September 24, 201411 yr Do you think we have free will, or are all of our decisions caused by a chain reaction of events that started from before our birth that we can only be in constant reaction to?
September 24, 201411 yr World War II is just the continuation and end to World War I, as the Treaty of Versailles left the Germans very angry and didn't solve anything World War I was like The Desolation of Smaug, where you build up to the climax then abruptly cut to credits with no actual ending World War II was The Battle of the Five Armies, where you get not only the ending to the story before it but the resolution to the new plot you introduce World War III will be the spin-off series where the entire story will revolve around something as insignificant as a ring I'd be a great history teacher
September 24, 201411 yr I do believe we have free will some of the time, just not all of the time. Some things are not preordained by genetics, or the order of the universe or 'the way things are'. Some things happen because someone decided that it was going to happen. However, I'm also a relatively amateur philosopher, so there might be some bigger meaning behind all of this that I'm simply not aware of. What do you think, poster below me?
September 24, 201411 yr Do you think we have free will, or are all of our decisions caused by a chain reaction of events that started from before our birth that we can only be in constant reaction to?I think when we are born there's trillions of options and paths available to us that are already laid out, but with each choice we make certain ones are lost to us foreverSo throughout life we continue making decisions along this tree if you would with numerous branches and get more and more of a specific path laid out as we cancel out our optionsThis continues until eventually you're only left with a handful of outcomes and paths left, which we'll keep choosing from up until we finally reach the final option- deathI do believe we have free will some of the time, just not all of the time. September 24, 201411 yr If reality is a matter of perception and acceptance does that mean The World Ends With You?
September 24, 201411 yr If reality is a matter of perception and acceptance does that mean The World Ends With You? I don't believe so. I think reality, assuming that the term defines something consisting of absolute truths, would exist and continue to do so whether you were to perceive it or not.
September 24, 201411 yr Author Maybe life's just a big Sims game and we're all told what to do via button options. I'unno, man. *takes a wig of beer*

September 25, 201411 yr I don't believe so. I think reality, assuming that the term defines something consisting of absolute truths, would exist and continue to do so whether you were to perceive it or not. But what's the point of knowing this if you're not there to except the truths for yourself. There are some out there that believe only there done it's done because there not around anymore to percieve that's not true.
