Sora never went through a Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony, Sora is able to weild a Keyblade due to Ventus's heart. Does this mean when Ventus reawakens that he will lose the power to wield a Keyblade? In my opinion, yes.

But, this will create a new goal. Sora will become a Keyblade Master after the events of Dream Drop Distance, and through time and time again he has proven himself worthy to wield the keyblade. In Kingdom Hearts III, I think it would be best if Sora finally got his own Keyblade, that was meant for him. Will it be a keyblade we've already seen? Or will it be something we havent seen before?

This is all hypothetical. What do you think?

well first off, that's implying Sora hasn't gotten more powerful

second, Sora wouldn't need to worry about tough heartless without his keyblade, they'd no longer seek him out

He needs his Keyblade, period.

why? Leon doesn't need a keyblade. Or any Org members. a keyblade would make him better, but he can manage on his own. He DOES have the innate ability to wield magic

Well, that may be, but really, when's the last time you saw him fight without a Keyblade? And without the protection of another being such as Beast? For all we know, he's a pissant without the Keyblade. And besides, like it was mentioned earlier, I don't him losing the Keyblade again would amount to anything.

Off the top of my head

anti-form

any time he uses magic also counts

Yeah, no. Anti-Form is not something he can enter in any time he wants.

Also, he's not going to just randomly throw out spells without his Keyblade. It doesn't work like that.

You see, the Kingdom Key was meant for Riku, but since Riku's heart was tainted by darkness, it chose Sora instead.  Later in the game, Riku regains his Keyblade because of how strong he has become, but eventually it goes back to Sora, for Sora's devotion to his friends and his willingness to sacrifice everything made the Keyblade choose Sora again as its Chosen One.  So no, Sora will not lose his Keyblade. :3

Give him a sword and he will swing it around the same way he does a Keyblade. The keyblade pretty much allows him to unlock keyholes....Wooo....

Still can't tell me he'll either lose it and/or use magic without it, because again, nobody just throws out magic spells with their bare hands...

Oh, I don't think he would lose it. I'm just saying he'd be fine without it. Probably could shoot magic out of his sword. Like Squall does in KH. As well as countless other FF characters.

Doesn't mean he should. Nor should we expect him to do anything without the Keyblade because, hey, how would you like if you had a badass sword-oh wait, you don't, you have a stupid sitar. :P

Don't think he should. Just saying he could.

Better than a giant key.

Giant keys are awesome, what are you even on?

They really aren't.

Yeah, they are. Better than that sitar.

Roxas throws magic with his bare hands

and Sora can use magic with his wooden sword in KH1

Two instances that barely lasted in canon. We can't nor should have to spend what might be the entire game (or at least a large portion) of it Keyblade-less. F*ck that, end of story.

No he won't since it chose him in KH1 but its interesting because if Roxas becomes a real person and is revived then will he be able to use the keyblade as well? My guess is no

Sora will ALWAYS have the Keyblade, unless it chooses someone else (highly unlikely)!!  He just wouldn't be able to Duel-Wield without Ventus's heart.

Then again... what about Roxas and Xion's Keyblades?
