opened the door without question. "Apologies for my timing, I was busy dealing with my overwhelming manliness." Alvin said in jest, playing off his tardiness smoothly.

As Yu and Naomi ran off, Kirby glanced at them again. He sighed a little. He still didn't get a chance to repay Yu in some way. He lifted the basket off of his head and looked into it. Maybe later tonight, he figured he could make a small basket of goods for Yu and Naomi.

Yeah.

That's what he's going to do. It would be a surprise as well! If he could manage to find their residence, that is.

He giggled at the thought of making them happy. When him, Namine, the Scotsman, and Skelly are done shopping and doing things for the day, He would do that tonight. He zipped around the market again, using the rest of his money the buy a bunch of fruits, a smaller basket, a ribbon, and some things for Namine, the Scotsman and Skeleton. He was way too excited to slow down at that moment.

He then thought about how the man in green was doing, hoping he accomplished whatever he had to do.

~Link Baxter~  Link cried out in pain, but no one seemed to hear him. No matter how many times he shouted, no matter how loud, no one came.~Dawn Estheim~ "How brilliant! His cries of pain seem to get no reaction to the public! Why do you think that is?"

~Miles "Tails" Thompson~

Once the group had reached the Twin's house, Smoke and Tails stayed back, guarding to make sure no one was watching. "Smoke, would you look at this? The town is emptying. What's going on?

Edited by Shard the Metal

Delsin turned, he was right. People were leaving in droves. He was puzzled. "Huh. I dunno mi- tails." He would need to get used to the code names. "Do you think one of us should check it out?" One of them needed to be there to keep the kids safe, but somene should go see what was up in the town.

~Miles "Tails" Thompson~ "Yeah. I'll go check it out. Good luck. If you need help, just call! Can I borrow the Dagger?"

"oh yeah, sure thing buddy." He unsheathed the knife and handed it to him. "and tails, that goes for you too. if you need us, Just yell. ill get the twins and we'll be there faster than you can say 'my friends are coming.' okay? i know last time you were on your own, but youve got backup this time." As tailes walked away, delsin yelled to him "stay alive tails. smoke, wayward wind, and nobody dosnt sound as cool." He smirked, but he meant that as much as he had ever meant anything else.

They all arrived to the house. Ventus grabbed Roxas by his arm. "Okay. Let's go to dad's forge. Smoke and Tails stayed back.

As the twins reached the forge, Ventus stopped and started to walk slowly back into the house. "I need to get the book from our secret spot!"  He

went upstairs to their room and took the book. Ventus thought they might end up needing it at some point. He went back downstairs and headed to the forge.

Corvo rolled his eyes. As much as he liked being around his allies, he hated when Alvin barged in. Why couldn't be just knock? One of these days he's going to accidentally stab him by accident out of reflex. "What a pleasant /surprise/." Corvo said, walking up to Alvin with his arms crossed. Thank god the dog didn't wake up. "You know, I would very much appreciate it if you would knock on the door and wait for me to answer." He didn't really mind if Alvin was late. He was just pissed he didn't knock. He had Minato now, so he didn't need anyone just barging in.

Vanitas grinned. The cries of pain from Link was so... Pathetic. "Maybe it's because the town is afraid... Or maybe they just simply don't care. I know I wouldnt." He laughed once Link cried out once more from another dark fire spell to the chest. "So dissapointing! Are you sure you're the Legendary Link Baxter?" He looked around. It was quiet... Too quiet. It was time to cut to the chase before things got messy. "As much as I'd like to enjoy this moment, I'm going to have to take your soul now. A noble soul such as yours will be so satisfying to convert to darkness." He readied his right hand; a dark purple aura surrounded it. He went up to Link, ready to take the kill. All of a sudden, Vanitas was knocked back a few feet by a powerful force.

"Leave him alone!" Came Silver. He panted slightly from the powerful spell. He looked to Dawn, giving her a warning. "Let him go. I don't hit girls, so I don't want to hurt you!"

Vanitas hissed and wiped some blood off the corner of his mouth. That must be the light mage that taught Link the fire spell. No matter. Just another soul to steal. He'll regret that.

Meanwhile Roxas crossed his arms. "Nobody is very cool Delsin!" Once they got to the house, Roxas looked to the older male. "Thanks for helping us again... I don't know what would've happened if it wasn't for you guys." He walked up to the forge and nodded at Ventus once he headed for the book. Roxas tore up a few floorboards around the forge and took out two swords; one specifically made for Roxas and another specifically made for Ventus. It even had a handle to support Ventus' backhanded style. These swords their father hid for emergency. He was going to give them to the twins once they were older. Too late for that now. "I got our /real/ swords Ven." He traced his fingers over the blade of his own sword. The handle was ebony and ivory checkers which was Roxas' favorite. The handle of Ventus' sword was green and brown. Just holding the sword felt so right. He showed Ventus his sword when he got back down with the book. "Here's your weird sword." He searched some more underneath the floor. There was some secret supplies stashed as well as some more weapons. "Hey Tails, when you get back I can give you some stuff you can use. There's extra weapons here for you too Smoke."

~Link/Estheim~   He didn't know all he could do to help Silver. For now, he could just be thankful. Dawn released her hold on him as Silver had ordered. Link wasn't sure that he should leave quite yet, though. He drew his sword and backed up to where Silver was. "Looks like we've found our Mage."~Miles "Tails" Thompson~ Tails nodded at Smoke and Nobody, before heading out. He didn't see any reason why the town would empty. In the distance he saw a group of four people, but he'd thought to leave them alone. They're probably just as confused as he. One of the people looked like Link, but he didn't have a cap, so it couldn't be possible. Tails continued to look around, for anything else suspicious. He looked towards the sky; It was past noon, yet there have been hardly any guard interventions, besides what had happened at the Twin's house earlier. Wait, wasn't Tails still in a guard outfit? He could take a good look around without getting noticed... Or maybe he should head back. Yeah, that's a sound idea. Miles twisted his body around, and dashed back towards the house to meet up with Smoke and the others. "I guess bringing this wasn't really needed." He tossed the dagger back to Smoke.
