Small things like this really made it a bigger emotional impact for me tbh. Archer using what he learned from Saber against Saber. That and how he's really unconsciously mimicking Archer.

 

That and the usage of AIMERS, Last Stardust is beautiful.

How necessary is watching F/SN before /Zero and UBW? I think Emiya mentioned that UBW covers a different route but I've heard that SN isn't as good compared to the other two.

I wouldn't say bad. Just unfaithfully adaptated and poorly animated. Its spin off comedy series "Carnival Phantasm" however is good. Haven't read the manga or heard good things about it. Fate stay night is based of a visual novel. Thats its original source material, not a manga like most animes. 

 

 

Btw new RWBY episode, Keiji Tang voiced a character in the new RWBY. The guy who plays Archer in Fate. And not just any character

That's interesting...

As someone who loves Fate/Zero enough to say it could be my favorite anime yet

 

I refused to watch Unlimited Blade Works for the longest time afraid it wouldn't live up to the epic that was Zero

 

But now I can honestly say UBW is very well done, it has lots of plot twists and mysteries Zero didn't since Zero basically laid out all the pieces and players for you at the beginning whereas UBW reveals things over time

 

I will say this: finding usable gifs of Shirou that don't contain spoilers is darn near impossible
