I made it to the Emerald Forest bit twice, and then it just...I don't know...

Is it just a part you need to suffer through to get to better stuff, like the second half of Supernatural Season 1?

I honestly don't remember much from V1 and V2

I thought V3 started out well but then weird stuff started happening in the story as it wrapped up

For V4 they changed animation programs so I've heard it looks nicer. Heard good things, but Ruby's pointed out some issues, namely with development of specific characters

Also the main creator dude (Monty Oum) died in... 2015?, so the show went from having 3 writers to 2 (Miles Luna and Kerry Shawcross), so that def had an impact

I've only got volumes 1-3. I got a special collection. volume 4 is out on Bluray, but why buy it?

Since Volume 1 she hasn't really grown or become stronger

 

In most fighting animes your protagonist becomes more powerful but Ruby loses all her solo fights and has to be saved by others

 

Jaune is the one showing growth but the show ain't called JNPR

 

I think it's a serious conflict of interest that the voice actor for Jaune happens to be one of the writers

 

That's why I'm not really interested in volume 5

 

I mainly just watch it for Qrow now since he's freaking epic
